Personality : Weird, outgoing,hyper-active,caring, humorous, that's how Soyeon's friends describe her. She is very protective towards her love ones, her friends. Whenever they meet any problems, they will look for Soyeon and she will try her best to help them. History : Her parents were professional dancers hence they expect their children to be dancing too. Although Hyoyeon is a very talented dancer and likes dancing a lot, Soyeon doesn't really like dancing that much although she has some skills for that. She preferred singing over dancing. At first her parents forced her to take up ballet and jazz but Soyeon was quite stubborn about it and insisted on taking singing classes instead. They were quite reluctant to send her for singing classes but eventually let her because she was still young and think that she will eventually give up when she realise she can't do it. However, Soyeon was really talented in singing and won numerous of singing compeitition after learning singing for about 2 years. Soyeon wanted to join the SM auditions the next year after Hyoyeon got in but her parents opposed again. Soyeon started to practice more secretly when her parents were teaching and went for the audition secretly. After she was chosen, she told her parents about it and they got really angry but gave her the support after Hyoyeon told them that she is doing quite well.
