you know that one friend that's life is somehow eventful af and they're always in drama and cry and complain about it but they highkey do it to themselves. well that's basically harlow. she's an adventurous social butterfly who loves unintentionally getting herself in some kind of trouble and scented candles. basically, a whole mess. 

harlow is that friend that probably isn't your best friend but is always there when you want to hang out and its never awkward. she loves befriending people and talking about life and each others experiences. but unlike some people, she's more of a do-er than a talker. for example, two weeks ago you mentioned that you wanted to ride the huge rollercoaster at lotte world, well guess who just bought two tickets? wanna go skydiving? she probably reserved the tickets and hotel before you could even look it up. her curious nature makes her want to try new things and she rather try something once than not try at all. which goes along with her motto in life which is, "you only live once so live life with no regrets."

her carefree nature is the thing that people love about her most and make her seem so relateable. she doesn't try to be perfect or act like she's something she's not. instead what you see is what you get with her. which is why she was somehow able to be class president and valedictorian despite not even having the best grades. it's all just a popularity contest.

one down side to her loving and outgoing nature is her need to help people. she isn't sefless per say because she does put herself before others usually but she still always wants to help others and commits to way too many things at once making her overwhelmed at times. she has a hard time saying no to people so she carries others burdens on her back trying to solve everyones problems so they're all happy. yet even though she's probably stressed 99% of the time she remains optimistic. she often bites off more than she can chew and is left running everywhere frantically trying to do multiple things at once. 

which isn't technically bad, but the thing is that she has the attention span of a squirrel and is curious af so can never commit to one thing without having another idea which sort of relates to what she's doing but ends up making her lose focus completely to pursue something else. this is probably why she has a terrible habit of talking to herself outloud and why she needs to do her wellness routine every morning and night or else she'll break out. 

harlow is also highly emotional. she thinks of people as naturally good and gives everyone the benefit of the doubt, treating them with absolute kindness no matter what. so when someone is mean to her, especially someone she considered a friend, she cries. whenever she feels overhelmed she cries. when the sunset looks extra pretty, she cries. but this crying session usually doesn't last long because she'll probably get distracted by something else. 

but even though she's a whole emotional mess, there's something innocent and naive about her optimistic look on life. she's the definition of chaotic good and wants everyone to just enjoy life and be happy. 

Background

harlow was born in sydney australia on april 1st 1999. she is the oldest of three siblings, and has a younger brother and sister, felix and rachel, who are each born two years apart. harlow had a pretty easy life. her family wasn't rich but they were comfortable enough to do what they wanted. her parents were always supportive of their children and encouraged them to do whatever they loved. this caused harlow to have a wide range of interests and hobbies as a child. her short attention span and curious nature made her hop from one thing to the other without a care in the world or consideration for the future. from a young age she was enrolled in ballet and gymnastics, then found a love for basketball, track, and swimming later on.

in school harlow was constantly getting in trouble for dumb things. she was a good student but her curious nature led her to get into bad situations sometimes and even hang out with the wrong crowd at times. she isn't the best at focusing on the big picture so she would forget about school just to go do something fun. her grades weren't terrible, but they also weren't the best and actually kind of random. one semester she would get an A in one class and the next semester she would get a C in the same class. it all depends on how distracted she gets during that time. she definitely wasn't a good role model for her younger siblings since she was quite mischevious, but she still loved them unconditionally and was always there for them when they needed her. at the age of 15, harlow was already 173cm, hovering over many of her classmates. but she was never bullied for it because she was popular in school.

2013 was the year that she started vine, the popular video sharing app and went by the name 'yourpalhal'. she became popular on the platform because of her short singing covers and sometimes dumb and random videos. by 2014 she amassed 1.5 million followers and over 200 million views on vine alone, on twitter she had about 400,000 followers under the name @yourpalhal.

2015 was the year she opened her youtube channel, hal lee sings, where she posted full singing covers and gained 300,000 followers in the first year. later that year she opened a second youtube channel, hal lee vlogs, where she showed her true personality, mostly posting random vlog videos with her friends, family, thrift shopping, trying random diets, storytimes etc. (like a mix of bestdressed, oh no nina and emma chamberlain). the video that brought her channel over the top was her 'meeting my long distance boyfriend for the first time' video, which was the first time she met brian and the internet loved it. that video gained 11.3 million views. her second channel ended up gaining more followers than the first and by late 2016 she had 2.1 million followers on that account and 850,000 instagram followers.

in january 2017, she flew to korea with her family to drop felix off at jyp since he passed the auditions in australia. while she was wandering the thrift shops of seoul with her sister rachel, filming a new vlog for her channel, they both got approached by a representative from HB entertainment who gave them their business card and told them to audition for their company. she got the whole thing on camera.

even though she loved singing, she never thought about actually being a singer. she had no idea what she wanted to do in the future, but singing wasn't one of them. however, auditioning for the company would give her good content for her youtube channel since she did have quite a few kpop fans, despite never talking about kpop. so two days later, and after a lot of begging for rachel to join her, they went in for their audition. harlow sang i'm yours by jason mraz with her little ukulele and although filming wasn't allowed inside, she vlogged the whole day and was actually late to her audition. she didn't bother telling her parents because she didn't take the audition seriously and the next day they had to go back to australia anyways.

harlow never heard back from HB so she just thought that she didn't pass the audition, which didn't bother her. but a week later, she got an email saying she passed, and of course, the first thing she did was take her camera and started ranting about the news. when she posted the video and few hours later, it was flooded with comments encouraging her to become a trainee. she had a long talk with her parents that night who thought that training would actually give her some structure in life, since she was planning on taking a gap year before college anyways. a week later, she was on a flight back to korea with her family and became a trainee. on january 26, 2017, she uploaded her last vlog titled 'bye bye youtube :(' which was a vlog of her first day of training, farewell to her family, and tearful goobye to all her fans.

after citrus left HB, to make money, harlow went right back to YouTube and social media, mostly being active on Instagram. the types of videos she made remained the same, she would vlog at their dorm often and feature her other friends as well. she still does thrifting vids, vlogs with her members, preparing for debut, going to different places (like q2han), and doing storytimes about the kpop industry (like Grazy Grace). as for her singing channel, she still posts herself singing but also collabs with her other members. sometimes she gets sponsors since she has a significant amount of followers so she might appear in a photoshoot or get invited to go to fashion week.

Felix lee (이용복)

harlow loooooves her little brother. after being lonely for the first two years of her life she was excited to get a baby brother to play with and mess with. and thats exactly what she did, babied him yet also made him her little test bunny. doing his makeup, dressing him up in princess dresses. and that basically describes their relationship now. felix is usually serious but he has a soft spot for his sister and lets her get away with basically anything. even making him try on clothes at stores for her because they're the same height and she's too tired to do so. usually he'll complain first but he does it anyways. he knows his sister is all over the place and very emotional so he tries to be there for her whenever he can, often giving her lengthy advice that she never takes and being a shoulder to cry on and her go to person for reassurance. but this doesn't mean that they don't fight, harlow loves pestering felix and doing everything to get under his skin which usually ends up with her in a headlock ( he literally has a 3rd degree black belt in taekwondo ) but even though hes younger hes really protective and acts like a dad invading his kids privacy, especially when it comes to  bang chan because he doesnt want his groupmate dating his sister.

rachel is the ideal daughter, amazing grades, pretty, good manners, many friends, but as soon as harlow comes around, she somehow ends up in situations that she would never be in. she loves her dear sister so much but she seriously thinks that she's an idiot sometimes. out of all the lee siblings, rachel is the smartest and most straight forward. she'll tell harlow the truth no matter how hurtful and simply tells her that her plans are stupid unlike felix who tries to ease around it. this usually ends up with harlow crying to felix that rachel hurt her feelings and felix being the peacemaker between the two. rachel doesn't mean to be mean though, she just wants her sister to stop being mother teresa and actually finish something for once, she cares for her deeply but isn't the best at showing it. their personality differences puts a strain on their relationship sometimes and they go months without talking, but eventually harlow will miss her little sister and the cycle repeats.

lia was her first girl friend in korea so they're the closest. they talk the most often and even take pilates together. they're opposites  yet similar, making up for the gaps in each others personalities. they're both talkative social butterlies. unlike harlow, lia is very good at following rules and stays in the range of what's acceptable but whenever she's with harlow she finds herself being pulled in all types of directions, kind of like rachel. harlow and lia both have a guilty pleasure for gossip and can't help themselves when it comes to whispering about the latest tea among themselves. but unlike harlow, lia can actually be quite judgemental towards others sometimes. harlow also loves seeking advice from others and lia is known for her terrible solutions. she likes to fight fire with fire which is terrible for poor little harlow because she'll actually do it and it'll just cause her more trouble. when together it's like they have an endless amount of things to talk about, usually friends of harlow will end up being friends of lia as well and vise versa. if life were a movie, lia would be the main popular girl and harlow would be her side kick best friend.

rose and harlow became fast friends just because they're both from australia. hanging together brought a sense of comfort for both of them and reminded them of home. whenever they need to get away from the madness of korea, they hang out, usually just being lazy at each others dorms, go out to eat, or travel. out of all her friends she travels the most with rose, especially when going back home, shes open and likes to try new things so they became travel buddies. after lia, rose is her next closest friend. she's also friends with chaeyoung so sometimes they all hang out together. she also thinks felix is adorable and babies him with harlow, which he "hates", and rose, harlow, felix and chris are aussie squad.

chaeyoung is that one friend that they don't talk everyday but if you hit her up asking to hang out, she's always down to go. even though they're not extremely close they know they can trust each other well. she's also her thrifting buddy and they usually do artsy things together like going to an art museum or painting. they have similar styles and like to make things together and for each other. sometimes chaeyoung would go to citrus's dorm or vice versa and they'll just meditate with scented candles, and the other members just look at them like they're crazy. since they don't talk often, harlow is always filling her in with everything that happened since the last time they talked and chaeyoung is always there to listen then tell her to go on a juice cleanse to get rid of all the negative toxins in her body.

out of all of stray kids, she's closest to these three, besides felix of course. mostly because bang chan kept inviting her to the studio with them, and when they're all together its a mess. changbin and harlow act like they don't get along but lowkey like each other. everytime harlow shows up he's always like "ugh shes here again?" but when she's not there he's the first to ask hows shes doing. they argue like two kids but if someone ever talks bad about her he gets upset because he's the only one that can be mean to her. jisung becomes extremely shy when she's around, kind of like an awkward and nervous wreck, but she finds jisung adorable so she's always pinching his cheeks or hugging him. chris is the only normal one... kind of.

jamie is a terrible influence. she's harlow's wildest friend and will influence her to do things that she knows she shouldn't do but will do anyways. she has a very carefree attitude and likes to do whatever she wants with no care for rules. moral of the story, she drags harlow to go clubbing and is her party buddy. everytime she's with jamie they're either drinking or party. when harlow is down or crying about something, jamie's first response is lets go to the bar or they go to karaoke by themselves so they can sing and cry and scream and drink and sing some more. jamie loves harlow and will fight anyone who hurts her, she can be short tempered sometimes and if harlow names names of who made her feel sad, she will confront them and threaten them. but her motto is, "vodka is the cure to all sadness".

brian and harlow dated back in 2015, they met online and he was a popular internet personality like harlow. he was all the way in indonesia so they didn't meet until 2016 when he went to australia to meet her. before they met, they facetimed everyday and interracted a lot online, so fans shipped them together but they kept their relationship a secret until they finally met and she made a video about it. they were perfect together, their personalities matched enough to have similarities yet also make up for each others differences. basically opposites that constantly bickered back and forth over stupid things but were kissing 2 seconds later. fans loved their bipolar banter. even though they were young, they loved each other deeply and moved really fast. after he stayed with her for a week in australia, they started to see each other during every school break and even talked about marriage despite being so young. but the more public their relationship was, the worse it got.

being an esfp, harlow is very friendly and makes friends easily. she was friends with other influencers and collaborated with other guys besides brian which he hated. since their relationship was so public, they let others opinions get in the way. when fans started rumors that harlow was seeing other guys brian actually believed it and started taking her friendly gestures in videos as something else. because of this he became more clingy and restrictive, telling her to stop talking with certain people. harlow seriously thought he was nuts because she was completely loyal to him.

once harlow started training, brian just became tiring to deal with. he wasn't understanding to the fact that she had no time because he was busy as well and still made time. but overall she just didn't like him as much as she used to so in march 2017 she broke up with him through text. she let him down slowly by saying they could still be friends but he didn't take it well. he instantly went to twitter and talked about her, calling her out her name and accusing her of things she didn't do. later that year he came out with the song 'glow like dat' which is also about her. she couldn't defend herself because she wasnt allowed to use twitter while training but her fans were often fighting with his fans trying to defend her. as soon as harlow left HB, she clapped back and the feud began.

oof this is a messy one- okso harlow met yugyeom and bambam through jamie but at different times. she met yugyeom first a few months after she joined HB but they always hung out in a group so they were more like acquaintances than friends.jamie kept pushing her to yugyeom because he was interested in her and soon after they became friends with benefits. harlow took their relationship as what it was but yugyeom caught feelings and became kinda clingy. around that same time, she met bambam and they instantly clicked. they were both loud and outgoing and hanging out with him was fun until they got drunk one day and hooked up. she didn't think much of it because her and yugyeom weren't in a relationship, but instead of breaking it off with him, she just started to ignore him and be with bambam instead. both of their relationships were kept secret because harlow wasn't supposed to date anyways so both parties didn't say anything, not even to their friends. and yes she didn't know they were in the same group because she never asked since she didn't know kpop groups much anyways. 

then in late 2017, yugyeom sent her a long text confessing his love for her. but of course, harlow being the idiot she is, just sent that 'the number you are trying to reach is currently unavailable' text and she's been avoiding yugyeom ever since. like literally avoiding, whenever she sees him she runs the opposite way covering her face.

until one day, she saw bambam and yugyeom hanging out and asked jamie how they knew each other, this was when she found out that they're literally best friends and in the same group. ever since then she's been avoiding bambam too, constantly coming up with excuses not to hang out with him but still being friendly. out of the two, she's more likely to talk to bambam if they bump into each other but she'll run like her life depended on it if she saw yugyeom.

lee eunkyung (이은경)

as soon as eunkyung and harlow met, they got along. sometimes harlow could be too all over the place for disciplined eunkyung, but they're a good match. she knows how to calm harlow down and make sure she focuses on one thing at a time. which is why when citrus left HB, they became producer buddies. harlow has a lot of ideas and jumps from one thing to another, but eunkyung helps her stay focused and actually finish the songs instead of having a bunch of unfinished songs. together they're like a dream team whose differences work well together to make amazing music.

RURU IS SO TINY! AND CUTE!! HARLOW MUST PROTECT!!! she loooooooves ruru and will literally fight anyone who messes with her. everytime ruru does something harlow is like "AWWWWW OMG SO CUUUTE!!" if ruru wants soemthing, she's the first one to get it and just adores her. whenever they're together, harlow can't help but cling to her somehow, usually hugging her head because she's so smol heh.

harlow loves all her members. she thinks of them as family and is there for all of them when they need her. she's like the fake maknae and acts younger than most of the younger members. any drama in the group, she's the first to try and squash it and make sure everyones happy. she loves making things and getting gifts for her members as well as treating them when they go out to eat. harlow hates sleeping alone so which ever member has space on their bed, she's squeezing in to cuddle. But theres one member that shes closest to and thats her partner in crime!! They're really a whole mess together.

bodeul can't keep up with harlow for the life of him. everytime he tells her to do something, she says yes but ends up getting distracted and doing something else. which is why he put eunkyung in charge of making sure she actually gets things done. since he's traditional, sometimes they heads and he doesn't really understand her. but that's when eunkyung comes along and saves the day. 

hallee (할리)

( its her nickname "hal" and her last name "lee" put together, on her social media she's known as hal lee instead of harlow so a lot of fans already called her hallee )

Harlow found training really hard. She struggled with the harsh schedule and the long nights where she slept for only an hour but had to wake up hella early to do it all over again. She made a lot of friends during training, but they were all so serious most of the time, which is why she had to break the rules and hang out when she was supposed to be training, make friends outside the company, or go to see felix when she wasn't supposed to. it was all so she wouldn't get depressed with the strict ways of the company. she actually wanted to give up a few times but her parents kept encouraging her. when citrus left HB, she was actually kind of happy because then they would have creative freedom and make music happily on their own time instead of living like robots.

After their breakup, Brian was salty that she broke up with him and took it to twitter, complaining about their relationship and throwing her under the bus in passive aggressive tweets. When Harlow left HB she responded to everything he was saying to clear her name. They've been in a feud ever since tweeting back and forth about stupid things and just being petty. Fans are pretty split between the two with some clearly taking Brians side and others taking Harlows. Theres also a group that wants them to get back together.

"Citrus's Hallee Dated A Member Of Got7?"

In one of Hallee's recent YouTube videos, she talked about an experience she had with another  male idol, saying "we kind of had a thing, I won't say we were dating but we also weren't just friends. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't even bother because it just ruined our friendship. It just because it's so hard to avoid him, we have too many mutual friends." She never said the name of this idol or what group he was in, but fans suspect it to be a member of Got7. There are many theories around which member it is, but fans have noticed that everytime Got7 is around, she somehow looks tense or moves away. Some are pointing out that it could simply be a coincidence but others can't help but notice some kind of tension between the two. 

"Citrus's Hallee and Rich Brian Back Together?"

Hallee and Brian were a popular couple among teens back in 2016. They broke up in 2017 and after Brian released the song Glow Like Dat. Their loving relationship that fans saw took a turn when Brian went on a rant exposing her on twitter. their feud lasted a long time but died down a few months ago. and recently, to everyones surprise, they released a duet called These Nights and fans couldn't help but point out their amazing chemistry, thinking that they were together the whole time and it was all a stunt. neither of them addressed the rumors, but fans of the two are happy to see them in a video together again like old times.
