BACKGROUND
born to a japanese father and mother, she was officially named as sasaki azusa and raised in nagano. her father was a typical salary-man, living by the paycheck to put food on the table for the family while her mother was a simple housewife. needless to say, the weight of supporting the family solely sat on mr. sasaki's shoulders and eventually drove him to drink away his problems every after working hours. he would came home with strong smell of alcohol, sometimes not coming home at all. soon after, came the beating, mrs. sasaki would get few beats when he came back drunk. she tried to hide her bruises and wounds from azusa, at that time it wasn't apparent for the young girl who just turned 7 years old.
with each years passing, azusa started to grasp what's happening in the sasaki household. mrs. sasaki still tried to hide her wounds and bruises. but when she was 10 years old, she got hit by his intoxicated father while trying to protect her mother. just like her mother, she would also tried to hide her wounds and bruises while she was at school. the young girl had became so closed of her private life. fast forward when she entered middle school, she started to gain popularity at school as the good looking first year student. she met few other first year students which at first glance look like they clicked well, always attached by the hip at school hour, laughing and chatting. they were a squad of flowers. while her school life was flourishing quite well and made her forget about home, life take another turn.
mr.sasaki was arrested for attempting to rob a convenience store with a knife pocket while he was drunk, he got arressted right away with her wife finally get the courage to turn her back from him. finally able to leave him, mrs. sasaki was a meek lady who love her daughter, she had never wanted to leave her daughter alone even during difficulties, one of the reason she stayed with her husband was cause of her daughter. vise versa, azusa love her mother as well. with mr. sasaki gone, mrs sasaki tried to take care her family alone. working odd jobs into the late hours of the night, the mother barely scraped in enough money for the two to eat everyday.
turning 15, azusa was scouted by an japanese film studio. It started with her doing cameos, though over the course of a year her popularity increased exponentially. posters of her starting to plastered on the wall of her company. she had became their future star. the amount of money she made shot up absurdly. who knew that making money could be this easy? the young girl had always be secretive, but with popularity, come snooping ears and eyes. they found out about her being a daughter of innamte father. to say the least, that wasn't favorable. it wasn't her fault but the media started to write and the public pointed fingers at her.
lucky for her, her mother had saved enough money during her 'actress' era. it was a shame when the company afraid to push azusa anymore, she is a very good natural actress, her talent get polished more during her time in that company. few months after she turned 16, another magical situation had happened to her. everyone know that according to normal standard, it's very hard for someone to get scouted by bm entertainment but she did got discovered by the bm scouter. it was for her look and star aura, she was asked for an audition. she took this as another oppotunity call, knowing how impressive the korean company are and that they wouldn't just randomly scouted anyone. she took this and clung to it. lying through her teeth to the scouter that her dream was to become an idol too.
it was only a short period between the time she said yes to an audition to the actual audition date. she told her mom about the plan and started to work on her skills. bless azusa, her voice has always been sweet and powerful, she had known that when she went to karaoke place with her 'friends'. she sang and dance, she wasn't phenomenal talented but she got an aura and potential. azusa left her hometown, she moved to south korea, by her own, leaving her mother good amount of money and a promise to take her with her once she succeed.

when azusa first meet the young brian, she really can't believe her eyes. this guy is completely different from the gentle yet respectable ceo of bm entertainment. she don't like how insensitive he is. but why azusa feel like she can understand this version of brian more as time passed. she also hold this time travelling suspiscion over him but it just get burried down deep when they're getten preoccupied in the past.

rj produces and writes authentic good music. she admires his musically and he's actually the first one that discovers she writes. she shows him one of her most confident 'poem' and he thinks they should make a song based on it. thus, lilac was born. rj is his artistic teacher and advisor.

ethan is a nice guy but she hadn't develop anything for him, while she's aware that some of the girls within the group had or have a crush on him. she could only think of him as close friend or older brother.

members of this group are haru of nature, miya of gwsn, remi & may of cherry bullet, sora of woo!ah! and lea of secret number. they're few of japanese idols that managed to debut from 2018 to 2020. all of them have similarity which they didn't come from a huge company neither popular survival shows, their groups need to work slowly to the top and their friendship strengthen through their journey.

azusa had known some of the members before debut, but she wasn't close to any of them. she got closer to 1 or 2 when they started to train together. after going back to the past, all of them has develop special bonds. some are easier to get close with.
EDELWEISS
felicity gained azusa's respect not long after the japanese joined the company. not by her long training years but by how the older conducts herself, personally and professionally. felicity is one of the girls who are closer to her, she feels safe when she's around, but she also feel like she doesn't deserve the selfless leader.
IRIS
for starter, there are an unspoken competition between the 2 main vocalists, may it be one sided or both sided. she didn't say this outloud but she had feel like iris is her rival within the group. it doesn't help that eventhough they both hold the same position, iris is given more lines in their earlier songs. eventhough she'd been told that the other's tone suit the songs more than hers, she is still bitter.

taera is a kind soul, one that able to make azusa feel comfortable around her. the older girl had started training about a year before her and by coincident or fate, they kept bumping during their training years which resulted them to be 'friends'. taera is one of the closer members to azusa, she appreciate her presence and glad that they're going to debut in cherie together.

azusa had known chomin before they were shortlisted into cherie since both of them got into the company at the same time, but they were not that close. after they started to practice and spend times together as a group, if azusa was to describe chomin, she would say that she is like a firecracker, loud and quite a nuisance. still, the older manage to keep up with her most of the times, especially when both of them are in happy mode. it's a little different when one of them is cranky. azusa might or might not scold chomin when she's in one of her 'drama queen' moments and they also get into few arguments. they grow up and along those rocky stages, end up getting close, like sisters they never had.

i based azusa based on two flower, azalea and tulip. azalea is what she aimed to be, the flower itself means selflove and everlasting beauty, while it's perfect to give to another, it hold a deep meaning to save the flower for ourselves. her true self is actually tulips, the classic flower with classic beauty withstand through any eras, past or future. someone with unconditional love but not everyone gonna get this true deep love, her mother is one of the only exception.
i took looooong time to write her but i'm not sure how good she is in other's eyes as i faced lots of block while doing so? so i'm nervous to see what's your opinion on her. please tell me whatever revision i need to do, i want to improve my baby if possible *^*

► azusa getting casted into one of the lighthearted teen series for starter then slowly making her way into bigger dramas at the end of fortuna career?
► definitely need to add the tension between azusa and iris, perhaps when it get so high and they end up having a verbal argument about it? but later made up? a wholesome story that tighten the group's bonds?
