I think everyone's copying EXO's concept now of having one larger group and have subgroups promoting in different Asian countries.

I know the whole idea of subgroups isn't new, but before EXO debuted, the bigger group usually promoted as a whole in Korea and subunits would just promote occassionally, but still to the Korean market.

Now Pledis is planning to debut a group called Seventeen consisting of seventeen members that are to promote in the Korean, Japanese, and Chinese market >.>
