Personality:

SooYee is very much Spontaneous and bold. She doesn't really mind where she is or who is around her--she is going to act like herself. If she wants to have fun, she will. She is very much energetic and exciting. She'll jump ontop of a table and dance to her favorite song, hula hoop in public, do some handstands and walk around on her hands, or run around with a baby doll in her hands shouting, "Are you my baby daddy? I need to find my baby daddy!" She isn't afraid to enjoy life--even if that means that she will be looked upon as being weird or crazy. She only has one life to live, so why not make it fun and exciting while she is alive. She isn't afraid to say what is on her mind, nor is she afraid to tell you how she feels. She isn't trying to be mean--she's far from it, but she just feels that she has to say what is on her mind at the moment. Her friends note that they'd never be able to do half of the stuff she does because they are somewhat insecure, but SooYee most definitely isn't. It's not like she is conceited or anything--it's just that she feels as though if someone likes her, they do, if they don't, they don't. Plain and simple. She doesn't mind what others have to say about her because they do not validate the type of person that she is.

SooYee is definitely a choco-holic, and she admits that. She always (and I mean always) has to have chocolates in the morning or in order for her to function. Chocolates, to her, is like her alcohol and without it, she is a wreck. She knows basically all the chocolates there is out there and can spot a piece of chocolate a mile away. She carries a secret stash of chocolates around with her. She doesn't hesitate to share anything with her friends BUT her chocolates. She immediately gets on the defense if someone asks her for her chocolates. She'll immediately hold the chocolates to her chest in a defensive manner, then she'll yell, "No, uh uh, no way! Not MY chocolates. You can have anything else--my money is in my room on the dresser, my jewelry you can have...take my shoes, but NOT my chocolates!" Then she'll run to the nearest room, lock herself in, and then eat her chocolates in peace. She won't come out until it is clear. For this, her friends pick on her and ask for her chocolates whenever they want a reaction out of her. She knows this, but at the same time, she cannot help but run wildly until she is sure that she has her chocolates to herself.

SooYee is very dramatic and funny. She is a prankster at heart and always has the need to prank her friends and even strangers. She believes that her pranks are very small and shouldn't cause a lot of fuss, but for some reason people get upset with her when she does them. It doesn't matter, though. She just likes to get a reaction out of her friends (since she is mainly the subject of her friends' pranks as well). She also has a bad habit of pranking her parents and some authority figures as well. Even her old high school teachers and principal weren't safe from her pranking. She loves to laugh and play around and because of this, her friends dubbed her as "Laughs Like Hyena" because of her husky yet addictive laugh. She doesn't mind though. Her laugh causes others to laugh as well. Also, being the dramatic one that she is, SooYee is sometimes just a little extra. Most people would just trip and fall - plain and simple. They'd get up and get over it. But not SooYee. Nope. If she falls, she twists her body in a strange way, grips her hair, and rolls constantly to shield her hair from connecting with the ground. By doing this, she causes unnecessary attention. But, her friends get a good laugh from her. Her friends joke, "Gosh, SooYee, we can't take you anywhere!" but they are never embarrassed by her because she just brings about a fun spirited vibe. There is never a dull moment when around SooYee. She is just always having fun and pulls others into her creativeness.

She definitely has flaws when it comes to her because no one is perfect. She is somewhat stubborn and hates admiting defeat because when she is wrong, she still has a hard time apologizing because she doesn't want to give anyone the satisfaction that they want. She is cranky when she wakes up and have a tendency to walk around the dorm and give people evil glares until she gets past her "sleepiness". She is very sarcastic and mimics others when they are talking because if she doesn't want to listen to it, then she won't. Plain and simple. She is somewhat hard-headed and has to be told more than once to stop doing something (only to do it again). She also doesn't really like to be touched by people that she doesn't know or like and she definitely has a really bad temper. However, she tries not to stray that way. She tries to remain positive and friendly, but everyone has a rough side to them.

Overall, SooYee is a very loud, crazy, wild, Chocolate loving, pranking, laughing, funny, creative wild child and she loves it.

It's My Life ♡

Background:

SooYee actually was raised in a very positive and nurturing household. Although her parents were of two very different cultures (her father is Hispanic traveling to Korea one year on business - and her mother is Korean) they instantly fell in love. What was supposed to be strictly a business trip blossomed into a beautiful romance. The two fell in love very quickly, even though there was also a failure of real communication. That didn't stop them, though. SooYee's father was scheduled to leave back to the United States in just a month--but they made sure to spend every moment together. When he was forced to leave, he made a promise to her that he would be back...she waited for him--and he didn't show up in a few months like he had promised. When she was about to turn around and go home (she was at the place where they first met - the park under a Cherry Blossom tree) she saw him running towards her and they embraced. He immediately fell to one knee and he popped the question in Korean. She was shocked and surprised, but she said yes! It didn't take long for SooYee and her twin Ahn Hee to be conceived. Her life was filled with love, creativity, fun, inspiration, and individuality! Her parents raised her to be the best woman that she could be and for her to be daring and wild (like they once where). They told her to never let anyone's words bring her down because when people were against them getting married--well, they did what THEY felt was right. SooYee was really inspired by her parents very much...

SooYee came from a very great childhood. Her parents encouraged her to express herself and also to do well in school. Their encouragement, however, was one of the things that led her to become the spontaneous, over the top girl that she is today. SooYee was a riot in school, always making the kids laugh and always getting into trouble, although her GPA remains at a 4.0, it wouldn't be known to those who are around her because of her wild behavior. Her parents thought that a change of scenery would help tone her down and moved to Seoul, Korea. There, SooYee was reunited with her cousin, SooYeon -- and her personality sky rocketed. Having the two Soo's together was a "mistake" because they both feed off of one another's energy and are definitely spontaneous and over bearing. Her parents love seeing them interact together since they hadn't seen each other since they were in middle school (they moved to Seoul when SooYee was entering high school). But, they sort of regret the decision to have them two together...(but they will never admit that).

Father: Julio Fernandez (Korean name is Kim Mino): 45: CEO of Furniture Company: He is very fun and sociable. Although he has a high status in society, he believes that he shouldn't let that cloud his judgement. He isn't stuck up about his success, either, and is very much humble. He loves being around his family and friends and will do anything for those that he cares about. : The relationship with SooYee and him is definitely a close one. They talk about anything and SooYee somewhat gets her personality from her father because they both joke and play around like little children. No matter how old he gets, he'll always remain childish around his family.

Mother: Kim Daeri: 44: Professional Photographer: She is very ambitious and dignified, although she has her moments where she just has to be loud and crazy. She is a free spirit and very much creative. She doesn't mind helping out those that are in need because she has a huge heart--one that can love any and everyone. : Her relationship with SooYee is definitely a great one because she is the type of mother to make sure that she is involved with her children's life.

 

Siblings:

Sister/Fraternal Twin: Kim Ahn Hee: 18: University student along with SooYee and SooYeon: She doesn't really talk to strangers much and she often times find herself being a little more reserved and quiet. Although, she definitely opens up around those that she's close to. She is very emotional and it's easy to prank her, which is why she is actually the subject of most of SooYee's pranks. She loves to smile and laugh although she has a horrible sense of humor-if the jokes on her, she isn't laughing. : She is close to her twin although they have their rough moments. They may argue and bicker but at the end of the day they are sisters and no one will mess with either one of them without a fight. Her Image

She doesn't take no for an answer and often times pursue's the things that she wants. Sure, she is sweet and fun to be around, but she has a temper. They are very much close and attached at the hip. SooYeon isn't just SooYee's cousin--she's her best friend. Cousin: Kim Heechul: 28: A member of Super Junior: He is very much serious and laid back. He sometimes has a hard exterior and only lets certain people into his world. He is somewhat self-centered and believes that things should go his way constantly. He believes that people should answer to him at all times and if someone doesn't do as he say, oh, he'll cut off contact with them. He is very much stubborn, but he is also loving and charismatic. He loves hanging out with those close to him, he loves reading and video games, and he is very close to his family. : He and SooYee are close. When he found out that she was going to be a trainee under SM and potentially debuting, he helped her and showed her the ropes of the entertainment company.

Kim HyoYeon: 24: Girls Generation: She is very funny and somewhat of a trouble maker because of her constant pranking and desire to get into a little something whenever she is bored. She loves to have fun and the aura that she brings whenever she is around others is a good one. Whenever someone is around her, they cannot help but fall into her sneaky, joking, free-spirited web. : HyoYeon was very much helpful to the trainees that she was around. She didn't mind helping them or giving them tips on how they could improve. But, she soon realized that SooYee and her were very much alike.

Lee Soonkyu (Sunny): 23: Girls Generation: She is definitely a beautiful girl and an aeygo queen. Sometimes it's unintentional. She definitely gets what she wants because of how she says and do things. She is very competitive and wants things her way at times. Although some fall for her tricks, SooYee doesn't. : Their relationship is a love/hate relationship because SooYee often times get on Sunny's nerves, and SooYee knows this, but because she knows that Sunny has a low tolerance at times, she picks at her more. However, Sunny admits that without having SooYee around, she wouldn't feel complete. SooYee is like a sister to her.

Kim Min Seok (Xiumin): 22: EXO-M: He is definitely fun to be around, loving, and is willing to help those in need. He is very compassionate and will do anything for those that he cares about. When he loves, he loves hard. But is often times shy around the woman that he likes. : They are very much comfortable around one another. He is, in fact, the ONLY guy that SooYee has ever been close to because she isn't really comfortable around them. However, there was something about Xiumin that made things different. She often calls him "Fat, Fat" to mess with him, but he doesn't mind. He only allows her to call him this. They have been friends since she became a trainee at SM Entertainment when she was fifteen and when he was nineteen. In fact, they were trainees together before he was finally allowed to debut and she's always been by his side, since.

Jung Krystal: 18: F(x): She is often times refered to as being cold and bitter, however, those close to her see her differently. She doesn't really like trainees or new individuals coming up in the company and often times are very rude to them (but she'll claim that she's only trying to help them out).

 

Reason for Being Your Rival:

It just so happens that even before Krystal became famous, SooYee and she went to the same high school and during that time, Krystal made it her business to torment SooYee because Krystal was the Queenka of the school. And, her feelings towards SooYee has never changed even though they're under the same company. It also makes things worse when she found out SooYee's crush with Xiumin because ever since she found that out, she has made it her goal to get in between the two.

(how they met three years ago)

Xiumin actually started off helping out the trainee's so that they could do extremely well in their auditions with the higher ups (he was a trainee at the time, as well, but had been training longer). However, for some reason, he took a liking to SooYee. Something about her dedication and determination to make it striked him as something to truly admire. One day, she asked him to help her practice her dance moves to perfect them (she's usually the last one out of the training room because of the need for her to do things right) and he accepted. When he touched her, even slightly, to move her in the right position, he felt fireworks immediately. He tensed up, but she just turned to him, their faces only inches apart, and smiled saying, "Oppa, what's wrong?" The word 'oppa' coming off of her lips...well...it was the most beautiful thing he'd ever heard. Ever since then, he has made an effort to talk to her and get to know her better. Even if he has a long, tiring schedule, he has to check up on her by text, voicemail, video call, or e-mail, to make sure that she is doing alright. He likes her loud, energetic, bubbly personality and whenever he is around her, he is extremely comfortable and he enjoys himself. There is no denying that there is chemistry between the two - but, for some reason, they are completely oblivious to each others' feelings.

SooYee was discovered once because she and her friends were walking around town shopping and on the speakers of one of the stores, one of their favorite songs came on and they just had to dance, rap, and sing to it. SooYee was the first to start dancing because she doesn't really mind acting bold in public and doing things in front of people. There was power in her dance moves and her vocals were amazing as well. She danced her heart out, finally getting her friends to join. They were so into the song and dance that they didn't even notice that a crowd had come around them and began cheering along to what they were doing. Only after they stopped dancing and high fiving one another, a SM representative happened to be in the crowd admiring SooYee's skills. He walked up to her and handed her his card saying that he enjoyed the show. He said that he hoped that he would see her soon at the office for her auditions and that she'd be a great trainee. He smiled and bid them all farewell. She didn't hesitate to get her cousin to audition with her. (she was scouted when she was 15)

Trainee life was somewhat hard for her. Being that she was so young, she was often mistreated because of the fact that she was scouted and allowed to become a trainee while the others had to audition. Although she was treated negatively, she used this as her motivation to strive forward and show the other trainees that it didn't matter how she became a trainee but more so about the fact that she was here because she wanted to make it. She was usually the first one in the training room and the last one out at night.
