style: kylea's sense of style is basically anything that can match with her dr martens. she's willing to try anything with her clothes as long as she feels good in it, no matter how different it may be. kylea usually gravitates towards the more neutral tones like black, grey, and white. within the range of neutral colors, she would add in only one other color--violet. her shoe closet mainly consists of a variety of different styles and types of dr martens and one pair of white high top converse sneakers. in america, she was known for her sense of style and often helped her friends with fashion advice.

personality: kylea likes to read people and observe. when she makes predictions about them, most of the time she's right. besides being intuitive, she is extremely stubborn and sticks to what she believes. coming from two lawyer parents, she is very good at convincing people to do things, including getting her best friend to audition for one of the biggest entertainment companies in all of south korea. she likes to get on people's nerves at times and she knows exactly how to do it. using her intuition, she can pinpoint what annoys a person the most and act upon it. if you're not close with her, sarcastic remarks make up around 90% of her responses to you. kylea's comebacks are hard to match, proving her witty personality. she may seem quiet on the outside, but when she speaks, she's always very clever and ten steps ahead in the conversation.

background: kylea was born on december 15, 1993 in manhattan, new york into a well-off family. she grew up with two lawyers as parents, always living under their rules and decisions. as a child, even for the minor things, her parents were able to talk her out of choices that they didn't want her to make, leaving her subject to their control. although her mother didn't show it often and usually went along with what kylea's father was saying, she loved her and jihoo more than anyone else in the world. kylea's father was completely against the thought of kylea becoming anything but a lawyer and she hasn't contacted him since she left to move to korea. it didn't really make that much of a difference because their relationship was never strong. however, soojin fully supported kylea's decision to move to korea to train, but had to stay in america because of her job and her husband. since kylea is a few years older than jihoo, her younger brother looks up to her a lot and supports her in anything she does, even if it did mean he wouldn't be able to see her for the next few years. similar to kylea, jihoo is diligently studying to become a lawyer, but unlike his older sister, he actually enjoys the subject and is passionate about it, earning the spot of daddy's favorite child.

before kylea was accepted into sm entertainment, she was at the top of her class, but under an immense amount of pressure. all she ever did was study and do work, never once considering what she wanted to do. day after day, the routine was the same and that was the main reason why she decided to audition. she wanted a change, no matter how drastic it was, to break her old, mundane lifestyle.

trainee history: kylea and jongdae were participating in a talent show for their high school in korea and won in late 2009. an sm agent gave her her card and told kylea to audition and she eventually did after much persuasion from jongdae. after getting accepted into sm entertainment, she trained for about 3 years. the singing part of trainee life was enjoyable with her amazing singing voice, but when it came to rapping, she was completely lost. although she tried hard to rap, her words never came out right and the rapping trainers eventually realized training kylea to rap was a lost cause. and even though she's not one of the best, she does like moving her body to the beat, and thus, dancing came to her more easily than she had expected.

personality: sehun is usually oblivious to the people around him, often caught in a daze, causing him to blurt out whatever's on his mind when his daydream is interrupted. he's usually quiet, but when he does talk, it sounds out of place and random because he wasn't saying what was on his mind beforehand. he's passionate about his work and always humble, despite the amount of compliments he receives a day for his good looks and dancing. due to his lack of attention span to the intricate details of things other than his music and dancing, it's hard to get close to him. however, once something, or someone, does make their way into his heart, he is willing to try his hardest for them. he enjoys being alone, but when he's with exo, he is often seen laughing at the most random of times. sehun is impulsive and he likes it that way. there's nothing better than acting on a whim and going all out with whatever it is he's doing. he tries to act as manly as possible in front of the camera to live up to his idol image, but when he's with the people he's close with, he's just a regular boy who peed his bed when he was younger, misses his mother's nurturing, and enjoys sleeping in whenever possible.

backstory: kylea and sehun met when kylea joined as a trainee, but never really noticed each other until the collaboration.

relationship status: although the two just met as trainees, the two slowly became friends when kylea took an interest in sehun at the first collaboration meeting. eventually, they are comfortable enough to go to each other for advice and consolation when their days are rough. over time, kylea and sehun begin to rely and need each other's presence even if they don't realize it yet.
