description : Yukyung is quite the charming girl- that’s why she can get out of anything easily, and is one of the main reasons why she is the communicator for the group. If Yukyung promises she’s going to do something, she sticks to her promise. and, if she can’t, she tries to find another way to stick to it, or she profusely apologises that she can’t. She’ll never turn her back on you, unless you give her good reason to. she’s probably one of the most loyal people that you’ll ever meet. Only when she has to take action, of course. since she’s more torture-then-kill, she will drag out the torture as long as she can with a smile on her face. as she tortures her victim, she can only picture her father as the one who’s being tortured. so, win-win. Yukyung has always expected the worst of things. she never really expects things to go right- but, when they do, it’s a total surprise. Without much thought, Yukyung does things that she never really means to do- she just feels the urge that she NEEDS to do it. especially when it comes to buying things, god knows what this girl will buy once given money. There isn’t a challenge that Yukyung is afraid to face. she’s always up for a competition- maybe that’s why her and another member are always competing against each other. On the outside, valerie looks like a very sweet, innocent and loving girl. but don’t let her looks deceive you. although she is all of those things, she is other things- such things that you would NOT want to find out. being kicked out of your own home at sixteen does things to you. It’s a rare moment for valerie if she doesn’t say anything slightly sarcastic. she’s probably one of the most sarcastic members, if we’re being honest.
background : yukyung was born in Suwon in the early season of spring. She enjoyed being outside even from a young age and would spend most of her time playing in the yard or just relaxing. As she got older, she gained an interest in gardening. Her mother even organized a small patch of her own garden for Jaesi to keep as her own and take care of it. Her older brother was never a big fan of anything in the outdoors but sometimes he would get dragged along to shows or the aquarium whenever she wanted to go. With all of her interests being outdoors, she grew to dislike winter, especially so because it meant she couldn't admire her garden. This was the season her brother favoured, since they would end up doing what he wanted such as music. She took the time to learn how to play the violin since her brother took up an interest in playing bass. The instruments didn't go together but she did appreciate her involvement with his interests because he had to put up with hers. For the most part they didn't really get along but her interest in being an idol stemmed from learning the violin. From then on, every winter she would take dance classes and even vocal lessons. Their mother had owned a popular noraebang close to home and would often take them to practice singing popular songs. Her brother was less interested in that part since he felt less inclined to go the idol route, just to stick to playing in his band. When yukyung was fourteen, she was accepted into a company and trained for 3 years before debuting as a member of laboum. They recorded a debut single and a music video and were labeled as the little sister to the company's very popular girl group. The girls often visited the girls to encourage them, but one had taken a liking to seventeen year old yukyung.
Soon enough, there was a scandal between yukyung and a fan, apparently the fan was stalking yukyung’ instagram and yukyung herself so yukyung decided to leave the company and the group because it was irritating her too much. From then, she tried to find another company that suited her and that wasn't going to go for another scandal again just like her old company once doing that she auditioned for royal flush Entertainment via a singing and dancing video all at the same time and found out that she passed through all the stages.
lifestyle : Yukyung has struggled a lot in her trainee life, for 5 years long, being an asocial person and often being on her own outside of the trainee cliques, and also having entered at such a young age. She had to juggle elementary and middle school with trainee life, which was exhausting. She had to move schools, away from her best friend. She also entered without really much skills, so at the start she didn't have any confidence either. Now she has a bit of confidence in her singing, but still not much. Yukyung has also been losing her interest in idol life, but she decides to keep going with it, because if she leaves now she'll disappoint everyone she knows. She has decided to go for it and leave to become a classical musician when the time is right. She's so different from the others that she stands out between the other trainees. When she was in Nega Network she was close to the girls because she felt comfortable talking to them, the oldest trainee was Yujeong who seemed like a vocalist she looked up to her the most as a role model. In 2014 the Yukyung made her debut in a group called "Laboum" who made their debut with the song "Pit-A-Pat" the group was not that popular due to them being a rookie girl group but the groups fandom slowly rose. The group made many comebacks through the years but in 2019 just after 2 years yulhee left the group, yukyung too left the group. there were no reasons given but she wanted to re-start her idol life in a new company.
in 2020 yukyung was then scouted by royal flush entertainment, she started training straight away. she was the oldest trainee in the company and she knew how training was like in the music industry. the training was a bit different in royal flush entertainment than it is in nh media. every single day yukyung would get up out of her dorm and go to practice.

He performs so well and he's so dedicated and wants to become better. on the other hand when he's offstage that's when he becomes "Soonyoung" so to speak. He's more natural and that's the case with every idol. But offstage, Soonyoung is a happy, loving, funny person that needs to be protected at all costs. Soonyoung is such a fun loving person. He loves each and every one of the seventeen members. He loves joking with them. Soonyoung, Seokmin, and Seungkwan are the "gag trio" or also known as booseoksoon.
