Behind This Mask

Personality:

SooYee is very much a wild child and very spontaneous. She is bold, quick to do things without listening to what anyone has to comment on. She is more "spur of the moment". She does things for the heck of it because she loves to have fun in life. There is never a dull moment when one is around her. Her boldness is hilarious and she does things that one wouldn't imagine to do in public. For example, once, when she and her friends were at a department store, she grabbed a baby doll off of the rack and ran around saying, "Are you my baby's father? I need to find where my baby daddy is!" She didn't care about the dirty looks or whispers that she got. At the end of the day, she had her fun. She also has this tendency to hula hoop whenever she is in a department store and walk down the aisle with it. She just doesn't mind. She isn't afraid to walk on both hands and be different--she is just "Soo Spontaneous".

SooYee is very much sappy and romantic. Always watching romance dramas and reading romance mangas and novels because she wants to one day find real love and be happily in love! She has this picture perfect idea about her ideal type. Some might say that she is obsessed with it--but...again, she just doesn't mind. She knows that all girls think about these types of things, not just her. Her ideal type come from all of the novels she read and the dramas that she has watched--hoping that one day, her prince charming will show up and sweep her off of her feet. She is very caring and compassionate--always doing things for others before she does so for herself. She will nearly bend over backwards for someone else. She will cook for someone, feed someone, care for someone, console someone, and joke around with someone in order to life their spirits up.

SooYee has a weird sense of humor. Some things that she says will either offend or make people wonder why she said that. She is goofy and silly and never afraid to show it. She may say some lame things, and sometimes when people laugh at her, they laugh because of her lameness , not because she is actually funny. However, she does things to make people smile. She is a jokester and prankster and she always gets a reaction out of someone. She'll get up on a public table and do a dance to stand out or she'll walk backwards just because she "dares to be different". She doesn't crave attention, she just does things to make her close friends laugh and smile. She also has a very husky and addictive laugh, which is why she is known as "Laughs like Hyena". She has an uncontrollable laugh when something is seriously funny. She is just very much silly.

Lastly, SooYee is definitely a choco-holic. She admits that. She always has to have some chocolates around her because chocolates, to her, is like alcohol. She needs some in order to function. If SooYee doesn't know anything or if she cannot tell you anything else--she KNOWS her chocolates. She has tasted every piece of chocolate there is to taste. If someone has some chocolates, she can immediately tell them what kind they have by the smell and the package, and also she can tell you what the chocolate contains. She is willing to share any and everything with anyone--BUT her chocolates. If asked for a piece, she immediately gets defensive. She holds the chocolates to her chest and screams, "Nope! Not my chocolates--have anything else of mine BUT these. Take my purse, my money, my wallet--but NOT my chocolates!" Then she retreats to the nearest room to eat her candy in peace...

Overall, SooYee is a very loving, caring, sappy, romantic, hyena-laughing, smiley, goofy, spontaneous, choco-holic wild child.

My Background

History:

SooYee was born and raised in Goldsboro, North Carolina, in the place where there was really nothing to do. Because of this, she became adventurous, always doing things to create her own fun. She went out in the neighborhood, going on adventures and getting messy. She never sat in one place and didn't need money in order for her to have fun. Her parents tried to convince her to be more "lady like" and remain clean and dignified, but, she just didn't want to be "normal". She hated being bored and felt as though sitting down and acting like a "lady" was so boring! Her parents tried their best to change her ways, but there was no way she was going to do that. Her parents were strict and business savy and believed that they had a reputation to maintain because they did not want their only child to ruin their image. So, without hesitation, when SooYee was fifteen, they sent her overseas to Korea to live with her relatives. There, SooYee blossomed and experienced her Korean Heritage. She enjoyed it very much. She still misses America, but travels every so often in order to see her judgemental family. She hopes that her parents ease up on her, but what's life without a little fun?

How would you react to the same asking you out?

Oh wow. *Laughs slightly* Well, I am completely straight, but I would definitely be flattered that I am beautiful to both males and females. However, I will politely let them know that I am straight...

 

How would you react to the opposite asking you out?

It definitely depends on who asks me out. I do not go around saying yes to anyone that comes up to me. (not saying that everyone asks me out--and I'm not saying that no one asks me out)...oh dear...if I really like them...I would say yes...but I have to know them and I have to like them.

 

Are you more of a lover or a fighter?

I am definitely a lover--but, I have definitely gotten into a few quarrels as a child. However, I do not like agression or like fighting. It doesn't suit my personality. I am known for smiles and love...and chocolates...

 

Do you believe there is evil in everyone?

I believe that men and women are capable of evil, however, I do not like assuming the worst whenever I meet someone. No one has really given me a legitimate reason for me to dislike them.

 

When I say 'death' what is the first thing that pops into your mind?

*face turns pale* Death is inevitable. With life, comes death--it is known. People live to die, and in the end, die to live. However, I hate thinking about losing someone to death...I do not like thinking about it...losing someone close to me...it will just hurt me mentally and emotionally...I am not afraid of death because I know that everyone is bound to die, but...I live life like it is my last.
