Personality: Huang Kwang Seo, better known as Huang Zhu Yin (Athena) is this baby-faced girl that a lot of people find cute. She's often seen smiling, and is usually quiet. She's not one to speak a lot, since she doesn't know what to say, but when she does she gets really talkative. Athena is also shy, so it takes time for her to approach people and befriend them, she kinda prefers them coming up to her. She isn't hard to approach for she's very sweet and polite too. One problem is that it's hard for her to hold a conversation, which is why she doesn't have a lot of people to talk to. Background: Athena was born in Seoul, but had moved in Taipei when she was about 3 years old. She had always been the quiet one in her family and also among her group of friends. Always silent and always smiling, others thought it was weird. And when she was young, she was always fond of chocolates, so her dad brings her chocolates everytime he comes home from work. When she had started pre-school she would usually be wandering around, gazing in awe with what she sees. Then she saw this mural of a person and some piano notes, she got curious and then her teacher said it was a person singing. That's when her curiousity grew further, till she got addicted to music. She was young, but she started learning all types of music, listening to some. Music became her addiction.

When she and her family had moved back to South Korea, promising that it'll be there last move, she wandered off to every music store. She recalled the guy who suggested her to audition, that's when she started picking out the perfect songs to sing, dance and rap.

Family Background: Athena's family are mixed with Chinese and Koreans. Huang Xi Min, her father, is Korean-Chinese and is working at a big company in the China but had transfered back to his hometown in South Korea. While Shin Mi, who is Athena's mother, is Korean-Taiwanese but knows how to speak English. She was a model once, so now she became a bit of a fashionista. Both of her parents are successful with their work and also successful with their family. They have a very close bond that other families may not have, although they still have problems.

With siblings, Tao was born and grew up in China, while Athena was born in Seoul but grew up in Taiwan. Both of them were seperated from childhood but were close because they often talk online. Sometimes one of them will visit the other when they have the time to, besides China and Taiwan aren't that far. Both of them had passion for music especially rapping. How you became a trainee under SM?: While she was in Taiwan, there was a staff there who was having his vacation till he spotted her. Athena was in the park with her friends playing some music, she sang and rapped some of Eminem's songs. He came up to her when they were about to go home, telling her that one of SK's biggest company, SME, is helding up auditions. He also encouraged her on joining. She wasn't really interested, but her friends told her to try it out, if it doesn't work out then that's it. It took about 10 minutes for her to oblige.

On the day of the auditions, she was somehow nervous yet at the same time excited. She did her best on her performance, hoping that even though she doesn't pass they'd still like what she did. Well, because of her fierceness, unknown charm and talent the judges liked her a lot and accepted her. That's how she became a trainee.

Trainee Life?: Life as a trainee was definetly harder than it seemed. Athena wasn't used to waking up so darn early in the morning, but she had to because of training. She also had to deal with some of the other trainees who gave her a hard time. She didn't have much friends there, she was too shy and focused on training that she only gained about two friends. It didn't seem to bother her though, she continued with her duties as a trainee and always did her best.

Pre-debut works: Athena had worked as a model online shops around South Korea and was a part-time waitress in her mother's cafe.
