Hardworking and self-critical : Leslie gives her all in performing as she wants to be a perfect idol so Jeonsik will stop hurting her. She makes sure to practise until she can remember all the lyrics and hit all the right notes or memorise every move of a choreography and execute it perfectly before she goes for evaluations, often staying up long after the other members to practise alone. And when she doesn't do as well as she wants herself to, she gets upset.

Cheerful : Leslie is always laughing and smiling infront of her members and fans, as she doesn't want them to worry for her, knowing that they would be hurt if they knew she was suffering.

Sensitive : Because Leslie knows exactly what it feels like to suffer, she is easily hurt by others' suffering. She doesn't understand why people would want to hurt others, whether intentionally or unintentionally.

Friendly : Leslie loves getting to know others and she believes the best way to do so is by talking to them, about anything under the sun. Infront of fans, she is very talkative, and if possible, she tries to make small talk with them.

Anxious : Going along with Leslie being afraid of failure, she tends to constantly worry that she will mess up enormously, and Jeonsik will do something bad to her when she does.

Cowardly and timid : Despite her suffering, Leslie doesn't dare to make Jeonsik angry for fear he will terminate her contract, or harm her life. Her members are all she has, and she doesn't want to lose them. Therefore, she keeps her true feelings and opinions to herself for fear of breaking their relationship if they found out how she felt.

Protective : Going along with not wanting to lose her members, if someone tries to harm them, Leslie will come for them mercilessly. She doesn't mind Jeonsik using her as a punching bag, but she'll never let him harm her members.

Kind and selfless : Despite her suffering, Leslie wants to make the people she loves happy, because she knows exactly what it feels like to not be happy. She never fails to give her loved ones or people she finds cool words of encouragement when needed, even if she can't say much. She tries her best to show genuine love to everyone around her, even sacrificing herself to make them happy.

background: Leslie was born in 1995 in Upper Thompson, Singapore.

By influence of her secondary school friends, Leslie attended a year’s worth of cosplay conventions before finally beginning to cosplay herself in 2010. In 2014, the heyday of idol anime Love Live, she became a founding member of dance group Nine Mile Station, who set out to cover Love Live dances. That was also the year Leslie entered university, choosing to study literature because she enjoyed it instead of going to law school like her parents hoped she would. Although this earned Leslie several naggings from her parents saying that it would be a "useless" degree, she told them she could teach literature after graduating, and they warned her that she had better make good her word.

Nine Mile Station eventually fragmented due to internal conflicts between the members, disbanding officially in 2017. Around this time, Leslie graduated from university, and while on her graduation trip to Korea, she was spotted by a scouter of KJS Entertainment. With this move, she traded the prospects of her teaching career for one in performing.

In 2019, Leslie debuted as a member of Voltage after two years of training.

lifestyle: on off days, leslie mostly catches up on sleep, as idol activities leave her with little sleep, what more having a monster ceo who keeps her awake at night. if she has time, she might do cosplay makeup tests or practise playing her guitar.
leslie also plays the mobile rhythm game bang dream, and uses her off days to grind at the game to earn stars and read the stories. she also takes some time to go to the gym or swim.

in a way, lester keeps leslie going despite how much she suffers, because when she chose to get a degree in literature, her parents said it would be useless, and when lester himself took accounting in university, leslie ended up being compared negatively to him, even more so after leslie completed her degree and decided to become an idol instead of a literature teacher like she promised them she would be. despite the comparisons, however, they get along well, and leslie makes sure to text lester when she's free. she doesn't tell her brother about her problems because she doesn't want him to worry for her, and more importantly, to prove her parents that becoming an idol wasn't the right path for her.

leslie knew idol trainings were intense and everything she did would be highly controlled, but she didn't mind. she was a favourite among the trainers because she was pretty, and kept herself slim and fit like idols are expected to. in fact, that got her noticed by kjs' ceo, kim jeonsik himself.

jeonsik would drop in on the practises in person to see how the girls were doing, and when he saw leslie, he was instantly captured by her good looks and slim body. after his first time seeing leslie practise, jeonsik called her to his office and told her she had potential, but she should show her body more, because she was pretty and had a good figure. that was also when jeonsik forced himself on leslie for the first time, and warned her that if she spoke a word of what happened, he'd terminate her contract instantly.

fearing that she would prove her parents right about her being playful, immature and pursuing "useless" career paths, leslie of course, said nothing about what jeonsik did. and for the next two years, he continued calling leslie to either his office, his car or anywhere nobody would see the two of them. he was rough, and leslie often sustained bruises, but she just covered them with makeup and covered the pain in her heart with a smile on her face.

after two years, leslie debuted as a member of voltage, and remained jeonsik's personal toy. thanks to the risque concepts jeonsik forces the girls to do in their mvs, leslie is doing well as an idol, but she's not sure if this is what she wants anymore.
