Calm : Chaehee is not someone to lose her temper easily. Even if she is raging inside, she won't say a word.

Caring : Though you'll probably never hear her say "I love you" out loud, Chaehee cares for her loved ones, but in small ways like making sure they've brushed their teeth, eaten their meals or wishing them good luck before important things, and scolding them when they are reckless.

Passionate : Chaehee gives her all in performing as it's been her dream for a long time. She thinks performing isn't something to be taken lightly, and makes sure to get everything right during every performance.

bAckground. Chaehee was born to a pair of upper middle class parents who were crazy over status, and believed that if Chaehee was a child prodigy, they could one-up their neighbours. Since the age of five, Chaehee was sent for piano and ballet lessons. At her young age, she enjoyed them, and put all her effort into them.

When Chaehee started elementary school, she was sent to tuition classes in addition to normal schooling, alongside her piano and ballet lessons. With how hard she had to work to get good grades in school, Chaehee no longer found joy in piano and ballet. She asked her parents if she could stop taking the piano and ballet lessons, but they insisted for her to continue, saying those skills which would help her get ahead of others in the future. They were partially right, as at the age of 10, Chaehee was scouted by a spotter for JYP Entertainment at one of her ballet lessons.

Chaehee trained at JYP Entertainment for many years, but never managed to debut and decided to leave for another company. In 2016, she was accepted to Cube Entertainment Source Music. Now that Produce 101 has a new season, Chaehee has been chosen as one of Cube's Source Music's representatives.

TRAINEE YEARS.

— 2006-2017 (JYP) 2017- current (Cube)

TRAINEE BACKGROUND. 

— Chaehee was accepted to JYP Entertainment in 2006, which was something she wasn't really happy or unhappy about, but at least she found some enjoyment in music and dance now that she was doing it for her parents and not herself. Finally, she had a dream that was her own, not her parents'. Wonder Girls debuted the year after Chaehee joined JYP, Chaehee tried to mind that she was not chosen, after all she only trained for a year, becoming a perfect idol takes years and years of training.

When Chaehee was not chosen for Miss A, she tried not to be upset again, after all she was still too young. It was also slightly better that an older girl called Heeyeon was there for her. Heeyeon was one of the few people in JYP who was nice to Chaehee, everyone else just seemed to want to improve themselves and debut fast without any regard for others. And Chaehee wouldn't deny that Heeyeon was the prettiest girl she had ever seen. Over time, Chaehee started to care for Heeyeon too.

2015 came and JYP decided it was time to debut a new girl group, but decided to make a survival show to choose the members. Chaehee and Heeyeon were chosen to participate but unfortunately dropped out. Seeing that it seemed that her career in JYP was going nowhere, Heeyeon decided to leave JYP, resulting in a vehement argument with Chaehee. Nevertheless, Heeyeon decided to do what she felt would be best for her and leave, breaking Chaehee's heart.

Chaehee decided not to care about Heeyeon and continue working hard. However, when 2017 came round and JYP formed a new project group without even considering Chaehee at all, Chaehee decided to leave JYP too. However, she decided not to let all her years of training go to waste, and decided to try auditioning for other companies. She was lucky enough to be accepted to Cube Entertainment Source Music, and to get chosen by them to participate on Produce 101 in 2019.
