Personality: 

SooYee is fun to be around and very much spontaneous. She always does things for a laugh and she loves to brighten up a dull moment with her jokes. Sometimes what she has to say is a little too blunt or inappropriate, but, she doesn't mean it in any type of way. She is very sarcastic and straight forward--quick to tell one how she feels without thinking about it. She is very much demanding and may come across as being too bossy, but she doesn't mean to do it in a horrible manner. She is very curious about her surroundings and observant. She learns by observing and this is a strong side of her. Once she befriends someone, she is very dependable, compassionate, loving, and caring.

SooYee is also very sappy and romantic, being called "Soomance" by her best friends because of her obsession with finding Mr. Right. She believes that one day, the right guy will come along and sweep her off of her feet. She has molded the perfect guy from many different romance novels, mangas, and dramas. It isn't as though other girls haven't thought about this, it's just that she hopes to one day meet the man of her dreams...she believes that someone has to have some sort of standards or else they will end up with the wrong person...She is completely afraid of giving her whole heart to someone unworthy because she is quick to fall in love or trust easily.

SooYee is very much a Choco-holic because of her fascination and love for chocolates--sweet, delicious, chocolates. She always has to have a stash on her because her chocolates is like her alcohol. She will share any and everything with her friends and those close to her EXCEPT her chocolates because...well...if she shares with one person, she'll have to share with everyone. And sharing chocolates is NOT something on her "to do" list. If asked for her chocolates, she will hold them close to her chest and yell, "NO, uh uh, no way! Not MY chocolates. Go and get your own!" then she will retreat to the nearest room and lock herself in to enjoy her sweets to herself.

Being that SooYee is spontaneous, she has a character about herself that makes people wonder, "where are her parents?" and "why aren't they doing anything about her behavior?" but, she just doesn't care what others have to say about her. She lives in the moment and is quick to jump head first into something. SooYee believes that things being planned at the last minute is more fun and exciting than planning for a long time. She is often disappearing and returning after long hours because she is exploring. SooYee is so bold and spontaneous that one time, her friends were stunned by her courage in a department store. SooYee and her friends were walking around the mall and they were all carrying dolls that they had just purchased. SooYee took this time to run to many different strangers and asking them "Have you seen my baby's father?! Are you my baby's father?! I need to find him!" Her friends was shocked. She is also very quick to walk on her hands (handstands, anyone?) jump ontop of a table and dance, or even go up to random strangers and say some of the craziest things.

SooYee will do any and everything for those that she cares about. She is quick to defend and quick to get frustrated or angry over things that people say about her friends or group members. She doesn't care what others say about her, but talk bad about her friends and there will be hell to pay...

Overall, she is a very bold, courages, straight-forward, loving, adventurous, spontaneous wild child.

 

History:

SooYee came from a very great childhood. Her parents encouraged her to express herself and also to do well in school. Their encouragement, however, was one of the things that led her to become the spontaneous, over the top girl that she is today. SooYee was a riot in school, always making the kids laugh and always getting into trouble, although her GPA remains at a 4.0, it wouldn't be known to those who are around her because of her wild behavior. Her parents thought that a change of scenery would help tone her down and moved a few hours away to Seoul, Korea. There, SooYee was reunited with her older cousin, SooYeon -- and her personality sky rocketed. Having the two Soo's together was a "mistake" because they both feed off of one anothers' energy and are definitely spontaneous and over bearing. Her parents love seeing them interact together since they hadn't seen each other since they were in middle school (they moved to Seoul when SooYee was entering high school). But, they sort of regret the decision to have them two together...(but they will never admit that).

She often times tell him her inner most secret thoughts - and she normally threatens him (in a funny, playful way) to never tell anyone...

Reason for rivalry:

Hyerin is a fellow trainee under SM. She has this attitude about her that she is the "perfect package" and that she should debut first before any of the others. She is very conceited and y and often complains a lot. She doesn't like SooYee because she believes that she is clearly the better choice for being chosen. She doesn't like how SooYee acts and often times has to tell her what she thinks. SooYee shrugges it off because she doesn't like to be confrontational. She also happens to like Eunhyuk and tries to come between the friendship that SooYee and he has...

Love Interest: Eunhyuk of Super Junior (oh, the irony, right)

How do you two act around eachother?: They actually became friends during SooYee's trainee days. He immediately took a liking to her fun, hilarious, bold, outgoing, loud personality because he believed that they are very much like one another. He befriended her and they always happen to hang out in their spare time. He is very over protective of her and finds himself getting upset with guys try to talk to her or get to know her a little better. He doesn't quite understand why he feels that way since they are just friends...right? He often thinks about her and his group members happen to know that he likes her - it's written all over his face whenever he sees her, talks about her, or texts her. SooYee is very close to him and she looks upon him as the brother that she never had...but, recently, she suddenly has...feelings for him. She has never really liked a guy and is confused by her feelings. Does she like him or is she just confused? But, everyone else knows she likes him...

 

What is your relationship?: He is the first one she thinks about whenever she wakes up and the last one she thinks about before she goes to bed. She always has this goal to make him smile or laugh and whenever she does--she feels as though she has accomplished something...

They keep in contact via video calls whenever they cannot see one another (because of his busy schedule as an idol and her busy schedule as a trainee). She also texts him and he returns the favor. But, whenever they have free time, they are quick to rush to one anothers' side to hang out, joke around, and stare at one another when they THINK that the other doesn't notice...
