I noticed a while ago that I was a "featured author" and had been allowed to set up a crowdfunding page on here to offer special perks in exchange for money. I was nervous about setting this up because money can be a sore subject for a lot of people. But thinking more about it, when I like a mobile game and want to unlock extra perks, I often sign up for the monthly subscription service cause I don't mind supporting something I like.

So for $1 a month you get recognized as a sponsor when I do monthly wrap up blogs (which I plan to start doing) and access to crowdfund-only feed posts (which I plan on including polls and other posts so you can have some say in maybe what kind of stories I write or post or what I update first, etc.)

$5 a month you get those same things as well as the ability to read all of my stories on a single page. So it will just load as one continuous page on your device instead of chapter by chapter if you want. As well as one-week early access to any story/chapter update I post. I will be making this setting apply for every story & chapter I post for now on so people who subscribe to this feel like they are getting something.

With me creating these options, I want to become more consistent on here and want to let myself enjoy writing stories to post on here. So I will be creating update schedules so that anyone who likes my stories will have a calendar they can follow to know when what is being posted or updated. I will post these update schedules as blogs, and they will either be weekly or monthly. 

I also want to post monthly wrap up blogs, just to check in on what stories I've posted and what the feedback is and how I felt about them and what my ideas for the future are. 

 

So I have a $1 and $5 monthly tier. I also created some one-time tiers where if you want me to write a particular story of a particular word count, you can. The rate for this is 1 cent USD per word. I think this is fair cause a professional writing word rate is more like 6 cents USD per word. But I know most people on here don't have mad cash like that so I think 1 cent per word is reasonable. These tiers also apply if you want me to update ANY of the stories on my profile, regardless if the story is marked complete or not. I thought some people who enjoy certain stories or one-shots and want more would be interested in this. And yes, you can tell me what you want to happen in the update. 

 

I've also thought about creating some sort of perk where you can get the pdf of a story. But right now it looks like if I used the option through crowdfunding it would let you have all of my stories as a pdf, which I don't feel comfortable with. If you have the pdf of my story, you technically can repost it anywhere without my permission and I would want to at least keep track of people who have the pdfs of my stories. That's part of the reason I always set my stories to subs only as well as also select the Block Text Selection and Right-Clicks option, to help prevent my stories from getting stolen. But, I know some people enjoy having the pdf of their favorite stories so they can access them easily and always have them in case of something happening to my account or their aff account or if aff ever glitches or shut down or got hacked or whatever else. So if anyone is interested in getting pdfs or my stories, I will look into some kind of way to offer that in a way I feel comfortable.

Please do not feel pressured to spend money especially if you don't have it. I will not judge or look down upon anyone who doesn't give me their hard-earned money. I'm just offering this in case anyone feels generous or takes interest in any of these perks. I work night shift at a manual labor job so I know the feeling of working hard for money. That's also why if I am able to make a little side hustle of something I love and do anyway, I would love to take advantage of it, especially since it's budget cut season and I had my hours cut lol.
