Secondly--.

I can't believe I got myslef into this . I mean, I know the plot was going to be mega-stupid-complex, but now that I think about it....This is going to need special planning. I never plan ahead well for stories and it's going to be the death of me. To be honest, if I do manage to get this done properly, this would have close to fifty chapters. I hadn't written a story that long since the eighth grade!

What the hell did I just do to myself?

I've had this up since last month, and I'd been toiling in the sun trying to figure out how I was going to start it. There are many surprises in this one and I need a hell of a lot of time to work out the kinks...I'd lost two subbies on it already (not that it's a big deal, but still) so that means I have to throw this thing into overdrive or something. Unrequited love is something that can be written about effortlessly in a regular romantic and dramatic setting. Angst can be worked in there seamlessly. But secrets and mixed dilemmas and rich people and....

(That mental image will have women (and some men) going to hell, people. Believe me. *mega-spazz)

Getting back to the topic at hand, this is going to be almost TV-worthy, really. And since I'm rusty on my delivery in writing (given that I had written anything in three years story-wise until roughly a month ago) this is going to be tricky. I hadn't read any good books either... So I'll end up doing that; reading, I mean.

 

To all who are subbed to "In the Kingka's Shadow" I humbly extend the most desperate, ugly-tear-faced apology. To those who hadn't subbed and are interested, freely sub, but the updates will be slow as I'll have to work on my element of surprise. That and whimsical humor...

I can't write humor on purpose! I might be a right fool when speaking with people but I love serious in stories. I love crime, drama, murders and other things that is just plain...NOT FUNNY.

And still laugh at it at some point anyway.

Surprising and confusing people enough to make them read more is fun, and I hadn't worked that ability in a very long time. So please, bear with me.

Keep in mind, this is with a a hard-arsed twist. The foreword took more effort than usual and I need a new one before I explode. I'm not sure if I want to work up to that point and if I do, it's going to change dramatically. I feel it's too wordy for my tastes. But if I'm going to drag you in, what the hell, right?
