Happy New Year! And good-freakin-bye 2020!

With one of the worst years in recent history and probably the worst in most of our lives due to one reason or another, I decided that I should go back and look at some of the more positive notes for the year. I had hit 100k words in my current ongoing fic, and I realized that I've written most of that this year which is insane for me because I had taken a year and half break from writing, so going back into writing and hitting such a huge milestone was actually absolutely...mindblowing? Because I didn't think I would fall back into writing.

So, I went back back and looked at everything I wrote in 2020, and it turns out, I've written 178,995 words. What even. I don't know how I managed to do that but apparently, quaratine did amazing things with my creativity considering I had nothing else to do lol. Despite everything that quarantine meant, it actually allowed me to take a break from the responsibilities I would've normally had and the things I would've normally had to do over the summer, and instead it let me focus more on the creative side of things. I hadn't picked up a book to read in ages, only had been reading fanfics, until April of this year (I always end up doing something dumb like this around finals time because I get stressed and need to procrastinate and end up reading 12 books in a month). Since April, I've read 48 books and am currently in the middle of 3 other books. Plus, I wrote so much and taught myself basic photoshop. I don't know how I did that, but clearly something good did come out of the year.

But I still hope that 2021 is going to be so much better.

• 5990 word for the chapters of Withering Petals I wrote this year (Baekhyun-focused)
• 2087 words for a oneshot I wrote for the game Onmyoji (Enmusubi x Kidomaru)
• 12238 words for a oneshot I wrote for the show Never Have I Ever (Devi x Ben)
• 20869 words for 12 days of Christmas series for Percy Jackson (Percy x Annabeth)
• Doesn't include edits I've made to Gambling with Death because I couldn't figure out the word count lol
