calling all authors and readers! a question for you!

Quick question to all the lovely authors here on AFF.

How do you personally overcome writers block or motivate yourself to write?

I would love to know! I've been feeling unmotivated lately so I want to figure out what I can do or try to get the creative juices flowing again.

Do tell me! I need help! <3

+ I really want to be able to chat about story ideas with other authors/readers or anyone really. How do I go about doing that? :/

This one is for the readers!

Do you care more about the style of writing (tone, choice of words, sentence structure, flow etc) or the plot (characterization, story flow, , etc)?

What do you consider a "good" story? Is it one that is well written or one that has an interesting plot?

For motivation: Reading your favorite books or fics, listening to your favorite music, watching your favorite movies or K-dramas, taking walks in the park, or in general spending time in nature.

As for sharing your ideas with others, that's easy. ^^ You can always talk to a person who also writes and that you are close to ^^

As for the style. It depends on what genre I am working on. Sometimes I want it to be perfect, but sometimes, it's okay if it's silly. ^^

But the most important part, that you need to remember is that writing should be fun for you, not a burden. As long as you feel comfortable doing it, then that's all that matters! ^^

If you need help, feel free to reach out!

I like absorbing myself in other hobbies or media! It helps me to think about things I haven't written yet that I could incorporate into current and/or future stories. Sometimes I also look at writing prompts online to see how I'd write them. Hope this helps :3

Most of the time I just put music on and I find that the beats sometimes helps. In some cases even song lyrics can give you an idea that you can build on.
