So do you have an OCD about your fandom?  Are you obsessively compelled to only support your bias and ship, completely, irrevocably dedicated?  Or are you open-minded?  Have you secretly enjoyed the idea of your bias outside your ship?

The reason I ask is because although I am a TaecYoon shipper, first and foremost, I am not so hard-core, to the point that I become an anti of anyone else that is paired with them.  Nor do I discriminate against other pairings... I know my preferences, and I respect others as well.  And yes, sometimes I even allow myself to be tempted and swayed into reading and writing other pairings with Yoong!

Consider this:

Six or seven years ago I was a hardcore Hermione/Harry shipper.  I wrote and read only H/Hr fics!  But then two years later, someone introduced me to Dramione!  And yes, I wavered!  I found pleasure in the evil, bad boy Draco, trying to seduce and steal Hermione away from Harry!  (Sorry Ron, but dude, you were never even an option)!  And the years of sheer entertainment were so enjoyable while I read and wrote both H/Hr and Dramione fics!!  Bad boys just love good girls!!!

Another example is the show Vampire Diairies.  Elena will always belong with Stephan!  She LOVES Stephan!!  And Stephan is so devoted to her!!  But DAYUM!!  Who doesn't think that bad vampire brother Damon isn't HOT??  And who doesn't enjoy it when his love and longing for Elena knows no bounds!!  I even enjoy the moments when her look-a-like, Kat Graham, flirts with Damon and pretends to be Elena, because at least in that short time, he gets to have 'something' !!!

So what I am trying to say is... for my dearly loved TaecYoon shippers:  Please do NOT hate me, or judge me if I happen to enjoy reading or writing Yoong with another character other than Taec.  In my heart, Yoona will always belong to Taec.  And Taec will always be #1 for her!  BUT... I will always enjoy reading WELL WRITTEN fics even if Yoona is paired with someone other than Taec...because I know  I will always come back to TaecYoon.  And remember... after all is said and done, this is FICTION!
