Hansol’s important decisions are made solely based on his own logical exploration of the subject. Unless it’s something where he has to tap into his emotions such as having to show empathy for a friend, for a situation like that, he will tap into his intuition. His logic is his go-to and he will not make an argument without having any evidence to prove it. People seem to be naturally pulled in my Sol’s energy, not only because of his visuals, but also likely because when there isn’t anyone else to do it, Sol takes charge and takes charge efficiently. Sol has this passion for life that makes it easy to listen to him talk and follow his lead, his words come out with an air of certainty, he knows exactly what he means when he says something and people find this captivating. If the other members aren’t there or needs some help with their duties as leader, Sol is always there too help. Hansol organizes his personal space carefully and he has a place for everything. This translates to his work as well, his plans are organized and precise when they need to be. If he doesn’t write it down, then he thinks it out in his head and organizes his thoughts (i hope that makes sense lol). After a bit of listening, Hansol is able to pick up on concepts quite easily. Of course, like any other person, sometimes he may need to run through it again, but in general he picks up on concepts with little effort. He may not seem like it, but he is quite passively affectionate. He won’t come up to you and give you a big hug, but he will touch, play with, and hold your hands at any given opportunity. Sometimes with the occasional hug.

He simply cannot handle when something has to be done but people are going slower than he thinks he should be. He tries his best to be nice about it but he comes off mean anyways a lot of the time, but he just wants to get what needs to get done, done. He has two different sides to his personality. his cool, serious side, and his affectionate, playful side. When he’s in a playful and affectionate mood he’s quite laid back but still as charismatic. He doesn’t just switch from one side to the other though, it's quite a gradual change, or he just wakes up and is in a different mood. Sol is a perfectionist, but not in the typical stay-up-all-night-working way. If he needs a break, he’ll take a break but if he’s trying to perfect something he will do it over and over and over again and end up getting tunnel vision and ignoring the people around him. This ends up hurting his relationships a bit and it frustrates him as well. Hansol tends to be more anxious than the average person before important events come up. When he’s in a mood like this, he can’t talk or else he will literally puke. He knows that he prepared properly but he can’t help but be nervy. Before his debut, he had a puke bucket next to him at all times while he was in the dressing room and only communicated with facial expressions and hand gestures. He can get stubborn easily and not listen to people when they tell him to stop overworking. He doesn’t even know that he is being stubborn, his family and friends hate it when he overworks too much and that he doesn’t take care of himself.

BACKGROUND : Sol was born in Dallas, Texas to Mary Park and Park Hanjin. When he was born, he lived with his parents and three of his grandparents, his paternal grandfather being unknown. Living in a household with 5 other people, none of whom were his age, wasn’t as bad as it sounds. His parents and grandparents nurtured him a lot and molded him into a hardworking person at a young age. He helped his grandparents and parents with household chores. He cooked and baked with his grandmothers, he helped his grandpa and dad fix things when they needed fixing, etc. This led him to also be hardworking in school, but honestly, at first, school just wasn’t his thing. From elementary school to the beginning of middle school, Sol could not do very well in school, he was able to quickly learn other concepts, but the way school was set up made it hard for him. But he worked so hard. So, in middle school, he began tutoring and he naturally got better and more efficient. This showed him that hard work does pay off, so Sol rarely feels like he can’t achieve something. Sol then moved to Seoul, South Korea on February 22nd, 2015 which was a new start and journey for him because his father's company had merged to another company. Sol then had to move schools aswell and make new friends. His first ever kpop group he had listened to was SHINee' "Ring Ding Dong" then that got him listening to more artists too.

Sol’s interest in music started at a young age. His grandfather used to be a music teacher, so, he would kinda just throw a bunch of information about music at Sol and talk about his “good ol’ teaching days.” because Sol is a good listener. This sparked an interest in music for Sol at the age of 10. He kind of became obsessed with studying music and eventually, without much effort, he found himself in the world of KPOP and K-HipHop. He instantly fell in love with SHINee, CL, Dean, Seventeen, SNSD, and VIXX. Being very interested in rap, he started learning the rap parts of songs that he enjoyed and with his grandfather’s help, he learned a lot about how music works in general. He never outright said that he wanted to be a kpop idol until he was 13, but his whole family figured that he would pursue a career in music. So, after his 14th birthday, he started auditioning for companies, one of which being Yuehua, the others being the usual companies, JYP, YG, Big Hit,SM. He really only wanted to go to Yuehua, but he applied for the bigger companies to see if he’d get accepted. He got accepted to YG and Glass, but not any of the other companies. Then, he began training in Glass Entertainment in May of 2020.
