If You Want To Rant....

If ya want to rant about how certain author's write certain stories...it's just a HUGE waste of time in my opinion; to make an actual STORY OF RANTS about how certain author's write><

I don't mind constructive criticism, but ranting and raving about certain author's is NOT helping them improve in my opinion. You're bringing some of them down rather then bringing them UP. Some people have a problem with flashbacks, POV's or first person stories, reader inserts, etc...are the author's forcing you to read that stuff?

Okay I guess this makes me sound...hypocritical in a way and I apologize. But see for me I have a little more common sense; I just don't read that stuff. It annoy's me when I see rant story's, but that's why I don't click on them because I don't like them.

You brought it on yourself by reading it if you didn't like it man, don't go blaming the author.

If you don't like something; don't read it. I'm sick of seeing these stories that are nothing but rants, rants, rants. THAT'S WHAT BLOGS ARE FOR.

I'm sorry if I offend anyone T.T

But this stuff just...frustrates me. This is a fanfiction site where were all supposed to have fun, make new friends, and share our love for writing and K-Pop, J-Pop, whatever isn't it? Not a hateful site :(

Me too. I'm a softy I guess, so I have a hard time taking harsh reviews ^^; I don't want them to sugar coat anything; but I don't want them to rip me to shreads you know?

Agreed! I personally like trying to guess what a character's name is so '____' blanks don't bother me one bit, if you have a good imagination you can EASILY think of a name for the character right?

They aren't breaking the site rules, so why are people complaining about reader inserts?

Don't like them? Ignore it and move on XD

If they story is all written in chat speak then no, I will not read it sorry to say >.> But we all make grammar error's every now and then. I do try to edit the spelling though before I post a chapter ^^;

I've gotten reviews like that, where they deduced my story for misplaced puncuation for every chapter ^^; It did help me though.

Yeah me neither, I don't mind constructive criticism but I think some people are confused with that thinking if you give constructive criticism it's okay to tell the author 'they and need to stop writing'

...You don't have to be RUDE when you give criticism XD Just say it nicely and people will respond to you; if someone's rude to me then I-I don't know, I get so upset with what they said and just ignore them.

Yeah I mean really...flashbacks are irrelevant to a story? For the love of all that is holy; HOW ARE FLASHBACKS IRRELEVANT TO THE STORY?

I'm cool with flashbacks :) I don't know what this particular author's problem is the one that said that...but where are they getting info that 'flashbacks are terrible'?

Phew I thought I'd get a lot of hate, for writing this ^^; That's why I don't read them anymore though; because if I don't like something...I don't read it. Simple as that.

They have the right to complain that's true, but they should tell author's they aren't good at writing in a NICER way but not sugar coating anything you know?

You are right . They shouldn;t do that. Everyone has their own writtin style so we can't judge
