Minji can confidently say that she's an attractive person if anyone asks her. From her eye smiles and monolids that sweep people off their feet along with her cute smile, she's someone that a lot of the boys in her class have a crush on. She also has a some muscle in her build thanks to her regular visit to the gym as well as her balanced diet that she follows.

Throughout the years, Minji has experimented with a couple of colors for her hair style. However, in recent years, she's been seen sporting her usual black hair. She has straight long hair along with bangs to make her face appear smaller. The only piercings she has are one on each ear and only has one small tattoo on her right arm.

Minji's fashion style is simple and comfortable in easier words. She puts minimal effort put still enough so that she looks decent at the very least. Her wardrobe mainly consists of pastel colours as she doesn't really like strikingly bright colours or dark ones. She rarely goes out in heels and opts for sneakers or flats instead. She also doesn't wear a lot of accessories, finding them a hassle to handle.

Not a lot of people know what Minji is really like as a person as she's usually the social butterfly hopping from one group of acquaintances to another but to the few people that do know what she's actually like, Minji can be described to be a dependable person. Perhaps it's because she's the eldest sibling in her family but she's always known for being a very caring figure to others around her. She's a soft hearted person who can't help but care for those that she's around with. It's also worth noting that she's patient while dealing with problems or difficulties that arise, she won't rush others and will instead support them and help them along the way.

However, there's another side to Minji that even those around her aren't aware of. One of the things is that Minji has an insecure mind that sometimes can cause her to spiral with doubts and worries. She worries a lot over how she has a certain image to live up to, expectations placed on her and hopes that people have over her. It's one of the reasons why she's also paranoid to get closer to people, worried that once they get to know her - they'll expectations will be ruined and they will be disappointed with her. Of course, no one knows that she thinks about these kind of things - it's a secret she's hold on for so long, she's not going to easily let people into her life.

three — high heels. she has nothing against them except that they make her feet hurt and she doesn't like that. has only one pair and probably only worn them like 3 times since they were bought.
four — having dry hands. makes her more sensitive when touching things so she always makes sure her hands are well moisturized.
five — sleeping late. she likes to get enough sleep for the next day and tries her best to get her job down as fast as she can so she can get to bed on time.

one — bites her bottom lip whenever she gets nervous/anxious.
two — takes down notes a lot, it's a habit that happened during school since she was the class president and busy in other clubs. a notebook helped to keep everything in check and ever since then, she got used to writing down notes whenever she's around important people.

brainstorm - lived in incheon until she was 10 and moved to seoul. her parents quit their jobs and took over their grandparents restaurant. normal childhood, nothing major. famous in school for her looks and academic achievements. has a couple of boyfriends but none of them lasted very long. famous in uni for her looks. had a boyfriend when she was 19, he lived with her when they reached 1 year. broke up 5 years later, messy breakup. now she's taking a break from dating but it seems that she finally found the right person for her. 

Born in Incheon, Minji was the first born in the Bae family and welcomed her baby brother when she turned 3 years old. However, when her father decided he wanted a better life for his family - they packed their bags and moved to Seoul where her father and mother would then open their very own restaurant. Minji was only 10 when she moved away from Incheon and was suddenly introduced to a new environment where she had make new friends and adapt to the busy, fast city life.

However, Minji quickly grew in terms of popularity when she was in middle school due to her looks and academic achievements. "A pretty face with a pretty brain," was what they described her as and those words followed her up until she was in high school. A model student who became the class president throughout her high school days, president of the student council board and was one of the most popular students that even other schools' knew her name.

Minji wasn't a newbie in the love department either. She's had a few boyfriends during her teen years but most of them never really lasted as they couldn't deal that she was close to another particular boy. It's not until near her graduation day does she start dating Park Hyun, a close friend of hers since both of them were part of the student council board.

Thanks to her dedication in perfecting her education, Minji lands a scholarship to SNU where she takes up business as her main course and Hyun also manages to enter SNU along with her. At the age of 20, Minji moves out from her family's home and moves into an apartment with Hyun, a place that's nearer to SNU. And as Minji spends her time juggling between classes, a part-time job and spending time with Hyun along with her family members - time seems to move faster than she realized and suddenly she's turning 25 soon.

Sadly, as the 5th-anniversary of her relationship with Hyun gets closer - Hyun suddenly announces that he wants to break up with Minji. The break-up is messier than it's meant to be with Minji crying, screaming at him, asking him why - what was the reason. He doesn't answer and Minji packs her stuff and moves in with Seohee. It takes Minji a couple of weeks before she's able to straighten her head and she starts looking for her own apartment to stay in.

Now at the age of 25, Minji decides to take a break from dating and instead, focuses on spending quality time with her best friends and family. Who knows? Maybe if doesn't look for love it'll come to her in the most unexpected way.

hello minji! it's a pleasure to meet you. you can call me piri, i'll be interviewing you today. for your first task, introduce yourself, please! — "Hi, Piri. It's a pleasure to meet you," Minji smiles as she gives a slight bow, "I'm Bae Minji, second eldest in the family and I am currently in university taking programming as my main course and make games whenever I'm free." 

that's quite the introduction! now that we're all acquainted, lets start with the questions. minji, do you have a job? if so, where at, and walk us through a day in the life at work? — "I currently only have a part-time job where I work at weekends. It's a bookstore run by a family friend and I mostly just look after the cashier, help people find what they're looking for and arrange the new books we get in stock. I also have a gaming channel where I post bi-monthy, just once every two months about games and stuff. I spent most of my free time studying so there's not much in my life besides university."

Minji, what is your opinion on love? — Minji fixed her bangs just as the question is asked. "...My opinion on love..." she pauses, arranging the words in her head for a little bit. "Personally, I think love is both beautiful yet also fragile. Love is when a person becomes your entire world, your entire being, your everything and forever. Love is dangerous but at the same time, it is inevitable as it comes in many different forms. Love demands a lot and is still giving."

interesting enough. and how would you feel about falling in love?  — "It's not impossible," she chuckles, fiddling with her fingers, "I wouldn't mind falling in love. Everyone wants to experience it at least once in their life, the feeling of truly falling in love with someone. I think it would be nice."

Okay, what would you narrow your ideal type down to? in other words, what do you look for in a partner? — "My ideal type?" she waves Piri off, "I don't really think I have a specific type. But there are some things in a person that catches my eye. Such as the way they listen to me, how attentive are they about me and the things that I say... Do they listen to me or do they just listen to me to reply? A personal bond is what I look for or simply, how well the two of us get along."

oooohhh *wiggles around in seat* daaamn. that's the scoop! next question. how long would you like to be acquainted with somebody before you thought about moving onto the next level in a relationship? — "It depends on the person themselves," she starts thinking back on the last few relationships she's had over the past year, "In average, maybe 5-6 months? Just so you get a good overall view on how they act, interact  with the people around you and how they carry themselves." 

do you think life begins or ends at marriage? FURTHERMORE, WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ON MARRIAGE? — "I do understand that for some people, marriage isn't for them. Totally respect their own choices and opinions - let's just put that out to get the record straight. I think when you marry someone, a new chapter of your life is beginning. And I do think marriage is a good thing - I would like to marry someone in the future. Getting married to someone is kinda like telling the whole world that you're with this person for forever... That's a big statement." 

do you think it's okay to live with your partner without intending to marry them? — "... I don't necessarily think it's okay? Again, other people's choices - we respect that but I don't think it's a good idea."

do you prefer to stand out in a crowd? — "No, I like blending in," she smiles, an honest look on her face, "Standing out makes everyone aware of you and the attention can get not so nice. So, blending in is my way of living."

do you prefer an older or younger partner? — Minji lets out a cough, surprised by the question. "I'd say... whichever? Age doesn't really matter that much to me but... younger guys do look more attractive," she clears again. 

in life, what comes first to you?  — "What comes first to me? I think that would be the people closest to me - not necessarily family members only but also my closest and trusted friends," she runs a hand through her hair and mutters a low, "... I should probably put myself first..." 

have you ever cheated or been cheated on  in a realationship? if so, please explain. — "Nope, I'm proud to say that I have never cheated on any of my past partners and I don't intend to. I wasn't really cheated on by my last ex but he was already in love with someone else the last couple of months we were together. He didn't physically cheat on me, it was just his feelings changing."

are you good with children? — "Kids?" she squeals in delight, "I love kids! And yes, I'm pretty capale at taking care of children. I used to babysit my younger brother and my some younger cousins before so, I do have some skills to say the least."

do you think it's okay to lie, if you think you'll never get caught? — "This is going to make me sound like such a jerk but yes," she nods her head, "I think it's alright to lie. Of course, no one likes being lied to but sometimes, it happens and there's reasons for it." 

what would you do if your significant other fell in love with somebody else? — "It would definitely hurt, trust me - been there, done that. I did try to make him stay because I was still in love with him and I couldn't understand why he didn't want to try and make things work out. But it didn't work and our breakup was messier than it should've been. Learning my lesson, I suppose I'll just let them go to save myself from more heartbreak than necessary," the smile from her lips falter for a moment as she sighs.

Not even me or our mom can do anything to make him change his mind once he's set on it... Minji and Jinyoung are probably the only people who can get through to him. One of the reasons why he's so well-liked back in high school. But, I'm pretty sure he likes teasing Kyung the most since he gets the best reactions out of her. You still should be careful around him though, he can get kind of aggressive if you push his buttons far enough - it's not a pretty sight. I think it happened when he found out some guys were messing around Kyung and his sister? He got suspended for fighting another student but no one made a big deal on it. first meeting — Minji can still remember the day she met Jaebum. It was when she was around 10 and their family had only recently moved into the new neighbourhood, still in the process of settling down. Her younger brother, who was only 7 at the time came home late from school - dragging an unfamiliar boy along with him. Jinyoung introduced the boy as their neighbour and his new best friend, Jaebum. Jaebum showed a bright smile as he introduced himself to Minji and she would admit that he was definitely cute. Their first meeting wasn't anything special, just two kids getting to know one another.

the love story — Minji spent a lot of her childhood years hanging around the Im family since her parents were always busy running their restaurant. Naturally, she became best friends with Seohee and Jaebum due to them spending many hours together. Jaebum was like the brother from another mother and Minji was always down to hangout with him, granted the 4 of them always went out together for anything. Minji treated him like a little brother but Jaebum would often show acts that would prove that he was slightly more mature compared to peers his age such as being able to have in depth conversations with Minji when they were alone, giving good advices and being the one to cheer Minji up whenever she showed that she wasn't in the best mindset.

It wasn't until both of them entered high school did Minji realized she was especially close to Jaebum to the point they were swept with rumours once. They would arrive at school together with Jaebum cycling his bike along with Minji sitting behind him, he would visit her class during recess and would often wait for her whenever they went home. Although they would often argue that they just had a sibling-like relationship, even Jinyoung and Seohee would disagree with them. Minji brushed them off, saying that Jaebum was just a close person in her life - someone she cared about and knew cared about her in return.

He was the first person she would call if she had any troubles, the person she texted daily and the only person she could share a silent atmosphere with. Although Jaebum was the younger one, Minji often felt like she was being the one taken care of when it should have been in reverse. He made sure she ate well every day, scolded her whenever she made mistakes or was in the wrong, took care of her when she was sick and was the shoulder she leaned on when things got rough. Even when she moved out of the house to a smaller apartment closer to her university, they still kept in touched through video calls and frequent messaging.

Minji began to cling to him even more after she broke up with her 5-year boyfriend on the day of their 5th anniversary. She turned off her phone on that day, missing probably hundreds and hundreds of phone calls from one particular person. As she was drowning her sorrows with alcohol in the small tent smelling of late-night snacks, Jaebum found her - he was sweating and panting as he locked his eyes with hers. Her first reaction to seeing Jaembum was to bursts into tears and instead of scolding her for going missing all of a sudden, he put his arms around her. He didn't even ask as to why she was crying and just let her bawl as much as she wanted while his own heart was cracking to see someone he cared and loved so much being such a mess.

Jaebum would then continue to be the support pillar for Minji to the point that he moved into her apartment because he was too worried over her. It would around this time did Minji's feelings for Jaebum begin to shift, it was during this time did Minji began to look at Jaebum as more than just a childhood friend of hers. Now living under the same roof with him, his smile seemed to dazzle her even more than before and just seeing him would make her heart beat a little faster. She started thinking about how Jaebum had always been the person she didn't even need to look for when she needed help, he just seemed to appear when she needed him. She could think of no other person or man that could compare to Jaebum, he was the best thing that's ever happened to her and she couldn't believe it took her this long to realize that.

And it was the same on Jaebum's part, there was a sense of comfort and longing he felt with Minji - something that he knew was always there but never truly realized. He would catch himself staring at her a little longer, became excited whenever she was at home with him and felt that he was ever so peaceful just being around her. He wanted to protect Minji from being hurt again and he could only think of himself as the best choice for her - he knew her the best, she was the closest person in his life and both of them knew the other like the back of their hand. He doesn't want to let his precious Minji get hurt by another bastard, not if he can help it.

As of right now, the two of them are still trying to figure things out between them. There's certainly subtle slight flirting and tension between them but they still have their worries over what happens if they take that next step forward. But for right now, they aren't going to let go of one another.
