the thing about wooyoung and chaerin is that there's really isn't anything going on between them. the two have met through beomgyu who's a mutual friend and have ever spoken twice between 2017 to 2020.
the first being their meeting, which by the way was slightly awkward since chaerin accidentally spilled coffee all over his white shoes. chaerin ended up apologising a million times while wooyoung kept reassuring her that it was fine.
their second being a random bump in school. chaerin was busy with laughing at a conversation that she unintentionally bump into him again. thankfully, this time there wasn't any coffee involved.
from then on, the two often acknowledge each other by greeting. no conversation or anything, which is a rarity for the two social butterflies.
it was suspected that maybe it was due to chaerin's love as a fan for ateez which led to her not being able to click with her idol.
they were in fact right.
being a fangirl of ateez, chaerin finds it hard for her to keep composure when it comes to meeting them. hence, she chooses to keep shut, in hopes that nothing dumb ever comes out of because we all know how she could get.
