Personality—

Being an extrovert person she is, Jiyoung express her feeling very well. She always tell whatever in her mind, whether it's good or bad. For her, even a white lie would hurt too in the end, so it's better to be honest. Some of her friend would tell her that she's a straightforward person but that's her good point. They know she is not gonna back-stabbing her friends. Jiyoung is a very loyal girl. There's nothing more precious than friendship in her life. Jiyoung tends to be the moodbooster for her friends. She smiles a lot and likes to pull pranks either. Her acting skills helps her a lot. She's like high on sugar everytime. To describe her in once sentence, she's like a ball of energy. Background—

Jiyoung's father met her mother when he went to China because of work. He had opened a new restaurant in China. They got married not long after that, but sadly for five years they hadn't got any children. It was the sixth year of their marriege anniversary that Jiyoung was born. She was the only child and her parents loved her so much, almost to the extent of spoiling her. Her father's restaurant was a big success so Jiyoung lived in pretty much all the wealth her father had. Everything that she wanted can be easily granted by her parents. When she was seven years old, Jiyoung already attracted into entertainment industries. She wanted to be an actress at first. From there, she enrolled in an acting class in Qingdao until she was ten years old. Sadly she had to move to Seoul, South Korea, because her father was going to open another restaurant there. In Seoul, Jiyoung's dream to be an actress was never stop. She then joined FnC Entertainment to receive proper training as actress when she was twelve years old.

Four years in FnC Entertainment was enough to make her got casted into some drama. She acted in "Dream High 2" along with other idols like SISTAR Hyorin and T-Ara Jiyeon. And the recent drama she got casted to was the romance drama "My Love From The Star". She got the honor to play as young Cheon Seon Yi and have a scene with Kim Soo Hyun, the male lead actor. But seeing the other trainee in FnC, Jiyoung felt she wanted to be like them too. To be able to sing and dance with the group. Jiyoung was always alone with her manager. Well, actress was always alone, right? Feeling this wasn't right, Jiyoung decided to end her contract with FnC and moved to Jellyfish Entertainment. When she auditioned for Jellyfish, actually the CEO saw her singing and dancing skill was not very satisfying. But seeing her acting experience, the CEO thought it won't hurt to put her in with the other trainee. She could improve her singing and dancing skills with the other.

The first day of acting training, Jiyoung is like her usual self, talkative, cheerful, and straightforward. On the other hand, Leo finds himself a bit uncomfortable with her contrast personality with his. But Jiyoung is not Jiyoung if she let Leo's cold attitude toward her make her sad. Insisting that the man has to be professional, she continues her train and succeed in making Leo give up, letting her do whatever she want.

Interactions— Jiyoung is attracted to Leo because everytime the man sings, she can see how Leo put every soul into each sentence of the lyric he sang. Jiyoung herself dreams to be a singer like Leo, so everyone who hear her singing will know what kind of song it is even if they doesn't understand the language. In exchange for teaching Leo to act, Jiyoung asks the man to teach her to sing. She still feel her voice lacks a lot feelings and power. Although at first Leo only teach her because she's from the same company as him and remembering Jiyoung also a part of Pinkie. He thinks it'll be great if Pinkie can improve too. But as time pass by, Leo can see how sincere she is in singing. That part of her made him fall in love with her. Jiyoung herself also actually have feelings for the quiet man. Despite the contrast personality, she loves how gentle and caring Leo is toward her. VIXX and Pinkie's members see Jiyoung and Leo like a puzzle piece that can complete each other. Trainee Life—

FnC Entertainment
She joined FnC when she was twelve. Under the same label as CNBlue, FT.Island, and AOA, Jiyoung was excited to pursue her career as actress. She trained her acting skills with the help of her mentors. Sometimes her sunbae Jung Yonghwa from CNBlue or Hongki from FT.Island would join the mentors to teach the new actresses since they also had good acting skills. Jiyoung had no problem with the other trainee. He Korean also improved quickly, though it wasn't that bad either from the start. Four years in FnC, Jiyoung felt so lonely. She often watch AOA's practice. She was envy seeing the girls are training together, laughing, and it seems fun. All Jiyoung had was her manager oppa only. With determined heart, Jiyoung decided to end her contract with FnC and moved out to search for another agency to debut as girlgroup.

Jellyfish Entertainment
Jiyoung auditioned to join Jellyfish Entertainment. The judges actually saw Jiyoung as only pretty-faced kid. Her voice and dancing skill were not too good back then. But seeing how she had some acting experience, they thought Jiyoung would be able to improve fast together with the other trainee. So she managed to join Jellyfish and officially started her train. Too bad the trainees there saw Jiyoung as obstacle. She was seen as only pretty but her skills in dance and sing are so-so. For a few months, they bullied Jiyoung using the seniority they had to order her doing some things, such as cleaning the practice room or washing the towel they had used. Jiyoung had this urge to punch those trainee in the face actually, but since she was new here, she decided to ignore them instead. That was until Jiyoung finally reached her limit and snapped at them. She practiced her acting skills on them. She said her father had the largest share in Jellyfish, so if they didn't want to never debut, they should leave her alone. Good thing it works well. Her father doesn't even have any share in fact, oh well. Knowing that she had bad dance and singing skill, Jiyoung always spent some extra time to train more. When the other trainee had gone home, Jiyoung would still sit on the recording room to train her singing or dancing to some songs in front of the mirror. She was the trainee that improved her skill the fastest among all.
