hmm so, today I posted a 1400 word thing, a short little thing I tapped out because I didn’t want to do chem readings and also because day6 is great, and I got the sweetest comment on it ;;

i have also gotten the most amazing comments on the one fic I wrote last year in April at like 3:30 and both were fics that I did not or only briefly read through before posting

i used to get moderate attention on the oneshots I would post when I was still into Exo or infinite or even super junior, because that spanned a while. And it’s making me rethink how I write and how I should go about writing

i have definitely tried more than once to write longer stories involving more planning but it never seems to work out, and it’s precisely why I like to work that makes it not work out

i like the raw, the true emotion, and when I try to plan stuff, it all fades into the background in order to let through plot, and man I hate that so much. But I still want to plan and write longer stuff, so what the am I supposed to do now?

the easy way is the treat every section like a oneshot but I’m not going to write a hundred oneshots of one thing lol. I’ll figure it out. But I also figured that since longer stories seem to be all the rage here, someone might benefit from my revelations.
