We Should Support Them

There are a lot of new authors on asianfanfics these days and like we all once were [and still are], they are in that period when they improve. That hard period we also went through at the beginning when we believed what we were writing was right but it actually wasn't. Maybe their spelling and grammar aren't good, maybe the way they describe the action/write the story/writing style isn't good either, but which one of us was a God of writing since the first beginning? Nobody, I guess. And I force you to agree with me because it's true. Nobody born as a good writer. All of us learned mainly from our own mistakes . So, remembering the good and maybe silly in some of the cases times, let's support the new authors.
This means, no bashing! Bashing make people lose their confidence. The lose of confidence make a lot of new authors give up on writing and why will you give up on something you really want to do just because some people bashed your work?
When you give the new authors advices, try to be as nice as possible. Don't tell them [just] what they did wrong in a harsh way, but tell them nicely and also don't forget to point out the good things too.
All of us should have a second chance and I really don't like those people who laugh at the new authors' stories.
One thing is sure! Newbie or not, we all put a lot of work and passion in our writing, we also lose a lot of time sitting in front of the computer and thinking what to write next so, I'll kindly ask you to not forget that with grammar errors or not, we are all the same ; people who let out their imagination through writing.
Writing brings me happiness. People reading my stories bring me happiness also. Knowing some strangers out there read my work and appreaciate it, more or less, is what bring me happiness. So, let's let the new authors enjoy this happiness too.

but anyway, too many grammar mistakes and spelling mistakes are disturbing to a reader whose English is pretty good and very confusing and a bad example to the other new authors.
Even that, I myself try to continue reading even i have to stop each paragraph and massage my temples because, yeah, the grammar mistakes are giving me a bad headache and plus, i have this really bad habit to mentally correct what the others had written wrong. and this, my friend, is a really, ____ like disturbing habit, and i'll pray to God for you people out there to not have it. It gives you really really ugly headaches, i repeat myself.
by the way Mei, this blog post made me think twice about the so-called 'newbies'.

I have no right to tell which story is well-written and which is not since I myself am not a good reader/commenter either. I am not good at grammar, but I've tried my best to give them support by leaving comments on their stories. Ehehe.. Btw, you are the writer of 'Beautiful Sin', right? I've been waiting so long for your story to be updated, hehehe..

Thanks for letting me take space here. Good night^^.
