personality: He is quite blunt in what he says and thinks of the ones who he fully trust as much more important than others but doesn’t directly show it. Doesn’t have a good temper in the morning but after a cup of warm morning coffee, he is perfectly fine. He is generally seen as carefree as well as polite and nice to everyone but he leaves some distance with others until he is sure that the person is not willing to harm him at all. When he accept the person once, he becomes very attached to them. He is competitive in strange things such as when getting ready for going out or something like that.

background: When JiWon was 6 years old, there was a great hardship in his father’s company that the family had to sell lots of things they had and had to save as much as possible until the company’s situation got better. His father was always staying at the company, working as hard as possible to make the situation better and his mother had to work more as well. At home, JiWon’s sister had to take care of him and the days are still remembered by the whole family members, even JiWon, and it made them to remind themselves to work their best.

JiWon once had a big fight with his older sister that lasted for one month but he gave up first. When he was 11 years old, NaRae and him went to Malaysia with their mother for 3 years to broaden their thinking and learn about other cultures. It was not an easy thing to do but they got used to the environment easily and had fine time.

Since 2010, Jiwon and Na Rae started to live in their aunt Sol’s house which is located in Seoul as NaRae got into a university in Seoul and Jiwon went with her as their mother and father thought that if you study in Seoul, there will be more opportunities even though it is competitive.

audition information: In audition, Jiwon sang Huckleberry Finn’s ’Desert’. At first, the judges were looking at Jiwon funnily. It was because even though the vocal of ‘Huckleberry Finn’ had a low and husky voice, the vocal was still a woman and it was not common to see a boy saying that he will sing a song sang by a woman in audition. However, as he was singing, they heard it seriously and some even had a little smile on their mouth but Jiwon couldn’t see that as he was into singing. After Jiwon sang, the judges asked him to sing a small part of other song thus Jiwon sang Nemesis’s ‘Waltz of sad love’. Then, Jiwon had to show any other talent he has other than singing so he did some habitual behaviours some celebrities did on television programmes as similar as possible. The judges looked like as if they were thinking that Jiwon was quite unique participant. And, he has been in training for 2 months now.

how you met/meet: At first, they met in a hospital in Seoul in 2011. As Jiwon heard that his aunt was in hospital, he ran in the corridor to Sol’s room then he hit Mir, who was walking from the opposite direction. Both Mir, who was still recovering from his injury, and Jiwon fell to the floor. When Jiwon told sorry without looking at him and tried to again head to Sol’s room, Mir asked Jiwon to help him. Jiwon knew that it was his fault that this injured guy fell, he helped Mir to his room then went to his aunt’s room. After the debut, they met in one of broadcasting company and Mir recognize Jiwon first.
