The chattering of Hogwarts student filled the great hall, as a exciting new year had begun again. However, it wasn't so great for the golden trio, Hermione, Ron, and Harry. Something had happen after the Quidditch World Cup, when Death Eaters had arrive.

"Harry, just calm down. We're safe at school." Hermione stated, as she patter his back.

Harry sighed, as Dumbledore had finally came in. The first year students came in too, going to the front of the great hall, just like he did on his first year. The sorting had become, and when the last person was called, Dumbledore onto his post.

"WELCOME TO ALL!" He declared, with a smile going from ear to ear, "Hope you will have a fantastic here at Hogwarts, but first there are some rules." Eyeing the first years he began, just like every year.

"Quidditch try outs start in the-" Dumbledore, stopped, as he focused the new guest from the entrance.

It was Lucius Malfoy, he had smugged look on his face, as he passed Harry Potter, but smiled as he caught Dumbledore's attention.

"I'm sorry for disturbing Professor Dumbledore, but you have missed a very important student." He came up to him, whispering into his ear.

Dumbledore seemed like a light bulb went beside his ear, "I have forgotten that there will be a new student joining our fourth years." Again the whispering and mumbling came.

There wasn't people who started in the middle of the year at Hogwarts. If you didn't start at the first year, you wouldn't be able to apply for following years. The four years whispered more, getting a new classmate wasn't what the expected.

With a flick of Lucius' wand, the door opened to reveal Mei Kuran in a Hogwarts uniform. She smiled brightly, walking elegantly too the front. It did not bother her, when the glares of girl students came her way. It was the smile of Lucius making her uncomfortable, but she wouldn't want to make a bad impression on her first day.

Dumbledore, lead her to the sorting hat, where it was immediately placed on her head, "It seems, I've got another difficult person. She is brave like a Gryffindor, loyal like a Hufflepuff, wise like a Ravenclaw, and she is cunning like a Slytherin. Very hard, but which would you like not?"

Mei thought hard, Lucius told her she had to go with Slytherin because of Draco, but she didn't want to be with that blond headed boy. Like she said, he was an evil snake.

"Not slytherin." She mumbled, and the hat took the in question.

"It's seems my choice is, GRYFFINDOR!" The hat yelled as the table on the  far left exploding cheering.

She quickly went to her seat, beside a girl with brown curly hair. Mei had introduced herself, and so did she. It was Hermione, and she then introduced the rest of the four year Gryffindors to her. Mei caught Lucius attention, as he was beside Draco about to leave. He did not seem happy at all, but she was already sorted into this house, so she didn't care.

Dumbledore smiled at Mei, as she began eating, but again he forgot something, "Students!" He yelled, as he pointed to a tall goblet, "This is the Goblet of Fire. We will be hosting the Triwizard Tournament, which three schools will be competing in to. Since, it involves dangerous task only people seventeen and up will join."

Boos and hisses were made by the younger students, but mostly made by the Weasley twins, "Now let's introduce the two other schools competing!"

"Here are the Beausbaton Acadmeny from France!" Dumbledore, declared, pointing at the door.

Girls dressed in elegant blue dresses came in, Mei cheered as it was her old school. The girls twirled, as Mei remember the routine from last year. She was the on who was supposed to do the gymnastics, but since she moved here, it was given to her best friend, Jade.

"Mei! Fleur one of her older classmates yelled, as she walked past the Gryffindor table.

"You know them?" Ron asked in awe, as he stared at the Beauxbaton girls.

Mei smiled, as some of the other students remembered her and waved, "I used to go here, but now I'm here for good."

Suddenly, a thundering noise came from the back of the great hall, "The Durmstrang boys from Norway!" The boys came in their suits.

The flipped and turned as, the head master came in. Mei noticed, Ro' eyes sparkling even more than, when he saw the girls.

"Ron, are you okay?" Mei asked, tapping his shoulder.

He nodded excitedly, "It's just, It's Viktor Krum!" He shouted, as he passed by Ron, who looked like he would faint at any second. 

The boys and girl from the different schools, came to the fron with their headmasters in front. They all bowed and headed to a table. The Durmstrang boys went to the Slytherin table and the Beauxbatons went to the Ravenclaw table.

"Welcome everyone!" Again, more food were placed in front of them, and they started eating again.

"WHERE ARE MY THINGS!?" Herminone yelled, as she entered her room with Lavender.

One of the perfects came rushing in as, everyone could have heard Hermione's yell, "Your stuff has been moved to your new room, with your new room mate." The perfect smiled, grabbing her hand.

Hermione looked over at Lavender, who was just confused as she was. The perfect lead to a new room, which wasn't far away then her old one. As, the perfect opened the door, Mei sat in one of the comfortable chairs, reading a book.

"Mei Kuran, this is your roommate for the rest of your years in Hogwarts. Please sleep, since there will be studies tomorrow." The perfect declared, as Mei stood up and bowed at Herminoe.

Mei smiled, "I'm glad your my roommate. No one really likes me." Mei declared, sitting down again.

Hermione nodded, "Well, I really don't get a long with my roommates, so let's have a fun time tonight."

Suddenly, a sudden blow to Mei's head, dropped her book, "What was that for-"

Another pillow crashed into her face, "I've heard of pillow fights before, but was never able to do it, so come, Mei." Hermione declared, throwing another pillow.

Mei smirked, "Fell my pillow fury!"
