Appearance. This does not need to be detailed. Key note details such as height and anything in particular that differs from your faceclaim. You can also make note of specific fashion or styles they prefer.

Youngmin stands at a whopping 175 cm tall and weighs about 61 kg. He has light brown hair which he styles into messy parted bangs usually just lets it fall down when he is late for class. He wears round-framed glasses for the sake of style and because had gotten used to it. He doesn't really need them as his vision is clear as the sky. He's got a fit and built body due to all the physical activities he does but it isn't obvious due to how covered he is with his fashion which consists of a lot of hoodies, sweatshirts, long-sleeved shirts, and pairing them with either black skinny jeans or denim pants.
Personality
(+)Protective, Sociable, Caring, Insightful
(+/-)Ambitious, Tough
(-)Stubborn, Short-tempered, Impulsive, Secretive

Your boy Youngmin is the man to have as a friend if you experience a lot of hate from people like bullies, gossip queens, and just plain rude people. If he sees one of his friends/family being attacked, he gets very defensive and will protect them like how an animal would protect their pack members. He also dislikes seeing those who hurt the weak and is ready to protect them in a blink of an eye.

Youngmin isn't the type to shy away from social interaction or social events. He is very active and loves participating in events like parties, get togethers, road trips, or just hanging out at some place with some of his friends. He is very likeable in a social sense since he interacts with a lot of people, getting to know their interests and he knows how to work in a conversation by letting the other speak first before adding your own insights to it.

He looks out for his family and friends. When he sees that they are struggling he would offer his help and do what he can to assist them in any way. He is also their personal cheerleader whenever they feel down and need a bit of boost in confidence. He is down to listen if you wanna talk about something or just need to vent out your feelings.

He's got a pretty good understanding of people and can easily spot when someone isn't doing so good. He can tell by someones body language or even by the way they talk. He's been able to solve problems by assessing the situation and reading in on people to know how they feel so that he can say the right words or do the right thing to solve it. He's been able to break up fights between neighbors due to this.

Youngmin has this fire going on inside of him when he wants to succeed at something. If he wants to win in a marathon that would be held in a few weeks, then you bet you'd see him practicing for that every single day before that event. He will go above and beyond to succeed and will express it accordingly as well. No matter what the obstacle, he will do his absolute best and even push himself past his limit to achieve his goal.

He isn't stone cold when it comes to being tough. Tough for him means that he is mentally strong and quite mature. He doesn't wait for an apology to forgive someone. He will do his best to keep his feelings, especially his temper, in check when dealing with toxic people. And he isn't a pushover either because he knows when to say "no" to someone.

Youngmin is an unstoppable force once he puts his mind on something. When someone else puts out a point, he'd point out all the reasons why that point is wrong. He half-heartedly commits to the requests of others because he has an entirely different plan on his own that he'll do without the others consent.

He was always one to have a short fuse. He isn't easily ticked off with the smallest things like minor insults or sarcasm but if taken too far then he will blow. His angry side usually consists of him opening up his vocabulary to some very colorful choice words that are unappealling in a formal context but are very proper in a casual conversation with pirates. The only good thing is that he doesn't get violent, well at least not with people, he's got his own punching bag at home where he relieves his stress and calms down or he'd just go to rooftop of a high building and yell out all his frustrations.

His words would usually slip out of his mouth when he just can't hold it back or didn't actively try to hold it back. We all know that there are times when we have to keep our mouths shut no matter how much we wanna say something but Youngmin has problems doing so. He would spew out the words that were supposed to be kept inside because of his impulsive nature which usually leads to unwanted situations.

Its been his thing not to show anyone when he is having a hard time. He hides his sad emotions with a fake smile or a simple "I'm fine, see.". He doesn't want people to waste their time trying to help him because he doesn't want to be a burden. He also has the mindset that men are supposed to be emotionally tough and that he isn't supposed to express his sad emotions. Don't get him wrong, if he sees a guy doing this he won't judge it is just his personal volition to do so.
Background

Youngmin was born an only child which meant all the attention was focused on him. He grew up with two loving parents by his side who guided him as he grew up and supported him with the decisions he made. Youngmin grew up to love action movies and would always watch them on TV whenever one was on or whenever an action movie came out in cinema, he would plead for his parents for them to watch it as soon as they can. He absolutely loved the fight scenes and the intensity of the movie all-in-all. When he found out that there were schools that taught martial arts you bet your that he went up to his parents with the most puppy dog eyes asking them if they could let him take those classes. It took time for his parents to decide upon it but they eventually let the boy take the classes on the condition that he didn’t use what he learned just to hurt other kids and that he would also study hard, it was also a good chance for him to learn self-defense if ever the situation came to it. The kid wanted to become a cop someday to apprehend all the criminals and be just as badass as those cops on tv.

One of the biggest things he had to control during those classes was his temper. His parents already saw that their child had a temper, so they told the teacher about it beforehand and the teacher ensured them that they’d deal with it accordingly. This is where Youngmin practiced how to control his emotions especially anger. His instructor told him that when in a fight, his only goal was to apprehend the opponent and he wouldn’t be able to achieve that if he was angry. Youngmin was compliant with it and with years of practice he has gotten better at it as well as better at the class. For his hard work, his instructor had gifted him a quarterstaff which they taught him how to utilize as well in other lessons. Bullies in his school didn’t even dare approach him because they knew he could whoop their butts.

In his neighborhood, they had a small group of volunteers for the neighborhood watch. They would go around the neighborhood at night to check if things are alright and to make sure nothing illegal was happening like break-ins or any fights between drunken people. Youngmin wanting to be a cop someday saw this as an opportunity to hone his skills for when he becomes a cop. At first his parents were against it because he would be staying up really late and what if he got hurt but Youngmin assured them that he would be fine and that they have nothing to worry about.

He was a great addition to the watch since he was younger and faster than the other members. He practically memorized all the routes in the neighborhood so whenever someone reports a burglar broke into their home or if they catch see one running away, Youngmin knew exactly where to go to catch up with the guy. Needless to say, his efforts have earned him great respect among his neighbors and the kids look up to him as well.

This did come with some drawbacks with him sleeping really late at night and sometimes even after midnight. He would wake up not fully rested and sometimes his parents would have to wake him up just so he wouldn’t be late. He’d get to school still needing more sleep to actually listen to the discussion causing him to sleep throughout most of the lessons. He knew his parents would kill him if they found out that he was missing out on the lectures but thanks to a godsend he didn’t have to worry about this problem since there was this person who was more than happy to share their notes and spend their time teaching him about the lessons he had slept through.

There came the time where he was walking back to his place from school and saw his friend waiting by the pedestrian crossing with their backs turned to him. He saw the pedestrian light flash green and his friend start to walk but he also noticed a car speeding right towards his friend with no sign of stopping. With a burst of speed, he was by his friend’s side and pulled them aside in time before the car hit them.
His friend thanked him for saving their life, but this wasn’t Youngmin’s concern right now. He saw the distance between him and his friend. There was absolutely no way he was going to make it but somehow, he did. He walked his friend home and went on his way home thinking nothing of the incident than maybe just a really big adrenaline rush.

That night it happened again. While he was with the watch, they heard a report about a burglar running through a street close-by and within seconds Youngmin was there spotting the criminal holding the bag with the stolen goods. He immediately apprehended the man and waited for the others to show up. The other members commended him for his speed. Now Youngmin knew that this wasn’t normal, and also, he was feeling a lot more tired than usual which eventually lead to him sleeping through class the next day.

After school he went on to the watch and told them that he had some schoolwork to do so he wouldn’t be joining them for that night which they were alright with. Youngmin wanted to confirm his suspicions about this “ability” he had which had gone off for at least 2 times now. He started with running from the base of a hill up to the top which he did in a short amount of time. He was amazed by this and did all sorts of things that night which made him discover that not only did he have supernatural speed but also, strength, stamina, endurance, reaction time, and durability. He also knew the drawbacks of this power but thought that it was fine. Boy did he learn the hard way that the drawback his powers gave him wasn’t to be taken lightly.

During the weekend, he used this activated this ability up to five times because he had been helping the neighborhood by running errands for his neighbors which were usually to get things from the city. Once he was finished and he deactivated his ability, he felt the exhaustion wash over him but not for long as he collapsed right in front of his house. He was taken to the hospital and woke up the next day. His parents were there, and they scolded the hell out of him when he woke up. The doctor informed them that he passed out because of exhaustion due to strenuous activity and usually patients with this case have to rest for a few days or so but according to the doctor, Youngmin was able to recover in just a single day which is fascinating but the doctor still recommended that he take a day or two to rest. Youngmin knew that the doctor knew what he was talking about because he himself didn’t feel tired at all, but he did feel sore which must be another drawback. He stubbornly set a reminder for himself that the limit was five times in a single day.

With his newfound powers, he was a thousand times better at his night watch duties. The other members knew about his dreams and his ambition to become a cop and they commended him for his skill saying that he would make a fine officer one day.

During one of his rounds at night, he had caught sight of a man scrambling to get inside his car and starting the engine. A woman screaming for help came out of the house the man came out of saying that the man was a thief who had just stolen some precious artifacts from her home. At this point, the man had already drove a good distance away from them. With no time to think, Youngmin aimed his quarterstaff at the one the rear wheels of the car before throwing it. A resounding pop was heard when the quarterstaff pierced the wheel of the car which spun out of control and ended up hitting the trunk of a tree.

Upon approaching the car, the hood was completely destroyed along with the engine. Youngmin was about to bring out the man in the driver’s seat but saw that a metal piece had stabbed the man in the chest. Youngmin checked for a pulse but it was too late, the man was dead. The rest of the night watch came and called the police to handle the situation while Youngmin stood silently with his head down. He just killed someone. He didn’t mean to do it. If he hadn’t thrown his quarterstaff, then the guy would’ve gotten away, but he didn’t want this to happen. He didn’t want to kill the man. Seeing him in this state, one of the members brought him home and told him to get a good night rest and not to think about it that much. If it weren’t for the drawbacks of his powers, he wouldn’t have been able to fall asleep.

That night he had gotten a rather strange dream, he was with a bunch of people and they were fighting off others who had powers as well but then in a flash it was all gone, and he had woken up. He had been getting dreams like that ever since his powers were awakened but the previous dreams weren’t as clear as this one. He didn’t think about it at first since it could just be a silly dream. Thinking about the incident the night before, he couldn’t even find the strength to get out of bed and face everyone. He didn’t respond when his parents talked to him. They knew about the incident and expected something like this to happen so when he didn’t get out of his room, they just let him be for today since missing a single day of class wouldn’t be the end of the world but that wasn’t it. It wasn’t just one day, it was an entire week of him just in his room, thinking about that incident. Eventually he had gone back to school, but he wasn’t the same. He stopped joining the night watch, when he slept in class, he didn’t bother to go to his friend about it even if his friend wanted to help, but he declined. He was in a dark spot right now. He thought “What good of a cop would I be if these powers would just in the way? What if I continue to hurt or worse kill others with it?”. What once were powers he treasured now are abilities he wished were gone.

He was ready to give up on his dream, but fate had other plans. Every night, he kept having dreams of him and others who had powers battling it out with similar people. It seemed pretty real to him and through these dreams he could see that the people he was up against had evil intentions. He wakes up just before they could clash again. He woke up knowing that this wasn’t a coincidence. I mean come on, the same dream for three weeks straight. That is a sign if Youngmin has ever seen one. It was telling him that he was destined for something even greater. In that dream he was told that he was a Star of Earth and the duties that come with it. Youngmin saw it as a chance to prove to himself that his powers are for good and one little mistake shouldn't get in the way of his dreams.

Relationships
Ji Hyunjae(Father) and Ji Younghee(Mother) :: Both 44 :: Parents :: Caring, Supportive, Understanding, Optimistic  ::  Youngmin is very close with his parents. They don't have any bad blood between each other. His parents were always the supportive type of parents when it came to their sons dreams and they wholeheartedly supported him. They care about their son a lot which is why they were worried when he joined the neighborhood night watch knowing that it could be dangerous but they agreed when he assured him that he'd be fine. They are quite proud of their son and his achievements in the neighborhood and they feel like they've been doing a great job at raising him.

Suprisingly, he never told his parents about his abilities nor his destiny. He figured that they would try and stop him because they think that what he needs to do is too dangerous and as parents, they don't want to lose their child. He knows that someday he'd have to tell them but right now, he is keeping it a secret.

Kwon Sihyun :: 19 :: Love Interest :: Helpful, Patient, Clumsy, Indecisive :: Chuu(LOONA) :: Sihyun is Youngmin’s deaf classmate and seatmate as well. Sihyun was the godsend that helped Youngmin every time he fell asleep during class. Sihyun also lives in the same neighborhood as Youngmin and knows that he is part of the neighborhood watch which she is thankful for since he once succeeded in catching a thief who had stolen some precious artifacts from their home. At first, they weren’t really all that close, just seatmates who usually only interact when they greet each other in the morning and say goodbye when class is over. They got closer when Sihyun she started teaching Youngmin after class. Her reason being that she has seen how hard he works and how dedicated he is to achieve his dream, she thought that it would be sad to see him fail just because he was working hard. With all the times they’ve spent studying together, they eventually became really good friends. Youngmin even learned sign language just so he could easily communicate with her.

Sihyun was always there for him whenever he needed her. She would wake him up whenever the teacher was about to catch him sleeping so that he can avoid being scolded. If ever they didn’t have time to study at the library, she’d just let him borrow her notes so that he can read upon them on his own. During the time when Youngmin was mopey about killing a guy, Sihyun came to visit and told him she wouldn’t leave until she saw a smile on his face or until his parents ask her to leave. During that time, she would drag him around to places where she knew he loved being in, doing stuff she knew he would enjoy, and even marathoning his favorite movies, the Rush Hour movies. He was sincerely touched by how dedicated she was to lift up him up from the dark place he currently was at.

Love Story:
Right after he was out of his gloomy state was when he realized that he had developed feelings for her. All that time he spent with her lead to him developing feelings for her. Feelings that he discovered once he started to feel different around her. He would have the tendency to stare at her while she writes down her notes and find everything she does adorable/cute. A single thought about her would leave his heart a beating mess. He always wants to be with her, and he gets jealous when he sees her with another guy. He’d thought about courting her multiple times but ever since he found out what his destiny was, he wasn’t so sure about it.

He turned to his parents when making the decision and needless to say, they were tons of help and that was the little push he needed to actually confess his feelings for her. To be honest, his parents already thought they had a thing going on seeing how they are together most of the time. The confession was a success to say the least. He first said the confession too fast for Sihyun to even understand through lip reading. After not understanding what he wanted to convey, she told him that he needed to slow down and sign so that she would understand. And he did. With each word that came out of his mouth and each sign he made, his heart was pounding like crazy and he was afraid it was gonna burst out of his chest, but he managed to finish. With each passing moment of silence, Youngmin grew more and more worried. What if she says no? What if she didn’t feel the same? What would become of their friendship then? All those worries died out when she gave him a reassuring smile and began to speak and sign saying that she reciprocated his feelings. That as the day they started off as a couple.

She was actually the first to find out that he had extraordinary powers. He revealed it to her during one of their dates and she also knows about the drawbacks. So, she checks up on him from time to time to see if he is doing alright and not using too much of his powers as to cause another trip to the hospital.

Status: In the first stages of being a couple.

Lee Sowoon :: 29 :: Friend :: Check out his app :: Ji Chang Wook :: Collab with wavycrew :: Kind, Playful, Calm, Patient

Youngmin met Sowoon through the neighborhood night watch. He wasn’t a regular member, but he did do rounds with them on some nights. Youngmin was thrilled to have an actual police officer on the watch even if it were just from time to time. During rounds with him, he would usually talk with the guy about all things police related and even ask him about some interesting stories he has being an officer. Youngmin has also expressed his dream of being an officer like him someday which Sowoon admired as the kid was still young but so ambitious. Through many rounds in the neighborhood, they’ve developed a brotherly friendship and got to know each other pretty well.

Sowoon was one of the people who checked up on Youngmin as soon as he heard about the incident. He knew that it did something to the poor kid and that situations like this won’t just go away immediately but he did what he could by comforting him about it and telling him that scenarios like this are bound to happen in this line of work so he shouldn’t beat himself about it. Youngmin greatly appreciated it and it did help with his mental recovery.

PowerPhysical Augmentation
AlternateEnhanced Condition
Description

This ability can be activated at will by Youngmin. When this ability is active, it enhances Youngmin's physical capabilities. He is faster, stronger, sharper, more alert, can endure more, can handle strenuous activity that is too much for a regular person, and doesn't feel pain until the ability deactivates. His powers deactivate automatically if he isn't doing anything strenuous for five minutes or he can deactivate it early or he reaches the limit of 1 hour.

The drawbacks to this ability is that once he is done using it, he will feel not only all the pain he was supposed to feel when his powers were activated but also exhausted. Although if he uses the ability again, these effects are suspended until he deactivates it again.

He can utilize this ability five times in a single day but after that fifth use, he'd be drastically exhausted and would most likely pass out in a few minutes. Activating it for a sixth time would lead to his death after its duration. He would have a few minutes before his body finally gives into the effects of activating it for the 6th time. He doesn't know this but has a feeling that it would come to this if he ever does so.

As stated in the background, no matter from 1 to 5 uses of this ability, it would only require a single days worth of rest for him to wash off the exhaustion then he could use it again.

Limitations
Duration : He can maintain this Physically Augmentated state for a maximum of 1 hour only. The power drops instantly after an hour and the effects reel in. (I could add a way that he could increase this time limit if necessary).

Augment Statistics:
- Strength : In terms of raw physical strength, he goes from the average 175 lbs carrying to a whopping 10 tons.

- Speed : He ranks at 700 mph when it comes to speed which is just 63 mph off to breaking the speed of sound.

- Durability : He can withstand great impacts, such as falling from a height of several stories or being struck by an opponent with super strength. Events which would severely injure or kill a normal human, leave him with little to no discomfort.

- Reflex : Youngmin's reflexes are greatly enhanced and are forty times better than an average human. This allows him to dodge most attacks, or even gunfire, given sufficient space.

-Pretty popular around the neighborhood not only because he is part of the night watch but also because he runs errands for his neighbors as well
-Mess with any of his friends and he'll break your bones
-He loves action movies
-More of a sweets type of guy
-Can't handle really spicy food
