Although Chen's marriage announcement happened few days ago, I was too busy to follow it. Sunday when I got some time to do nothing at all, I went through news articles about Chen, his fiancee and the baby. What really bothered me or I should say made me laugh were the K-Netz and their comments. They think that he did something inappropriate. 

Honestly, I was really mad at the netizens for being irrational but I realised something else. Those expectations that society holds from the idols is due to the fake ”Holy ” image that companies create for these artists. Entertainment companies should start promoting real people and not manufactured people. This could also help with the mental health of idols as they can be who they want to be. 

People should remember K-pop idols are real people. They are entertainers, entertaining people is their ’profession’ and profession or work is a part of life and not the other way around. Their entire life is not their profession. A K-pop idol or anyone else does not owe their life to any other person in this entire universe. 

Getting rid of fake images will not only help the idols but also the part of their fanbase that's impressionable. People might ask ”who are they to feel bad?” but I would like to point out that the way idols are made to behave a certain way similarly these kids are made to believe that the idols are actually what they portray themselves to be. 

Entertainment companies should start promoting artists for their talents and not ”packs of boys or girls” from where people get to pick their crush.
