a/n; not sure how canon this will be until i get the green light from momo
♚ was a street orphan, never knew her parents and the only parent figure she has is the man who took her in, the leader of the jae clan
♚ he raised her along with shiro, and later kuro. although he never explicitly made her his "daughter", if anything she is more like apprentice. trained by his bodyguards so that one day she'll be able to take up the mantle of protecting the leader and the next leader
♚ particularly gets along with shiro, they act more like siblings once formalities are gone in the room. but there is always some sort of romantic tension between them 
♚ however that tension was soon gone when a particular girl caught the eye of the lionness, and her heart was taken away
♚ everything goes down when the clan leader was murdered by a rival clan
♚ she questioned her worth of being in the clan, even though she's not a fully fledged bodyguard, she felt somewhat responsible of it. the guilt start to eat her up and she only finds solace in the warm smile of the one who owns her heart
♚ carmilla decided that she wants to leave the clan to be with her one, but promises shiro that she will come if he ever call upon her
♚ kuro didn't take it as easily as he had residual feelings for her, but she wants to stay true to what she wants
♚ she now owns a quaint little french style cafe-garden called "petite dame" in the countryside with her lover
♚ she now acts more as an anonymous informant for the clan whenever she picks up something new

🍃a gentle and kind-hearted woman, but has a sass & a breath fresh of youth to her
🍃basically they both met when laura was working at a cafe and carmilla went there on a mission, carmilla didn't pay any attention at first but then unknowingly started going back to the cafe for some reason
🍃then took her a whole month before realising that "oh, it's cause of her"
🍃elaboration needed but basically one day carmilla is like "wanna run away toge-" "take me away dear" and then the rest is history
