I figured that I start to forget why I started one or another story of mine so I thought of just writing it down. And I thought to put it here, becasue why not. Maybe others can relate to me for having some weird inspirations coming literally from the most stupid things....

A small discalimer though: the inspirations might contain (little) spoilers for the stories. And not all of the stories I mention here are already published. (but hopefully will at some point of time)

Sunday Evening - I have no clue anymore....

The Day We Met - When I took the subway once after work I saw how a woman's umbrella got caught into some clothes of some random dude on the train. They  noticed it quite early and had to leave on the same station. So they tried to unravel the threads or whatever catched there

The Truth Of Our Imagination - Well, I really wanted to know if Vkook is real (plz bois be real xD) and thought of how nice it would be if I had the chance to talk to one of them.

Next To You - I can't remember the full reason but a strong "inspiration" was that I just think that Hyunho aren't really close. I mean of course on camera everything is nice and all, but I feel like sometimes their "real" relationship or their "real" self comes thorugh behind the facade. So I thought of just writing about "what's actually going on" something along these lines.

Days Gone By - I got the inspiration for this one quite long ago. When I watched Kimi No Na Wa (Your Name) I really hoped at the umbrella scene at the end where it's raining, that they wouldn't recognzie themselfes (which they did) and it would just end when they go their own ways. BUT at the end they met again, so it was a happy end.... but i don't like happy ends, so I made this instead. xD So basically I just needed a plot where I can kill of one of the characters to have them reborn and where they coincidally cross paths. But instead of finding each other like in the movie, they shall stay seperated.

The Distance Between Us - Similar to Next To You, I wanted to do a "what's actually going on behind the scenes" but also the aspect that Minho and Hyunjin aren't as close. And here it's more like an atempt to descripe what might have happened. I mean it's obviously not what happened back then. (for many reasons, but one already being that they weren't even close during the survival show). Also the next reason is at that time I was actually watching the Stray Kids Survival Show and I really enjoyed it.

Insomnia - *sigh* I can't remember again.... I just remember that I actually wanted to end it after Hyunjin fell asleep but while writing I had the idea of including some fluff

It'll never Last/ My First and (Maybe) Last - two things: one being Jonghyun's death and the other a Xiuhan OneShot I really liked. In the Oneshot Xiumin had a "secret" language and wrote something to Luhan which he didn't understand while they were together but only understood when it was too late. The secret language here is Chinese. But seriously I totally failed with adapting that concept.....) And as for Jonghyun: to be honest before that incident I didn't even know him. Of course I knew Shinee but never paid any attention to them. But since his disappearing was so sudden I included something of that in the story.

If Only You Knew - Another Anime serving as inspiration. Here it was the second season of Kami Nomi Zo Shiru Sekai (go watch the series, it's really nice) In the story it's very similar as to what happens to Keima and Chihiro but in my story there are some other things included, like the buket list.

Rotten - I watched a Reddid threat video on Youtube and there was a girl (?, I just assumed the gender I think) that literally wrote 1 sentence saying like she once got but nobody believed her. And well the rest is made up by me in the story.....

I forgot to update some inspirations:

Stuck in the past - I ain't gonna lie, I read an Ereri Teacher x Student fanfic (mr. ackermann and his charming student) and just wanted to write a teacher x student relationship myself as well. And i also like reincarnation concept, so i included that. I wrote that during my quarantine in Korea. Fun times.

Legacies- I was listening to a radio show and the mc talked about how the donations will be used for a hospital. And there he mentioned that he wants people to die with honor and a positive surrounding. While he was talking like that i thought about how it would be like for a nurse to see all their patients coming in and coming out of the patient rooms. They see the patients just for a certain time. Their patients will eventually leave. Be it at home or the graveyard. And I wanted to examine how, after seeing patients leave on an assembly belt, a person would act when they are finally the patient knowing that they won't be able to leave again.

Sweet Lies - damn, I don't remember again..... I just remember that i pretty much wrote it very spontaneously and that I started writing it because I was procrastinating.... oof.... but since i like cross dressing stories in general i maybe thought of including that as well. And maybe Faling For Her was also in a way an inspriation for it?

Unkept Promises/Blue Lemonde Ade - I saw a clip on Instagram where the Ramen guy from Naruto says he can eat a soup, but Naruto says that he has no money. The guy then says "You can pay me back when you're rich". And that sentence, or that scenario was the base for the story. I just continued writing this scenario.

In Another Life: I watched a Youtube Shorts where Sakura from Izone/Le Sserafim said that she met her father at a hand shake event in Japan. I used that scenario and made it Hyunho. I was thinking of various options, but in the end the route seemed the most dramatic/fitting?

Another (Working title): my dad told me a story about a marriage impostor he heard about on a radio. it's a real story and I thought it was a great opportunity to write a story with an unreliable narrator

When it's time to let go: I watched a youtube video where passerbys were asked about the worst thing they have been told. One guy said that his doctor told him he only had 3 more months to live, but that was already 5 months ago and now he is waiting for death to come. I thought that was super sad and used it as a story inspiration.

 

 

 

That are the inspirations so far. Maybe I am just weird, I don't know. Hopefully I can add some more when I remember or write another story... lol
