WooHa's activity coupled with his determination is one of his primary qualities. Loving adventure and innovation, he will sometimes try to dominate others with his originality and intelligence. He is also confident as well as more aggressive than the other members. He does not fear risks and likes to keep the group on the move. Braveness and charisma are other traits common to see with WooHa, as well as passion, action and energy.
However, WooHa has to be careful and learn to control his emotions often, as his forcefulness and ambition may add to his selfishness and make him impatient, quick-tempered, impulsive and inconsiderate when his wishes are not gratified. background: WooHa was born in the very small town of Chungju, Korea as an only child. He had quite a normal childhood, making good friends with the few children that lived in Chungju. The most dramatic event in WooHa's life happened though when he was 11, which was when his father died of lung cancer. WooHa was gloomy for a long time, even when he became a trainee, but soon found out he had to live on for his father's sake. He did, but sometimes using violance and his frustration as the solution. He got into some fights at his middle school with other boys, but when he joined TS Ent. at the age of 12 in May 2005, he soon was able to find a goal in life, which was to become an artist.
Before he joined TS, he had always been interested in raps and dancing, despite his young age. He had rapped/danced only for fun at a local mart which held public performances when he visited Seoul in January 2005. He was soon discovered by a TS scout, offering him to audition at TS. He did so, and was recruited to the company 2 months later. His whole family moved to Seoul, where they could start a new life, as well as letting WooHa start his trainee period.
