PERSONALITY:

longbao doesn't know anything about the outside world, he grew up in a bubble so he expects the world to revolve around him. that type of guy that'll put his bag on a seat and won't move it even though someone needs the seat because uh his bag needs a chair too where do you expect him to put it, the floor? lol. 

he expects things to go his way because money makes the world go round and would bring up the fact that his dad is the secretariat and head of the dai li. he likes things going his way and does what he wants with no regard for other people. he says he's mature but has temper tantrums whining like a 5 year old when he doesn't get what he wants. he acts like he knows everything and is fearless but he can't even get up to pee in the middle of the night without turning on all the lights. 

most things he does is for the benefit of himself, he won't do something that doesn't serve him in some way and will string people along to get what he wants out of them. he can be kinda manipulating in that way, but he's still immature making dirty jokes and stuff. he never looks back on his actions because the past is the past and we can't change that so why even. besides, he has no regrets in life. he does what he wants to and will deal with the consequences later. in school he's actually one of those popular bullies and other students are afraid of him because he talks such a good talk but can't walk the walk. he can't even fight well but acts intimidating and cool smoking in the back of the school. just from talking to him you'll get bad vibes because he's just rude and sarcastic for no reason like he hates the world. even his mom doesn't understand how the sweet loving longbao has turned into some rebellious thug child but he's actually just mad at himself for not being good at anything and even more mad at his dad for not loving him so he takes it out on others. 

BACKGROUND: 

longbao grew up without having to worry about anything. by the time he was born his father was already the grand secretariat of ba sing se and his mom came from a rich family herself. longbao got everything he wanted as a kid so he couldn't complain. he went to the best school in the earthkingdom, when he started earthbending he went to the best academy in the upper ring. everything his parents provided him was always the best but what he returned to them wasn't. longbao got average grades in school and his earthbending was alright, if anything he was on the lower tier of the class. embarrassing for someone whose father was one of the best earthbenders in the world. longfeng looked down on him because he never reached his expectations. his mothers affirmations meant nothing to him if his dad didn't approve. he barely saw his dad as a kid and when he did his eyes were always filled with disappointment.

as longbao got older he started rebelling for attention from his dad. the only times longfeng seemed to ever take his attention away from his work was when longbao got in trouble. all longfeng did was scold him and rough him up depending on how bad it was but to longbao it was better than nothing. his grades dropped to barely passing as he rather hang out in the street than go to school and his earthbending still isn't as good no matter how much effort he puts. it seemed like rebelling was getting him more attention than actually trying. now that he's a teenager his relationship with his father is complicated, he loves him and hates him at the same time. at a critical point in any teenage boys life when they need their father the most, longfeng is no where to be found. he never realizes it but longbao has been trying to impress his dad for years and he'll go as far as he has to to finally hear the words "i'm proud of you son."         

TRIVIA:

☯ people mistake his name for like xiaolongbao 小笼包 but he uses different characters 龙褒 so it actually means honorable dragon. 
☯ longbao is straight. he's had a looot of girlfriends that only lasted at most a month because he doesn't believe in commitment and gets bored easily but then gets butthurt when they break up with him first
☯ his favorite foods are bison steak and xiaolongbao, what a coincidence
☯ pearl milk tea is his favorite drink
☯ he's afraid of the dark, rodents and cats because he got scratched by one when he was little
☯ his hobbies include shopping and looking at himself in the mirror
☯ he acts intimidating but he's still a young idiot and it lowkey shows
☯ he drinks to look cool but he actually thinks it tastes gross
☯ he has held secret parties at his house on multiple occassions, he considers himself a good dancer
☯ he thinks boys can earthbend better than girls because boys are stronger
☯ he has a skincare routine and goes to the fancy lady day spa with his mom because skin care is important
☯ he smokes for the aesthetic, when no one is around he'll break into a coughing fit

RELATIONSHIPS:

longfeng expected his son to be the next greatest earth bender, head of the dai li and it was clear that he wouldn't be that. longbao put a lot of effort to impress him but he never could. longfeng doesn't pay much attention to his son because he has more important things to do. he treats home as just a place to sleep because he barely stays awake to actually have a conversation with one of them. longfeng is a typical strict father that has a hard time showing affection and praising longbao. the last time longbao has actually had a proper conversation with his dad was a long time ago. its either he's being scolded by him or he just looks disappointed. btw, he thinks nezha is a ridiculous name.

its stranger to think a person like kim would end up with someone like longfeng. she's the complete opposite of him, such a sweetheart and he is just... not at all. when she met longfeng she fell for him because he was a good leader and manly but she wishes he would get along with longbao better. she tells longbao that longfeng is proud all the time and stays positive but he wants to hear it from his fathers mouth instead. longbao doesn't listen to his mom at all. she doesn't have a tough bone in her body, she doesn't even yell when she's scolding her soft voice doesn't allow her to so she tells longfeng everytime he acts out. whenver he's being a moody teenager she tries to cheer him up by cooking good food and it never fails but he goes back to being moody right after eating. she's still trying to get used to calling him nezha since sometimes he won't even answer unless she says that.
