Personality

Soon-Bok is quite calm, despite the occurrences in her life. She takes things in stride. Often times, she doesn't necessarily question what is happening, but tends to go with the flow of things. Sometimes she feel as though certain things in life she cannot control, and though she inwardly wishes she could make a difference, or change a course of events, she figures that, until presented the opportunity, she does not do so. With a small frame and stature, people would be surprised to hear a loud, booming voice coming from her; luckily, though, they have nothing to worry about because she is, indeed, soft-spoken. Her voice rarely reaches a higher octave, even if she does get upset. The only times she's been "loud" per say, is when she is called and she responds with an "I'm coming!"

She is, also, careful and takes her time. When she walks, it is in slow, fluent movements. Any task she performs, it is with care and precision. She thoroughly thinks things through when it comes to what she is doing and even how she responds. Though she doesn't like to be rude, she takes time with what she is going to say, which may be longer than what someone would hope for. Soon-Bok often times, too, does not respond at all, and simply looks and/or stares at the person or away. Some things are better left unsaid, and other things are meant to be ignored (especially with the people she was around constantly growing up).

It may be one of her biggest downfalls, but she definitely sacrifices a lot for others. Her own happiness, her own belongings; she tries to be nice. Even if she wants to protest, she would give the shirt off of her own back just to make sure someone else is well-taken care of. Whether it be human, or animal. She is very much selfless. She understands going without, or having nothing, so she feels bad if she does not sacrifice something of her own.

History

Soon-Bok doesn't necessarily know where her origins stem from. She does, however, know that for quite some time, she was on her own. Her earliest memory came from which she recalled sitting on a log near a small lake in the forest. She believes she was about four or five at the time. She doesn't know why she was there, or how long she'd been in that location, but she knows that around the age of seven, she was found by a group of campers and sent to the closest orphanage out in the countryside. There, she had a few bitter-sweet moments. The small bit of happiness to finally be around others, yet the discomfort she felt from them as well. She watched, one-by-one, as the people she'd been around for her duration there were adopted, taken from the orphange, or growing too old to be able to live there anymore. She waited for her chance to be adopted, yet she was not. It was okay, though. She was fine with not being adopted. No one wanted her. She wasn't as personable as everyone else. She likes being alone sometimes; much of which would cause the young girl to wander into the forest for a small bit of tranquility. The orphanage kids would often mock her, saying she belonged amongst the animals, but their words didn't get to her. She didn't care. Some of it might have had truth behind it. Is that why she was in the forest when she was younger? Is that why she felt calm whenever she was surrounded by animals? It was as though...she could understand them, and they could understand her. But was that even possible?

As she got older, she began to get strange urges and feelings that would lead her deeper, and deeper into the woods. The animals would watch over her, protect her as she did for them as well. The deeper she got into certain parts of the woods, an odd aura would fall about her. She'd feel...like a completely different person. She didn't want to leave the forest. In fact...her future goals was to be able to have a house built amongst the trees, so that one day she could stay in the forest forever. But there had to be something that was attracting her deeper...?

Perhaps it was an alternative world...?

The world of the Fee...
