— Soojin is intensely charismatic despite her quiet demeanor and preference to being alone. Whenever she speaks all eyes are on her, and everyone wants to hear what she has to say. She supposes that has something to do with the fact that she doesn't speak often, if she does then it must be something important. She easily captivates others, and enjoys putting on a show no matter where she goes. She's a smooth talker and can talk her way in or out of most situations, and is very strategic with her own words. Growing up with respectable parents has taught her to be humble and kind. The girl doesn't have a mean bone in her body, and always likes settling things with words. She is almost irrationally kind, and most of the girls worry someone will take advantage of her kindness at some point. She always directs the spotlight to the other girls and is very good at promoting them whether on variety shows or through social media- they are always at the forefront of her mind. She always has nice words to say, and she tends to sugarcoat things to make people feel better. Soojin isn't a judgemental person, nor is she the one who hastily chooses sides. She is a good mediator especially between the girls, and always makes sure they sort through their problems eventually. She isn't biased when it comes to making decisions or offering advice, and that's one of the reasons the girls always go to her when they're having an argument- because she'll be honest. Her role is basically to ensure the girls don't implode on each other if an argument or disagreement gets too bad. There is a fine line between “things you usually notice”, and “why do you know this about me”. Soojin is known for freaking out the girls a little by recognizing some of their smallest and irrelevant habits. Whether it be in appearance or personality, she has always been good at reading people. It's best not to keep secrets from her as she can generally tell when you're lying. She is very aware of her surroundings, and is also very observant with practices, which is why she is such a good leader for the girls.

Something to know about Soojin is that she is extremely secretive in the sense that she doesn't like to reveal too much about herself and her personal life to people she's not immediately close with. She's learned that speaking too much gets her in trouble, and that sometimes it's better to just keep shut about her personal life. Soojin loves connecting with others, however sometimes she doesn't exactly know how to. She really hates putting herself out there, and finds it hard to make friends or be involved with new people because of it. She often feels lonely or isolated because of her reluctance to introduce herself first, and misses out a lot because of it. Despite being particularly elusive to those around her, she still does her best to appease or amuse them. Soojin does what others ask of her every time they do so. So long as it's reasonable and within reach. She finds it that if she can't be content with herself- she should gain the approval of others. She puts the needs and desires of others over her own so often, she forgets what it's like to treat herself. When she does she feels selfish. In general she will ignore her own wellbeing to ensure the wellbeing of others. Soojin is also a complete perfectionist. She’s the type to spend twelve hours straight practicing even when the other member’s think she’s done everything perfectly. She gets easily upset when she doesn’t pick things up quickly, or does something wrong. She tends to keep her perfectionism to herself (meaning she doesn’t pick on the other members about it), but it causes her to overwork and stress herself a lot.

— Soojin grew up in a very strict family, and very high in the social hierarchy which made her the way she is today. She was mostly told to be quiet and listen growing up, which would affect her personality as she grew older. Her parents always had extremely high expectations of her, and growing up she was raised to take over the family business with her brother. Because of this, her and her brother were extremely close growing up. The two of them knew their purpose in life from the moment they were born, until Soojin discovered K-Pop and the industry surrounding it. Soojin would soon tell her parents about her affinity towards becoming a K-Pop idol when she thirteen, and they were extremely disappointed in her. Although her father completely disapproved of this, he knew that it would be wrong to deny her of her dreams, and even set up an audition with SM Entertainment. Soojin quickly passed thanks to her natural talent and unique visuals, and she trained there for a few years until she realized that SM was structured too similarly to the uptight professionalism of her parent's company, and decided she wanted to try a different entertainment behind her parent's backs.

As soon as her trainee contract expired she had left the company straight away because she knew that she wouldn't debut at any time soon and S.M Entertainment wasn't good for her that's when Soojin found her way to KQ Entertainment, and found herself at home with the other girls and their more lax routines. She has been with the company ever since, and has been waiting for her chance to debut.

— She trained with SM Entertainment for two years until her trainee contract was up, and then decided to try out KQ Entertainment to have a less competitive and rigorous experience.
— Whenever the girls have a comeback she goes to the nearest store to buy their album, and then puts whoever's photocard she pulls into her phone case during promotions.
— She didn't have any immense talents before auditioning for SM Entertainment, and that is where she picked up most of her rapping and dance skills.
— She has never been good with updating her social media, and the girls usually have to take her phone and post for her.
— She has trained a total of six years (2 years at SM, 4 years at KQ Entertainment).
— She absolutely adores 2NE1 and SNSD, they are her role models.
— Despite being extremely observant, she still gets scared whenever someone talks to her.
— She would be interested in modeling, and has had a few brands reach out to her before.
— She was an SM Rookie until she basically disappeared to become a KQ trainee.
— She has an extremely protective fanbase that will do basically anything for her.
— She was accused of buying her way into KQ Entertainment but that was false.

Soojin and her father have always had a bit of a love-hate relationship. Although he is supportive of his daughter in what she does, she knows that he always would have preferred her to take on the family business with her brother. — "I feel so excited that I'm getting to debut after a being in 2 other companies I thought I coulnd't debut earlier but now that I try hard to practice and being more like an idol than a trainee I'm excited to debut"

— "I would like to try fun and quirky concepts because I love how colourful music videos are but I would also want to try dark witchcraft concept too so basically in all words I love to try fun, quirky and dark concept"
