Personality:
Dao Qiao has always been interested in journalism ever since she was a small child. She walked around with a small notepad and pencil, jotting down different things that she saw that interested her so that she could tell her parents what she saw or heard that day. She has always been interested in Mysteries and solving things or coming up with her own stories off of an image that she has seen. Her parents, at first, thought that this was a phase that she was going through and hoped that it would die down as she got older, but, her love for writing and documenting never ceased to exist.
Dao Qiao (Qiao is her first name) is a very curious individual. She is always wondering about different things and trying to come up with many solutions to different problems. She is the type to always give advice to those around her if they need to guidance on something. She is a very smart individual, currently a university student majoring in Journalism. She is very much into her studies and some might even label her as a nerd, but, oh well. Don't call her that to her face, though, because she is very likely to get upset over it. She is very well rounded, finding many things that fit her likes. She is very much into creative and abstract writing, poetry, literature, art, and photography. She just find these topics to be very...interesting.
Don't be fooled, though--she isn't always into her work. She is very fun to be around and, out of all her friends, she is considered the loudest. She is always laughing at the simple things--things that some might not consider to be VERY funny, and yet, she cannot help it. She jokes around a lot and some people find it hard to take her seriously. She has a hard time keeping a poker face. One can tell what she is thinking by glancing at her, although she will try to say otherwise. She wears her heart on her sleeve. She is very emotional--tearing up at simple romance scenes in movies and romantic moments in novels.
Background:
Qiao's parents find it hard to grasp her ambitions. For so long, they have tried to change her desire to be a journalist. But, it only made her facination a little stronger.
Qiao came from a business savvy family. Her parents were always working and travelling the world to make more money. Simply put, they never really were around TOO much in her life because of this. Which is one of the reasons why it hurts her so much whenever they try to change things about her knowing that they weren't around. They actually expected Qiao to take over the family business in the future, since she is the only child.
Qiao came from a very rich family, also, having the money for Qiao to experience her interests. However, when she revealed to her parents that she was going to college with the hopes of majoring in journalism, they cut off her funding, telling her that they would give her the money to get through college if and ONLY IF she changed her major to business. She declined and has been providing for herself to put herself through college. She isn't making much money, but she hopes to be employed at "What's the Scoop" so that she can show her parents that she does not need their money to make it--she can do it on her own.

She is very strict as well, known as "the b**** of the company" but no one will EVER say that to her face because, unlike her husband, she does not spare her tongue for anything. She would much rather clear out the current employees with new ones, anyways. She doesn't care if her and her husband have to start over from scratch.

1. TaeYang of Big Bang: Dao Qiao and TaeYang "met" at one of his concerts. Big Bang was performing "Blue" and during that performance, when it was TaeYang's verse, he stepped to the edge of the stage, made eye contact with Qiao, and reached down for her hand. Nervously, she took it, and once their flesh made contact, she felt fireworks. She did not want to let go and neither did he. Suddenly, he snapped back into reality when he realized that his verse was over and that he was up on stage. He smiled at her and continued performing. Qiao was completely shocked. Even after the concert, TaeYang waited around, hoping that he would run into her on the outside, but she had already left...
2. EunHyuk of Super Junior: Dao Qiao had heard that Super Junior was going to be in the area and she and SooYee went to the cafe that they had stopped in to relax. Qiao and SooYee entered, hoping to get even a glimpse of the idols, and when they did, they were shocked. SooYee ran to Donghae to introduce herself, and Qiao nervously introduced herself to Eunhyuk, telling him that she "loved" him (as a fangirl) and that he was her bias out of all the guys. Eunhyuk was surprised by her calmness, because most fangirls would have chopped his head off, but, she was composed and dignified. He liked that about her and asked for her name, which she politely told him. Then, she turned to leave. It had slipped his mind to ask her for more information about herself, but, when he realized this, she was already long gone, squealing about her encounter with him.
3. Lee Minho (the actor in Boys Over Flowers): Dao Qiao has never met him--ah, if only she had. But, she fell for him because of his characters in his dramas. Sure, he characterized a cold, heartless individual, but she knows that that is not like him at all.
Extra, Extra!
Anything else: Dao Qiao is very dramatic--always being a little extra with her emotions, but, nothing TOO severe and extreme.
