STYLE aidan looks like he doesn't even try with fashion. he mostly wears sweat pants and oversized shirts. when it comes to fashion he buys whatever stands out to him so his closet is colorful and almost doesn't even match since he doesn't think if he has something to pair it with at the moment of purchase. even if it doesn't match he wears it anyways because he likes each item individually. he doesn't put much effort in fashion, just throws stuff on and hopes for the best. the first outfit he tries on is usually the one he goes with because he's too lazy to keep trying stuff on. He has no shame wearing pajamas in public and will probably wear them to class all the time if he’s too lazy to put an outfit together. Pajama pants and a hoodie. But he sleeps and has no shame about his body either. going to the showers he'd walk around with just a towel around his waist and thats it.
BACKGROUND
mok dohyun was born in seoul south korea to a korean dad and a hongkonger mom. he has an older sister that is two years older than him but as the baby of the family he got spoiled by his mom who always wanted a son. his dad wasn't around much as a kid, he has a company in korea and is a huge workaholic so it was mostly his mom taking care of them. at 4 his parents divorced and they moved to hong kong. dohyun became known as hou aidan instead, hou is his mom's last name and aidan was his chinese name. his dad came by a few times a year and during breaks him and his sister would go to seoul to "spend time" with him. there are very few times that he saw his parents together, since it happened so young he doesn't think it effected him.
he went to an international school in hongkong, his family was considered wealthy with his dad being apart of the board at samsung too. aidan had good grades despite never studying a day in his life and falling asleep during class. if you ask him how he did it, he'd say tests are just a bunch of common sense and making good guesses should be enough to help you pass. but the truth is that he's just smart. aidan had a lot of hobbies growing up because his mom wanted them to stay active, specifically for aidan he didn't have an interest in anything. he just did what his mom said but didn't have passion. when his lesson was over he didn't practice more, he just played games or watched tv instead. besides, his sister was already a high achiever so he never felt like he had to be.
usually as you get older you start to find an interest that you want to turn into a career. but that never happened for aidan. this caused his relationship with his father to get worse and worse because he expected aidan to take over the company some day but he was never interested. he blamed his mom for spoiling him too much which is why he's so lazy. aidan eventually started to hate going to see his dad but he had no choice and had to it up.
he went to Hong Kong university for a semester, the best university in Hong Kong that his dad paid for him to get into. But instead of taking it seriously he ended up applying late and only took two classes that semester. After a while he stopped going and took a year off because he didn’t know what he wanted to do and he was just too lazy to go to college. he wanted to “enjoy his youth” as he would say. his dad thought the whole thing was ridiculous but his mom begged him to lighten up on aidan who was picking his belly button on the couch as that conversation was happening. all he did on his spare time with game and drink and party and sleep. so his mom put her foot down and made him apply to a college in korea so he could be closer to his dad so he chose Jeju university since (1) it was farthest from Seoul (2) he heard they have nice beaches (3) his sister is an mba student there.

aidan is your typical unmotivated mamas boy that we all know and love. you know he actually wouldn't say he's unmotivated because he has many interests. he takes on many short term projects just because he likes to try things once and probably never do them again. but that doesn't create stability and is probably one of the wrost traits to have in order to be successful.
he's actually a really smart person with many talents, he just doesn't apply himself because its too much work. his laziness is seriously the worst. he won't put any extra effort in things yet still does well. for example, If he has to write a paper he’ll pick the easiest topic to get it over with instead of challenging himself and doing more research. he won't put that extra work to perfect it but just enough not to fail and he’s usually far from it. for someone thats so naturally talented in many things you'd think he'd apply himself more but his mom honestly prevents that. he grew up not having much expectations on him and his mom coddling him so as he grew up he just didn't care about things.
his upbringing caused him to be a little selfish, not unreasonably (in his eyes at least) but he expects people to treat him like his mom. if something is out of reach he'll ask someone else to get it since he's too lazy to get up. instead of actually getting up himself he rather suffer not having it. if he wants to do something he'll do it, if he doesn't want to do something he won't do it. but he's not that stubborn, he’ll do mandatory things like show up to class but he’ll still be late.
you'd never met someone so smart yet so dumb until you've met aidan. he can understand complicated things, come up with strategic plans and is a pro at chess but he at picking up on other peoples feelings when its not straight forward. people often hide what they really feel but even then its kind of obvious, but not to aidan. if you're not crying or pouting when you're sad than he won't be able to tell. he's known for saying the wrong thing at the wrong time and not reading the room.
when it comes to his own emotions he's really passive, he doesn't get worked up over small things. he isn't good at empathizing either, probably not the best person to talk to when you're sad. he's not a total robot but lets just say he's not helpful. he always answers things honestly that it might hurt the other persons feelings, he just doesn't see the point in lying. he's really an unbothered person and doesn't care about the little things. but then when he sees he hurt your feelings he'll try to make you feel better. he's most likely to stay calm in many situations. maybe too chill. when someone confronts him he'll just say something like "dude you needa chill" instead of matching their energy or taking the situation seriously. he really just doesn't think most things are a big deal. life is too short to take it too seriously.
the way he thinks is really interesting. he often thinks outside the box like the weirdo he is. he has instant comebacks that are hilarious and has the ability to be effortlessly funny. his yo mama jokes are on point. since he has no shame he doesn't care about getting embarrassed. contrary to popular belief he's actually pretty competitive. he'll put extra effort to win but if theres no prize he's really interested in he doesn't mind giving up if it gets too tiring.

SCHEDULE his schedule is really open. his classes are in the afternoon and nights because he doesn't like mornings. he's taking general classes this semester until he figures out a major.

out of all the colleges in korea, why did you pick jeju university and why your major?
my sister goes here. her name is aimei, she's an mba student. she's not the main reason though, i heard this school has some nice beaches so i wanted to personally check them out. i actually don't have a major yet but i'm not stressing about it either. i'll pick one eventually. the first year is a bunch of general classes anyways.

man, i have no idea. i'll be what..30? geez i can't even imagine myself at 30 like will i even have hair? i mean i'm good looking either way but i feel like hair really adds to my look.

my strength is that i'm good at many things. i can learn pretty easily. but i can be kinda lazy so i guess that's my weakness.
