personality ♡ Taeyeon - known by her peers as Tae, known by her childhood friend as ByunTae - is definitely not your average teenage girl. For one thing, she spends so much time watching the science and history channels, that she can rattle off factoids like they were the names of famous celebrities. She clothes herself in attire that hides her figure. She would prefer to call an older male "hyung" rather than "oppa," and she enjoys spitting out erted jokes that would make a middle aged man blush. She isn't exactly the sporty type (in fact, she's rather slow and uncoordinated when it comes to anything with a ball), but she does have a natural talent for archery (she tried out for the archery team on a whim; she called it beginner's luck when her first two shots hit the target's bulls-eye; the archery team called her a new recruit and welcomed her into the club with open arms). She is also the type of person who enjoys babying those younger than her; if she finds a person she deems "cute," she won't hesitate to spoil them to no end. A lot of her underclassmen take advantage of her kindness in this way, but Taeyeon doesn't mind - or notice. Yes, she also tends to be rather oblivious to her surroundings, and to other people's feelings. She is straightforward to a fault; because of her blunt self, Taeyeon tends to alienate herself from people on purpose.
More than anything else in the world, Taeyeon loves music. She can lose herself in it; she's skipped school on accident, because she was so into a song's composition. People throw around the word 'love' a lot, but Taeyeon truly believes that her first love was - and still is - music. She is stubborn, and when she has a hunger for something - anything, but usually something related to music - her determination will make her push herself to her limits; thus, she also gets sick often.
