Tips On How To Write A Psychological Story?

So I've been having ideas for a psycological fanfiction lately but I have zero idea how I should even start one. I've done research on the subject and I've seen my fair share of psycological movies but I just can't seem to grasp how one should write one. I kind of have an idea in my head but like I said...not sure how to write it. Any tips or advice would be great!

Do you mean writing about mental illnesses? I have information on a mental illness called Stockholm Syndrome, would you like me to tell you more about this mental illness? I'm writing a fic about that soon also.

Do ur research first of all, it will help expand your horizons and give you an idea of what to write.
