style: On a regular basis, Yuki can be seen wearing an oversized batch of sweaters which usually falls towards her knees and slips a little past her knuckles. Extremely cold natured, she doesn't mind stares she gets for wearing clothes that look hot when it is warm outside. Other times she wears loose, baggy t-shirts, or dresses. She prefers wearing shorts and skirts as opposed to jeans. She doesn't quite think that her legs look good in jeans. She has a few jeans of varying colors and textures that she chooses as a last resort. Wears a green ribbon in her hair (which pulls a small portion of it into a slight bun with the rest hanging about her head). Wears various stud earrings in either ear and is obsessed with wearing bracelets and necklaces. on occasion, she wears blouses that she, herself, makes (which she is asked about quite often, yet pretends she doesn't know where she got it from because she only has inspiration to make clothes for herself or her Pokemon). Wears babydoll flats (often with cute ankle socks), and doesn't really like wearing heels unless necessary (but with her constant walking around, she barely touches them). Really, she dresses in a way that is most comfortable for her (and her comfortable maybe weird for others). extra: As stated above, she mainly wears her hair with a small portion of the right side of her hair up in a bun tied securely with a ribbon (often the ribbon is green, but it varies with her outfits...unless she still wears green). Her hair is quite lengthy, being down her back, and is greyish/brown in color. Silky to the touch, her hair rarely ever gets tangled (unless she doesn't wash it in quite some time). Huge amber-colored eyes (which are mistaken as contacts, but she begs to differ!) Has a few birthmarks in varying places (many of which are in places not meant to be seen - meaning covered up by her clothing). Extremely short, the girl has no choice but to stare up at people when she talks to them...even younger people! Slightly bo-legged when she walks, as well as pigeon toed (thus the reason she hates wearing jeans because it stands out more). A small nose, pouty lips, and pristine white, straight teeth.

{ Wandering Eyes: Absent-minded/Curious } - Yuki is one who always has her head in the clouds. She rarely thinks about what is going on around her in that moment because she is thinking about something quite far-fetched or not of that moment in time. Her mind constantly races in various directions. Though one minute she'd be thinking of a particular thing, she suddenly, and quite abruptly, thinks about something else. Because her mind is always racing and she has a difficult time focusing on something in the immediate setting, the girl is quite forgetful if the details of her thoughts aren't important enough to hold on to or remember. In the middle of a task, or in the middle of an action, she might just pause and wonder what the heck she was doing. In the middle of a conversation, she might suddenly question the one she was speaking to saying, "wait...where was I, again?" Yuki feels embarrassed when she forgets things in front of other people. She blushes, rubs her neck, and chuckles nervously. Being able to easily focus on other things, being able to easily forget certain things...it gets a little bothersome; but somehow she manages. She has for 16 years so far. But her wandering mind has, too, led to a curious nature. Whatever seems interesting enough to suddenly catch her attention, well, she suddenly stares blankly at it, or is intrigued by it (even if for a brief moment). Yuki enjoys finding new things that goes on around her. With a piqued interest, she knows that these are various reasonings as to why she can't quite focus. Even during school, teachers know not to let the forgetful/curious girl sit by the window (she'd focus on what is going on outside of the window, rather than what is going on inside the classroom). True enough, if something moves, her eyes dart to it. Quite a lot seems to interest the...curious nature in her. Complex to simple things, quite frankly. Insects crawling through the grass, bugs flying through the air, wind blowing against the trees, the amount of time it took for towns/regions to be built and connected via roads, canals, and other modes of transport, people's clothes, sudden sounds--whatever, you name it, she is suddenly interested by it. When the curiosity washes over her...she rarely ever can control it. Oddly enough, though, whattever she begins (because of her curiosity - such as an adventure, a hobby, gardening) she does NOT leave it unfinished. Video games, a new television show, a book, music she listens to--the girl refuses to leave such things as they are. She is compelled to complete it. 

{ Sudden Get-Away; Adventurous } - Being that Yuki has only been in her specific region for majority of her life (without being able to leave it because her parents didn't allow her to), she found adventure in places no one else would. On her farm, she liked to explore the whole lot of the land. Her parents own quite a huge portion of land which they transformed into a successful farm, and the girl always finds something interesting about it. Getting lost in a maze of cornstalks and trying to find her way out is adventurous. Walking alongside the small river that runs on the boarder of the land is quite adventurous (though she stops when it runs out of the town - she doesn't follow it past that point). Shoot, even completing her farm chores is adventurous to her (considering there is so much to do). She finds adventure in everything she does whether she does things the usual way, or tries to do things in a different way (to keep things a little interesting). With a girl who is intrigued by a lot, there is no surprise that even a simple walk is something of an adventure. And let the girls' father allow her to run some errands for him in town! She gets excited! Searching for Apricorns for Kurt leads to an adventure (because there are various Apricorn types). Imagine her excitement when she was allowed to go on a REAL adventure...to travel to different regions and explore the world while training Pokemon, earning badges, encountering new people, and catching Pokemon! (Oh boy!) She never realized there was so much to do OFF of the farm, so the girl likely dives first into any adventure she can begin. (No, she doesn't mind the lengthy walks, sudden detours, or anything of the like in regards to adventures; the world is way bigger than the farm she was so accustomed to). Let's bring on the adventure! 

{ In Your Presence; Shy/Timid/Awkward, perhaps } - What people don't immediately know about her is that she gets extremely shy and/or timid (and definitely awkward) around someone whom she has an interest in. Mind you, with how small her town was, many of the people she encountered there were much like her family, so she never really was able to acquire a...like...for them. So, on her travels (with being around the guy in which becomes her romantic interest), she suddenly becomes this awkward...mess. At times, she doesn't really know what to say or what to do around him (though she does blankly stare when she is sure no one is watching). She avoids ALL eye-contact because she doesn't want him to know of her feelings just by looking at her (since she believes that all you have to do is look into someone's eyes to know how they feel or potentially what they are thinking). She questions many of her actions and motives and tries to make sure she doesn't look like a complete fool. She goes from talking quite a bit, to only speaking when she is sure there needs to be something said from herself because she doesn't want to put her own foot in . She might laugh nervously in his presence, or completely stare at him whilst he talks with no response at all (either forgetting to speak, or so into her rushing thoughts that anything that comes out after that will be...completely at random). Someone please help her understand her own feelings... (haha)

{ To the Beautiful You; Hopeless Romantic } - Yes...it is surprising. The girl who gets shy in the presence of someone she likes is quite the romantic. She does believe in love and that it WILL come to her (and those around her) one day, but she doesn't really know how to help herself through the situation. Though she often thinks about all the things that those in a couple could do (long walks together, getting to know one another, holding hands, staring shyly at one another--though she has that part down--exchanging cheek kisses and often times stolen kisses, cuddles at night, piggy back rides); yeah...she thinks about all of those things. What person doesn't think of romance? Who doesn't sit there and wonder how they will fall in love, whether or not they will get married, and how their love-life will evolve? If someone tells her that they do not think about these things...well, she will have to HOPE that they open up to the idea of it, at least. Everyone deserves love and though people give love to their Pokemon, this love that she speaks of is...different... much, much different. 

{ Dare Not Bother; Heavy Sleeper, Easily Frustrated, Stubborn } - Many people have a trouble getting the girl up after a lengthy night's rest. No matter how early she sleeps, or how late she sleeps, there is always a challenge in the morning. Sleep is important to her, naps are important to her (though naps are less frequent on the journey with those she later groups with), so when she doesn't get it...well, she definitely gets upset. The girl can sleep through anything; loud noises, constant shaking/hitting, screaming into her ears, and being carried away. Being woken up is a miracle and a relief to others. How she sleeps so heavily, how she is able to ignore everything is a mystery. Don't bother her too much, though, because when she wakes up...she attacks (not intentionally, but...) Easily frustrated, the girl gets upset with either herself or others though she doesn't want to admit it. When she is upset with herself, it is because she is either being too shy, too nice, or too forgetful. With others, it is because they underestimate her, don't consider her thoughts, feelings, or ideas, and doesn't ask her for her opinion on things (since she can easily be overlooked). She definitely doesn't like when people treat her like a child. Yes, she is 16 years old, but NO she is NOT a child. She has done so much field work, traveled quite a long distance, and at least seemingly mastered grass-based Pokemon; a child cannot do such a thing. One knows when she is frustrated. She might deny that she is, but when she bites her bottom lip, furrows her eyebrows, cross her arm, or abruptly goes silent after a disagreement or something...people know. Who goes to her and tries to cheer her up, though, depends (it could be a love interest, or someone who becomes a close friend of hers on her travels). Yuki is stubborn, too. She doesn't like to be seen as someone who doesn't know what to do or how to do it. She will NOT ask for help with something unless she desperately needs to. She will struggle quite a bit before accepting assistance if offered (though she would attempt to turn it down). Her ideas, she doesn't want them to go unheard. Stubbornly she will make her words known and if someone doesn't want to hear it, then...yeah, frustration, you're welcome. If she enjoys a place on their travels, she'll stubbornly want to stay even if for a few more moments (if everyone attempts to leave her, she immediately chases after them and remains silent for a bit until she stops being upset). The girl just...yeah, she has her ways at times; but her ways are her charm. 

{ Summary; Let's tie it all Together } - All in all, the girl is someone who can go from zero to ten in a moment (depending on what goes on around her. She speaks calmly, acts calmly, yet unless provoked can become a bit...upset, though she doesn't like taking it out on people. She struggles with keeping her attention locked on something because her mind is ever moving and curious about her surroundings and the adventures she will take. Shy around those she likes (romantic interest), she only wishes that she can be romantic with them one day and not be so shy or awkward in their presence. And oddly enough, the girl has a hard time waking up, keeping her frustrations to herself, or controlling her stubborness. Yet, people should enjoy her company, right? She's just a 16 year old girl (not child) who wants to know more about the world and indulge in it.

Likes:

- Outdoors: she grew up on a farm, she does much of the outdoor work, she enjoys it extremely so.

- Water: she knows she has to stay hydrated, and much like plants, grass-based Pokemon, and humans in general, they need water to survive. She doesn't drink juice or soda; only water, tea, and milk, and between the three, she loves water the most.

- Sweaters: comfy, cozy, warm...oh, so warm. She loves this essential wardrobe must-have. Without it, she'll surely freeze to death. Whoever invented sweaters deserve a metal.

- Grass-based Pokemon: the outdoors is what she has in common with the creatures (that and water), and she feels connected with them since most of her life has been outdoors. Nature, flowers, gardening, and grass-based Pokemon are desired by her.

- Nice Eyes: eyes are the window to the soul. She can look into someone's eyes and know that they are a good person.

- Fashion: she likes making clothes, wearing clothes, and looking at clothes. Fashion is something she wants to involve herself with in the long-run. She wants to potentially be able to support her family from being in the fashion industry.

- Socks: she has various types and textures of socks; they keep her feet warm and feel nice on her toes.

- Cheesecake:  yum...just...just utterly delicious.

- Green/Yellow: these are her two favorite colors, though she wears Yellow more than she does with Green.

Dislikes:

- Confrontation: she doesn't like when people argue or are upset with each other. She tries to avoid such things (especially amongst her friends) at all times.

- Bitter Smells/Foul Tastes: her nose is sensitive (she DOES live on a farm), and she doesn't like eating anything...disgusting (though she might not know from how it looks). Just...it's a struggle for her, so she enjoys something sweet and smells that are nicely.

- Being seen as a Child: she's been through so much and done so much...just don't treat her like she is incompetent.

- Being Woken: she loves her sleep...just give her a few more minutes, please?

- Being Cold: she gets cold easily and struggles during colder climates more than others around her.

- Being Dirty: she does enjoy taking baths. Baths are good....baths are good.

- Being Homesick: she likes her journey that she is on...yet she misses home. Though she does, she tries not to be too homesick and writes as much as she can in her diary so that she can tell her family of her adventures when she gets home one day.

- Feet: she doesn't like when people's feet are near her or touching her (unless they are wearing socks). She doesn't even like her younger siblings' feet (though they do have cute feet).


Random Facts:

- Her partner Pokemon is Roserade (female). The two met when Yuki was 12 and curious as to what exactly was eating away at the crops on her family farm. Going out to investigate one late afternoon, she heard shuffling near the stalks of corn and made her way towards the sound. Seeing the Pokemon startled her, in which she screamed which startled the Pokemon. Being frightened suddenly, the then Budew unleashed a defensive poison, which made her fall gravely ill. In search for her (considering she took so long during investigation), her younger sister found her knocked out on the ground, pale. Calling for help, the family came and tried to revive her, but nothing seemed to work out. It confused them that she would fall ill suddenly, and it moreso confused them that a Pokemon stayed by her side (even if they didn't allow it to come in the house, it always found a way inside). Feeling bad, the Budew inched towards her one night and healed her with its Natural Cure. From then on, the two have been joined at the hip. Through the exposure to sunlight, and pure happiness from being around her and the farm, Budew evolved into Roselia then Roserade with the use of a Shiny Stone (which she dug up when she was planting a few seeds). She doesn't go anywhere without her partner Pokemon. Roserade (which she nicknames Rose) is a stubborn Pokemon who often gets upset when Yuki finds another Pokemon and allows it to come with them (it is rare when Roserade agrees to Yuki catching them). She sticks to Yuki's side and is defensive of her. Quite frankly, no one else can honestly get the Pokemon to listen to them (only Yuki), and Roserade has a hard time being around other Pokemon without getting into a minor altercation with them.  

- Riolu came about when Yuki was traveling into town on errands for her father. The Pokemon was having an obvious conflict with another one of its kind (while others alike it was surrounding, watching it all unfold). Whether or not he'd been shunned from the group, or was the weakest link, the poor Pokemon was then abandoned by the group as she and Roserade looked on. Approaching the saddened creature, she sat near him and spoke calmly and briefly to him. She then asked him would he prefer, instead, to travel with her until he found a place where he belonged (though she didn't know that he'd later indicate that his place was with her). With him agreeing, she captured him in a Poke-ball and continued on with her errands. Luckily for her, Roserade agreed (quite cheerfully) that it was a good idea to allow the Riolu to travel with them for the time being. Riolu (nicknamed either Lu or Rio), is shy around other Pokemon for fear of being rejected. Extremely close to Roserade and favors her over any other Pokemon. 

- Was born having trouble seeing in the dark, even though her parents tried to have it corrected, nothing much could be done, thus she doesn't do much when it gets too dark.

- Sleeps with socks on because no matter how many blankets she uses, her toes get extremely cold.

- Gets cold quite easily, thus she is always wearing sweaters and socks. That doesn't stop her from enjoying the winter season (because the snow looks beautiful, though it does sadden her when the greenary disappears during this time).

- Crafts her own sweaters, socks, and scarves. She only makes these items for herself, a small shirt for Roserade and Riolu, and her romantic interest (on a special occasion).

- Her favorite food is cheesecake. If she could, she'd eat it on the regular.

- Knows how to cook various dishes from scratch with fresh crops, and though she cooks a lot (she usually was the one who cooked the most when she was home), she does NOT know how to make cheesecake. Terrible, right?!

- Her favorite color to wear is yellow, and her favorite color, period, is green (but doesn't think she looks good in the color; she wears it, but doesn't think it looks as good on her as yellow does).

- Has two younger siblings. A younger sister name Yuna, and a younger brother name Yurro (Yuna and Yurro are twins; both are ten years old now).

- Walks on tip toes when barefoot. She doesn't want the soles of her feet to get dirty when she isn't wearing socks.

- Was extremely close to Kurt from her town. He was quite known in the town for his custom Poke-balls, but Yuki interacted with him constantly. In exchange of her finding apricorns (around town or on and around her farm) for him, he makes extra Poke-balls for her. It usually wows people when they see her in possession of them, for Kurt's creations are spectacular to those who catch Pokemon.

- Extremely drowsy (and quite often). She enjoys taking naps, taking a break from traveling (much to the dismay of others), and sleeping for long hours (the one who everyone struggles to awaken in the morning). Sleep...she loves it as much as cheesecake, the color green, plants, grass-based Pokemon, and her romantic interest.

- Carries a diary on her travels. Her parents specifically told her to document her travels in that diary or else not travel at all. She also uses it to talk about whatever pops into her mind.

- Wants to get married by the time she is 23 years old and have children by the time she is 25.

- Has a hard time looking her romantic interest in the eyes (this only began when she realized she liked him more than just a friend).

- Has a habit of sleep-talking and sleep-walking.

how they met/meet: The two meet on their different journey's into the same town and region. Yuki overheard him attempting to catch a grass-based Pokemon, yet was having difficulty doing so. Being that she favors grass-based Pokemon, she offered to help. Taken aback by the strange, short girl who popped out of nowhere, he accepts her offer and the two went into the nearby brush to locate the whereabouts of the Pokemon. When they find it, the excited girl is able to identify the Pokemon (one she has been on the lookout for for quite some time) much to the surprise of the guy. Based on how excited she is, how much she knows the Pokemon, and how she mentioned (randomly) how she loves grass-based Pokemon, he offers to allow her to catch the Pokemon instead of himself. Thanking him, she suddenly rushed towards him and hugged him quickly. Not noticing how awkward it may have seemed to him, she released him and quickly caught the Pokemon (after getting its permission of being caught). From that point on, the girl traveled with him; not that she complained one bit. 

interaction: Their interaction usually consists of Yuki aimlessly following (closely) behind him which often leads to her bumping into his back and making up some type of excuse as to why she made contact with him (either she claims that her Pokemon needed her attention, she suddenly began walking too fast, she was distracted with the scenery surrounding them, or because he had something on his back that she was trying to inspect but got too close to doing so). When around him, she cannot help but become a confused jumble of nerves. She laughs at all of his jokes, she tries to sit close to him whenever they stop and eat lunch, she makes any attempt to assist him in anything he decides to do, and she doesn't go to sleep at night (on their travels) unless she knows that he, too, is on the verge of sleep (in case he doesn't try to sleep much, in which she advises him that it's best he rest and not waste the opportunity to sleep). Hasn't really crafted anything for anyone else, and decided that she'd knit him a sweater (for those colder climates). Though they might have had a difficult time interacting with one another in the beginning, the two are able to speak comfortably (eventually)....well, at least on Yuki's part (because she tends to be nervous around him...or shy).

preferred type: She prefers grass-based Pokemon (considering she came from a plant region, and is always on the farm). Any chance she gets she tries to catch them and train them enough so that they can master their craft. Aside from being "obsessed" with grass-based Pokemon, she only catches other Pokemon if she feels a special "connection" with them upon initial encounter.

- Though she is still a novice, with her constantly choosing to catch and keep grass-based Pokemon, she has a special talent with working with that particular type of Pokemon. Not saying she knows everything there is to know about them, but she knows enough through handling them the most. Any other type, she has to either ask for assistance with training them, or just be completely clueless.

ambition: It might be odd, but Yuki doesn't mind having her own farm whenever she gets older and gets her own place. She enjoys the outdoors, tending to crops, and just being able to produce her own food which she can cook with or sell for a bit of money. She doesn't need a huge one (like her family has), just big enough to sustain life. At her farm, instead of having farm-animals (she will have a cow and a few chickens, though; she needs fresh milk and eggs), she wants to have the Pokemon of her choosing (grass-based of course...and Riolu) to stay on the farm with her. She also wants to continue crafting clothes and eventually selling them to market. Who knows, she might end up getting recognition in other regions for her clothes (people tend to ask her about her own creations at the moment, but she dares not tell them she crafted the clothes). She might go by a different alias once she becomes a designer (the name of the clothing line, or her alias, she doesn't know yet. Maybe she will find out during her travels). And, lastly, in the long run, she wants to settle down with a husband who loves her for her, and have two children (maybe a boy and a girl...or two boys). These are just a few things running through her mind...
