Personality:

Qiao is a really adventurous and funny girl. She is very bold, not really shying away from any challenge that she is faced with. She is very blunt and sarcastic, sometimes being told that she is cold, but, at the same time, she just doesn't feel the need to hold her tongue. She loves to laugh and smile--it's like some of the best qualities that she has about herself. She loves making others smile with her crazy antics and that's what makes her day. She is very spontaneous and a little crazy. Qiao once walked around a department store with her friends, holding a doll baby in her arms running around asking different people, "Are you my baby daddy!? My baby needs its baby daddy!" Her friends were shocked at her courage. She doesn't mind being silly and that's something that makes her very memorable.

Qiao is definitely a little trouble-maker, too. Always doing things for the heck of it and also just to get a reaction out of people. She is very sarcastic. Sometimes, she says things that offend others, but she does not mean it at all. She just has a weird sense of humor. Qiao is also a fashionista. She loves bright, vibrant colors. She loves throwing pieces together just to make them work--she never repeats an outfit and she is very passionate about whatever it is that she is doing. Qiao definitely has an attitude, but who doesn't? She has never held her tongue for anyone and when provoked, she can be a little dangerous. She usually fusses first then ask questions later. She is stubborn, too. If she does something that she knew was wrong, it usually takes awhile for her to apologize because she hates apologizing and looking weak. However, she is a kind hearted person and hates when others are upset with her--she just has her ways about her that makes her...Qiao.

She is also known as a Choco-holic because of her love for the sweet, delicious little treats. She does NOT like to share her chocolates with anyone--not even those close to her. She has tasted every chocolate that is known to man and she immediately knows what kind of chocolates someone has based on the packaging and the smell. (weird, huh?). If asked for a piece of her chocolates she will hold them closely to her chest and scream, "No, uh uh! Not my chocolates! Go get your own! Stay away!" Then she'll retreat to the nearest room and lock herself in for fear that she will be robbed of her chocolatey goodness...

Background History:

-Dao Qiao came from the traditional Chinese background. Once her mother moved from her Korean roots and found love in China, she wanted her daughter to really get a taste of the Chinese culture more because she loved the atmosphere and the civilization there. Qiao's mother met and married Qiao's Chinese father and settled comfortably into the community. It was there, long after Qiao was born, that her mother realized her husband's addiction to and heroine. For five long years he robbed her of her money to feed his addiction, never getting any better and plunging her into bankruptcy. After working hard and trying to gain her life back, she realized that moving to China had been a big mistake. She divorced Qiao's father and moved back in with her mother's hoping to salvage her broken wallet and earn her self-respect back. She realized that she never should have depended on a man to provide and care for her when he could be ruining their life. After that, Qiao's mother raised her to be an independent woman who went after the things that she wants in order to provide for herself without being held back and taken advantage of.

Ghost Encounters:

When Qiao was only ten and had just moved back from China to Seoul, Korea, her mother moved them into a two bedroom apartment which contained an upstairs. Her mother decided to allow Qiao to sleep on the top floor. Qiao was excited to have her own room and to sleep away from her mother. It had only been a few weeks that they lived there when strange things started happening. Lights would flicker back one, objects would appear in random areas, and Qiao would have random scratches on her body. Her mother paid no mind to what was going on. However, Qiao knew that something was strange in her home--even her friends knew something was up. Whenever her friends would come over, they would never step one foot into her room. They would stop at the door and immediately become frightened. Again, Qiao tried to tell her mother, but she wouldn't listen. Then, one night, as Qiao was sleeping in her room, the closet light flicked on. Qiao stepped off of the bed, opened the closet door, and turned the light off--a routine she had become accustomed to over the few weeks. She closed the door and laid back down. Only minutes later did the light cut back on. Qiao was about to step out of bed and turn the light off when the closet door slowly began to open slowly and revealed an older man standing in the closet doorway. Qiao was frightened and jumped into her bed, screaming and covering her face with her covers and pillow. The man disappeared that night and Qiao knew that she had to do something or else she'd be possibly harmed. She asked for the history of the house and found out that the particular man who appeared in her room had been murdered one night and left to decay in the closet. The house soon became abandoned after his death but only a year before, had the house went back on the market to be rented. The room was redecorated and changed around hoping to rid the room of his presence, but, that did not help. Once Qiao learned of this, she told her mother and they decided to move away from the house and into Qiao's grandmothers' house. Qiao still wonders if that man was ever released from his to the world...

 

Another ghostly encounter that Qiao had when she was thirteen was when she was staying the night over her best friend's house. They were both exploring the wide backyard and Qiao's best friend at the time suggested that they walk through the forest. Qiao agreed and they began going deep within the woods. Somewhere in the woods, Qiao had the feeling that they were being followed. She turned, but no one was there. Suddenly, she saw a dark figure, dressed in all black clothing with a black hat on. He stood there for a few moments before disappearing into the day...she immediately turned to tell her friend that they needed to go back and that they were being followed, but, she wouldn't listen. She continued deeper into the forest and suddenly, the man appeared in the direction that her best friend was walking and followed her...Qiao shortly heard screams afterward. She didn't look back as she ran to her best friend's house and alarmed her parents what had happened. She told them that she had gotten seperated from her best friend and that she could not find her. They searched the forest for hours, but couldn't find the girl...Before the end of the search, Qiao witnessed the man again, this time grinning as he held her best friends' body in his hands. He turned around and disappeared...her best friend's body was never found...

How you met:

Myungsoo and Entourage had a little stage together where they all performed a song that Myungsoo was writing for them. They were all nervous because no one outside of their group had written for them before and the fact that he was another idol added to the anxiety. However, he assured them that they would do find and be alright. Right before going onstage, Myungsoo grabbed Qiao's hand gently and smiled at her saying, "Knock 'em dead out there for me." He winked at her and immediately, Qiao was taken back by his smile, kind words, and gentle touch. Ever since that moment she hadn't been able to forget about him...and little does she know, he thinks about her all of the time...
