story: Dae's entire existence in the Estrela verse is to sew the seeds of chaos and cause discord. He is Fear. Not just a fear, but the Fear. He is everything parents warn their children of, and more. But Dae is also a cautionary tale. He was once good, or at least a neutral force, a storyteller, and then he was lost to the dark. Those around Dae didn't even make an attempt to save him. In his last moments, Dae took offense, and spite kept him clinging on. Rather than death, because no energy  can be truly lost, only transfered, Dae returned to the universe as a cautionary tale: keep your loved ones close, or they'll be taken, too.

trivia: Daehwan identifies as gay, but he's very lowkey about it. He's always felt like there was something off about him, but it wasn't until he was older (maybe age 8?) when he realized he had a crush on a male classmate that he realized what it was. He was open to his siblings, then his parents. One parent is a bit wary, thinking it might be a phase? But the other and his siblings are all super supportive and good about it. Dae's ideal type is someone he can make music with, someone that he can speak music to and with, and when they can't communicate with words, they have a song and it bridges that verbal gap.
