Goodbye guys

Hello guys (even if i am sure no ine knows me here anymore)

When I joined Aff i was enjoying the people i met, how we engaged with each other, we asked about one another when we are not active for just couple of days. I felt we were one big family,

blogs were filled with discussions and comments, stories supported and you could have never opened the website without finding someone added you as a friend, or a message asking how you were doing, a comment on your story.
now it's the opposite.

i don't recognize the website anymore, no interaction, no friends nothing

maybe i am old for this website now.

i will close this account in a month and half (i will wrap up some stories and go)

it was a wonderful 13 years

13 years.

I miss those times we’ve been so hyped up and active here. Lots of friends made, stories told and read, definitely lots of fan girling. Sometimes i just come here and re-read past stories that I religiously waited to be updated before. Reminiscing the old times. I havent been that active since then but it’s nice to re-visit the past.

It’s been a while but whatever path you take, thank you for being a part of my AFF journey.

totally can relate...since i have a 12 year badge as well...so i've been around for awhile. it was sooooo much fun back then. i made and lost so many friends...lol. nowadays even the fics and blogs were looking less and less interesting/varied...but for me it's just too hard to cut off ties completely, i admired those who could. i still come back here to reread my fics and blogposts from the oldtimes and reminisce the good times while wondering if i would ever continue any of my abandoned fics...haa, well....maybe one day i will find the courage to leave this place cleanly too. all the best.

I recently found this site last year so I don’t what it was like before. But if anyone wants to message me they’re more than welcome, though I don’t write on here I do read on here . I like Lee JongSuk-Kim Woobin stories, but am open to any stories with Kdrama actors not Kpop though since I’m more into Kdramas not Kpop. Like I said if anyone just wants to talk about anything even if they’re having a bad day, and want to vent I will be a listening ear .

I understand how you feel. I actually came here late, despite being here for 10 years now. When I say 'late,' it's about the interaction I have with people on AFF. Back then, I didn't understand English and didn't know much about AFF other than reading fanfiction, so I missed out on a lot of things in the past, and I regret it. When I first started interacting with people on AFF in 2019-2024 (I took another long hiatus in between those years. I'm back again in 2023), the site was already becoming quiet, and the interactions I had with people in those year were one-sided. I was always the one trying to keep the conversation going, always asking the questions while they never asked me back or posed a question themselves. I ended up answering my own questions and providing other questions, making it feel one-sided and as though they weren't interested in me. Additionally, all the people I met and talked to didn't last long. Just recently, I lost connection with the last person I had talked to for 9 months, which was crazy because I had been speaking with this person for nearly a year, and now they just stopped talking to me. To be honest, this person and I did fight a lot, but most of the time, they were the ones who were doing it the most, and always provoked me by assuming my behavior and actions as if they could see me and know me, like, WTF?! And when I did give them a reaction, this person didn't like my reaction either because it was not the reaction they wanted or they didn't expect me to act in a certain way, yet I was always the first to apologize because I enjoyed our conversations and wanted to maintain contact. Most of my friends that I met and talked to are now gone, and I have no idea where they are, as it seems like I may be the only one left here. I understand your sentiments, and I wish we could have met each other much earlier. The same goes for me experiencing the old vibe of AFF. If only I had known that we could chat and interact with others, we will probably meet each other, and I could have experienced that old vibe of AFF. I have more to say, but I don't think it matters anymore. I just hope the best for you in the future.

I gained a new friend but lose her that fast. It's saddening it turned this way. I sincerely wish I met you earlier...

It's so sad you chose that way. I know how you feel, I'm not a teenager anymore, I just turned 30 not so long ago. the site used to be much more active, I remember I couldn't decide which story to read, there were so many of them. These days, girl x girl stories are popular, which I don't really like. so I read the old stories that I subscribed but didn't read LOL I wouldn't delete myself because of this, I would leave my profile active. You might regret it later. But you know. Best wishes♫

It's been much quieter lately. We were all kids when we first started (I was 13). Now we're adults with responsibilities: jobs, relationships, kids, etc. I've found it hard to write anymore, let alone talk every day to people that I used to talk to during class times. It's really sad, and I fully understand your growing disinterest in this site. Thank you for the hard work you put into this website and for all of the fun moments. <3 I hope the best for you for whatever you do next, and your life outside aff as well.

We haven't been friends for that long but I can understand what you mean. The site has been nearly dead for a while. Anyway, do whatever is the best thing for you. Good luck!
