Personality

Background:

 Hyungmin happened to be born in China when his family was having a vacation there. His mother was not expecting it at all because she was still in her early eighth month, Hyungmin was suppose to born next month when they came back to Korea. So his father acted quickly and brought his wife to the hospital. Hyungmin was born premature and so small so he had to stay in the hospital for a few weeks. Luckily, his condition was good and they can go home with baby Hyungmin.

Hyungmin grew up into a cheerful boy that likes to play a lot and joke around. He was the only child in his family but he never felt lonely because both of his parents were always there and took care of him well. But no, he’s not a spoiled child just because of that. Instead, people can depend on him when he’s needed. The boy will also change almost 180 degree from the playful kid into a grown up man.

Although Hyungmin is kinda short for his age, but he covered it with his wushu skills that he had learn since elementary school. He never uses that skills to bully or beat up another kid, nor does he like to pick up a fight. He just uses it sometimes to defend himself from other people. Like when he was in middle school, he went home late that time and a drunken old man was almost ually harassing him. Hyungmin quickly pushed and kicked the man off from him and ran away.

It was when Hyungmin 15 years old, he was just going to accompany his friends to enter N.O Entertainment and took an audition. He never had any interest to be an idol at all. But seeing the people singing and dancing with all their heart to join this agency made Hyungmin curious and joined the audition too. Who knows he got picked and going to continue his career as an idol…

Description:

Hyungmin is a really out-going boy and playful one. He spoke out what’s in his mind bravely and definitely not a shy type one. He likes to initiate the conversation with other people and get to know more about them, or become their friends if he could. Although sometimes Hyungmin need to learn to be quiet when it was needed. It is really easy to read Hyungmin’s feeling about something. He showed it all in his face, smile, pout, frown, worry, etc. His eyes are so full of expression. And he has a lot of tears too. No no, it’s not like he’s a crybaby, but Hyungmin is easily cry when he feels too happy, or sad, or angry. Even when he saw his friends getting into a fight, you will expect to see Hyungmin cries while pleading for them to stop.

The boy didn’t even hesitate to tell people about his ual preference. He will say, “Is there a written rule or law that says I should date a girl?” to anyone who questioned about it. He also likes skinship. Maybe….he likes it too much that he often clinging on the other’s arm or holding their hand. He acted like a maknae when he’s the one that’s old enough. But maybe thanks to his short height, so people didn’t even feel annoyed to be clung by Hyungmin.

Hyungmin knew exactly when he should play and when he should serious. He trained so seriously and followed all the lessons very well. People who saw him will think that Hyungmin’s dream is to be a singer when he’s actually just joined out of his curiosity. But as time pass by, Hyungmin enjoyed his activities with the other trainee. Singing and dancing in front of people has become his hobby without him knowing it.

Family Members:

Choi Sung Jin (43) | Father of Hyungmin | The man is the one that Hyungmin so respected in his life. His father always showing loveable side toward his son, yet he still has this fatherly aura feeling around him. Although he was so busy as a businessman that started to open new branch in Japan, he still spend some time to call Hyungmin or home.

Lee Hyo Jin (40) | Mother of Hyungmin | Hyungmin saw her as the kindest woman he ever met. She never gets angry and starts yelling like any other mother. If Hyungmin does something bad, she would hold the son in her arms and start asking him. She would give him explanation about what he did wrong, so Hyungmin would learn to not do it again.

Friends: Minho | SHINee | Actually, Minho and Hyungmin were happened to be in the same high school. Hyungmin was Minho’s hoobae in school and they were pretty close. Both were in the same track and field club and often hang out together. That was until Minho joined abother agency, SMEnt and debuted as SHINee along with the other members.

Love Interest 1: Joon | MBLAQ | Both of them are like North pole and South pole of a magnet. Hyungmin is the witty and out-spoken one while Joon is always the shy yet gentle one. Hyungmin always showed Joon that he has some interest toward the man by holding Joon’s arm or boldly asking him for a dinner. But Joon usually will answer it with reddened cheeks and nodded shyly. It was always Hyungmin that speaks for Joon whenever the man started stuttering and feeling hesitate to speak.

love Interest 2: Woohyun | Infinite | The only one that can make Hyungmin shut up and blushing shyly is Woohyun. The man often does cheesy things in front of others and made Hyungmin blushing crazily. Despite that, Hyungmin enjoyed the older man’s accompany with him because Woohyun can be so mature sometimes and gave him some advice that help him in his career.
