Xiaoyu is a really adventurous and outgoing girl. She isn't afraid to act crazy and wild in public because she is only being herself. She isn't afraid to jump on tables and dance around. She doesn't really mind or matter what others have to say about her because at the end of the day, they do not validate the type of person that she is. She could care less about the statements that others have to say about her because she is comfortable in her own skin. She loves to laugh and laughs, sometimes at the most random things. She has a weird sense of humor and if someone looks at her right in the eyes and say, "Pudding" she'll definitely go off in a fit of laughter. It's sometimes uncontrollable. Because of her husky, yet addictive laugh, she has been dubbed "Laughs Like Hyena" by her closet friends. That nickname is the only thing that bothers her because she thinks that they are trying to say that she looks like a Hyena. But, even still, she knows that once her friends say something--it usually sticks.
She is very flirty and girly. She isn't afraid to tell a guy what she thinks of him and she is quick to fall for a guy. She has definitely gotten her heart broken in the past because of her quick loving self. She has learned, though, to shield herself because some might take that as her major weakness and could be quick to use her--but she tries to keep herself from falling for a guys' charms. She cannot help it, though, when she looks at a guy because she immediately has an urge to introduce herself and befriend him right away. Some people might call her names and critisize her because of her easy ability to make guy friends--but, she doesn't care because she knows the truth. She isn't easy and will be quick to set that straight.
She is also very goofy and loud. She does things to make others laugh and has been voted class clown when she was in high school because of her crazy antics and ways. She was quick to prank teachers and even the principal. She just did things whenever she was bored or whenever she wanted to laugh--which was usually all of the time. When things go wrong, she is usually the one pin-pointed as the culprit because people have become used to her being the guilty one. Being that she is loud, she does not have a problem with voicing her opinion and letting people know how she feels at that very moment. She bites her tongue for no one and will easily put someone in their place if they need to be there. Although she has a slight temper (when provoked) she actually hates confrontation and tries to avoid it.
Short history:
Xiaoyu was born in Seoul, Korea but people thought that it was weird that she has a Chinese name. Her mother actually is very much fond of the Chinese culture and regularly take trips to Hong Kong with Xiaoyu to get her to be a little more open-minded about the world. Because of this constant traveling, Xiaoyu actually loves to do so. She likes going to different locations and learning about them. However, she is very much dignified about her Korean roots. She believes that maybe her mother had a past love before she met her father (possibly with a Chinese man) and maybe her mother travels to China constantly in hopes of bumping into that old flame again.
Basically, Xiaoyu has had a very weird and crazy childhood because her mother is somewhat immature and acts as though she is fascinated by any and everything -- dragging Xiaoyu along with her on her adventures.

Fear factor: It usually takes a lot for Xiaoyu to become spooked - however , if she sees blood, she instantly turns pale and nearly faints because blood is just . . . gross . this is one of the main reasons why she doesn't watch horror movies . Also , whenever brought to the point of being scared , she clings to the person close to her and buries her face in their chest while she holds back tears .

Xiumin is her romantic interest ; Kris is her friend ; Lay - it's a love/hate relationship.
Xiumin is very funny and can make Xiaoyu laugh. She loves to laugh and if a guy can make her do that--she is sold. He is very sweet and kind to her and she is sort of afraid to admit that she likes him because of the rocky past that she has had with guys. She believes that he doesn't like her, anyways, and that she is silly for even thinking of him that way. She isn't really shy around him, but, once she realized that she likes him--it's hard for her to look him straight in the eyes without feeling some type of way.
Kris has been a friend to Xiaoyu for nearly two years. She is very much comforable around him and he is almost like a brother to her. She can tell him anything without feeling like she is being judged and she likes that about him. He is funny and kind and is easily annoyed which makes him the focus point of many of her pranks.
Lay -- oh boy! Lay is so annoying to Xiaoyu that she cannot stand him. He always has the need to pick on her and . Every time she is around him, he has something to say to her. He was the one who started "Laughs like Hyena" and "Honey Legs" <-- because she is bo-legged , and she does not like that about him . But , at the same time, she finds that it is hard to stay away from him.
