LOVE INTEREST. momoiro akio (collab with mr. booty!)

POSITION. leader (?), lead vocalist. (back up: triple threat)

TALENT TWINS. newkidd's hansol (speech), verivery's gyehyeon (vocal, dance)

PERSONALITY.

positive: honest, fatherly, intuitive, protective, motivated.

neutral: introverted, emotional, here, here.

negative: sarcastic, worrisome, petty, secretive, stubborn, self-destructive.

OVERVIEW. (tw: bullying, homophobia)

— han yejun, the perpetually tired and done leader of raven. his mother is a classical pianist turned piano teacher so he grew up playing the piano and has perfect pitch, can identify notes in quick succession and stuff.

— literally has two moods, either *chugging his nth coffee of the day* or *charismatic leader*. there's also the *404 alarm bells does not compute* mood that occurs when a certain someone does… basically anything but we don't talk about that here.

— suffered from bullying at school due to being a sunshine, really. smiley, cute, polite. and apparently being polite and generally well-mannered translates to "gay", because he used to have that word spat into his face almost every day. poor kid had no idea what it really meant of course, but he apparently knew it means that people will bully you and beat you up.

— first had his gay awakening in middle school when he was 12. he attended an all-boys school and if that wasn't enough, it was in p.e class. poor yejun was so confused and so shocked because "you're telling me i've been the bad thing people are calling me?" and there started the internalized homophobia. he did talk to his parents about it and subsequently came out, both to himself and his parents. thankfully his parents are supportive but society isn't.

— yejun knew he always wanted to be an idol. music was what he grew up with and even if he didn't get to be an idol, he wanted to be in the music industry somehow. a chance came to him when cube entertainment announced it was holding auditions in 2011. 16-year-old yejun auditioned for cube entertainment and passed, but someone outed him in the company in his first year and the bullying continued there for two more years until the news of his ual orientation reached a higher-up and he got kicked out. and the internalized homophobia reared its ugly head once again. he was at his lowest then: alone, confused and chock full of self-hatred. he remembers asking god, if he was ever there, to just make him straight and everyone stop. little did he know, help was on the way.

— and help came in the form of his younger sister yeji telling him that a new company, my beloved entertainment, was holding auditions for trainees. deciding to give his dream one last shot, yejun auditioned, got accepted and immediately aligned himself with a set of trainees. and it was a completely different experience from cube, because the trainees he aligned himself with this time all had a past that was at least… similar to him. imagine the relief he felt when he learned that he would be debuting with that exact trainee set. he finally found his place.

— he's a sarcastic little (not so little, boy is literally 186 cm) but he actually cares about the boys a lot, he's just better at showing it through his actions than words. he does believe that actions speak louder than words after all. and thankfully the boys don't mind his sarcastic comments because they know deep down that he still loves them.

HA MONA

the amethyst / the diamond

STAGE NAME. mona, 모나

BIRTHDAY. december 30, 2000

FACECLAIM. itzy's chaeryeong (back up: lee chaeyeon)

LOVE INTEREST. open for collabs!

POSITION. main rap, lead dance, vocal. (back up: main dance, lead rap, vocal)

TALENT TWINS. itzy's chaeryeong (speech), purple kiss' yuki (vocal, dance, rap)

PERSONALITY.

positive: here

neutral: here

negative: here

OVERVIEW. (tw: brief mentions of ism, evil editing)

— ha mona, former underground rapper known as "harmony".

— looks like a cinnamon roll, but will kill you if you mess with her loved ones.

— as the daughter of a music producer, mona had always been interested in music and music production. while her older sister and older brother did extracurricular activies, mona would be holed up in her room, scribbling down whatever came to her mind as lyrics and try to produce beats on the computer and soundboard her father had in his office. her father was happy to teach and help her.

— mona was in middle school when she discovered khiphop and rap, and wanted to participate in it. her male classmates all laughed at her, saying that "rap is for boys" and that she should stick to "bubblegum kpop". sure mona liked kpop but khiphop and rap was more up her alley.

— when one of those male classmates started an impromptu diss session towards her during break time, mona decided to say it. she dissed her classmate back so badly that the kid was reduced to a crying mess. her parents were proud of her for standing up for herself in a way that wasn't physical violence, and that's when mona started her career as an underground rapper, performing her self produced beats and lyrics on the streets for extra cash and she was loved immensely, becoming somewhat of a star in haeundae-gu, busan.

— with the love she received gassing her up, mona decided to audition to unpretty rapstar on a whim, at the mere age of 15. she got accepted but guess what happened? not only did she get absolutely destroyed in the diss battle against yuk jidam, mnet also evil edited her to make her seem like a bratty kid who just wanted 15 minutes of fame. sure, she got eliminated in episode 6 and went back to busan, but this was a good lesson for her. unlike what mnet tried to make her seem like, she still remains good friends with some of the contestants, like yuk jidam, (g)i-dle's soyeon and brown eyed girls' miryo, who still remains as her role model to this day. (replacing janey) her unpretty rapstar clips had caught the eye of the lunar ent. ceo, kwon sunhee, and mona got scouted by a representative on her way back home from school in late 2016. after auditioning and getting accepted, off mona went to seoul permanently this time, with her family's blessings.

— ceo kwon knew that mona wanted to prove herself to the viewers, so she sent mona to high school rapper in 2017 (replacing hwang hyejung). and even though mona passed only two rounds, ceo kwon and her sunbae rappers, unlimited's muse and lily's yuu had nothing but praise for her. and in 2018, mona's trainee contract got switched to an exclusive one when it was revealed she'd be debuting with mystique, a rebrand, so to speak, of solstice, one of the groups mona was a fan of back in the day.

— of course, she's bound to receive backlash from anti-idol underground rappers, but they should be the ones to be afraid, because mona has a whole bunch of unreleased lyrics and disses that are looking to be used.

I love that fact that Noah is his English name because Noah will 100% "this is my dad, he is Noah, I am Noah, it has been Foretold™️" with the capital F and tm and all and it's just one of those things that Raven nods to and people outside of the company ??? over but no one can tell Noah otherwise, Yejun was meant to be his parent
