Personality: Due to her friendly disposition, Kallie gets along with others quite easily. She is good at making small talk and finding ways to connect with others through shared interests or similar opinions. Kallie is very empathetic and loves to give advice to people. She will take time to fully analyze a problem so that she can give the best advice possible. Due to her extremely competitive nature, Kallie always pushes herself to win and be the best at everything. She expects nothing less than perfection from herself and can be quite nit-picky as a result. Kallie refuses to ever quit or give up; in face she despises quitters the most. She reasons that her competitive nature allows her to take many more opportunities to learn and grow whether she wins or loses, but if she can avoid losing, she will do so to the best of her abilities. Kallie is also incredibly nosy and has a burning need to know everything, regardless if it concerns her or not. She is very talkative and loves to gossip, especially about relationship drama.

 

Background: Kallie is a local student who comes from an upper middle class family. Her parents are both scientific researchers and make a respectable living. Kallie chose to study at USC, because it's a respectable private university and it's also relatively close to home, so she can go back to do laundry and see her family. She will be attending USC Keck School of Medicine this upcoming fall.

Clubs and Societies: Kallie is the President of Circle K International (CKI), a community service club, and the Secretary of Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED), the pre-med honors society. She joined both organizations when she was a freshman four years ago.

Kallie wakes up at nine every morning and gets to campus by ten. As a Supplemental Instruction (SI) leader, she is required to attend the lectures for BISC 220, but she usually spends that time either preparing for her SI tutoring sessions or searching for voice acting auditions since this is her fourth time hearing these lectures. Kallie usually eats lunch at the Tutor Campus Center (TCC) and studies or answers emails from students for SI. After her SI tutoring sessions, she walks back to her apartment to eat dinner before walking back to campus for AED and CKI board meetings. After AED and CKI meetings, Kallie usually stays on campus to do administrative work or study until ten at night before walking back to her apartment. On Wednesdays and Fridays, she takes the intercampus shuttle to the Health Sciences Campus (HSC) to fulfill her weekly ten hours of lab research at the Broad CIRM Center (BCC). Once she's finished, Kallie takes the shuttle back to the University Park Campus (UPC) and walks to her apartment to eat dinner. She then stays up until three every night to study. On weekends, Kallie is usually at community service events for CKI in the morning and auditioning for voice-over roles in the afternoon. She goes out to eat dinner with friends in Koreatown or Little Tokyo in the evening. Every two weeks, Kallie drives back home to do laundry and study. She doesn't really have time to party, unless it's a special occasion like a close friend's birthday.

 

Accommodation: Kallie lives in a two-bedroom apartment with two other girls off-campus on Ellendale. She shares one of the bedrooms with her roommate since sophomore year while the single bedroom is occupied by a friend from high school.

• playing video games - She loves playing video games, especially Pokemon. She is one of the biggest Pokemon fans out there and has owned at least one title from each generation released since the third generation with her first being Pokemon Ruby Version. She also enjoys playing Super Smash Bros. when she is with her friends.

• watching anime - She has been watching anime since she was four, starting with the original game trio of Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Digimon. Her favorite genre is sports anime. Her love for anime is the reason she started learning Japanese in middle school and why she decided to start pursuing voice acting as a second career.

• reading - She is a bookworm and enjoys taking out a book to read whenever she has free time. Her favorite genres are fantasy and adventure, with dashes of romance and angst.

• writing - Ever since she was young, she has been writing short stories whenever she needs a break from studying. She has so many ideas dancing around in her head and her love for reading also contributes to her desire to create amazing worlds with her pencil.

• playing tennis - She was on the varsity tennis team in high school for four years and was Captain for two years. She didn't continue playing in college, choosing to focus on academics instead, but does like to play every now and then when she has free time. She prefers to play doubles and usually covers the right side of the court.

• She can out-eat anyone when it comes to all-you-can-eat Korean barbeque.
