❇2000 - she was only five when she get to go on her first concert during the country's national day where father carried her over his shoulder to watch the artists performing which one of them was malaysia's sweetheart; dato siti nurhaliza. clover was star-strucked that she fell in love with her voice and wanted to sing well just like the singer. since then, her ambition is already set in stone and nobody can change her mind.

❇2002 - a hyper seven year old who enjoys her primary school days well. she was busy colouring her ABCs when her mother picked her up in her class. they went straight to the hospital where her father was in his last hours of being alive. clover didn't understand one bit on why her mother was trying to hold back her tears and her father on the hospital bed.

"ai jia, please listen to your mama well, okay? you need to protect her and guard the house. can do that for me?"

❇2009 - clover's dance team was competing amongst other teams in the finals in south korea. her team won second and a yg agent approached her and her mother as they were leaving the venue, giving his card to them as he told them to think of the audition. at that time, clover has no idea of any k-pop artist that she knows for she has only love only western artists other than the local artists. the two stayed for another week to find a song to audition with. after looking through all youtube, the song that she could sing is the english version of wonder girl's nobody which is what she decided to perform on the audition other than miley cyrus's the climb.

upon arriving at the company building, they went towards the floor of where the audition is held. clover did her vocal exercises and final warm-ups and went in after her name is called.

after her perfomances, her heart thumped loudly as she catch her breath and stood straight. the judges looked impressed and told her to wait for the results in a few hours time.

— despite her offensive stance in first sight, jane is actually a very warm-hearted person all in all. even though clover's career path seems to be quite impossible, she still lets her daughter to spread her wings and find her interest since she has quite a bunch of them. she visits her husband's grave on specific days; his death anniversary, his birthday and on clover's birthday.

— she knew jiae way before jason, meeting her on her first day of training. jiae already training there for 2 years showed her the ropes. while she was walking out from the cafeteria, she accidentally found jiae's notebook of drawings on a table. even though satisfaction brought the cat back, clover didn't want to pry with the girl's privacy so she gave it straight to jiae after their vocal class. jiae was touched by her gesture and she knew that she can trust clover.

she was about fourteen when she moved to korea alone. her mother made sure of her daughter being safe there before going back to malaysia.

and there was clover; all alone in a new and foreign country. she was fine in the first few months but then home sickness hit her hard. jiae was one of the first people to realize this and helped her out to adjust in korea.

her basics in her vocal classes are all covered so she focuses more on her acting. she was in the first line up for yg's girl group alongside jiae, hana, aerin and the current members.

her heart thumped loudly inside her and she was nervous when they're about to announce them.

as rose's name was announced, clover's heart broke into pieces. she then thought maybe she'll get to debut again soon so waited and trained more.

then, the final lineup for c2c is upon them and she was confident that she'll be in with jiae, hana and aerin but then it jinheo's name that was uttered last.

that was the last straw, she's not getting any younger and yg is somehow only interested in only debuting girls younger than her.

if it weren't for her her acting roles, friends and mother, she would have gone back to malaysia. not being able to debut twice really increased her anxieties and insecurity even more but she decided to wait for one last time.

clover who sat beside her immediately put the box aside and pull the member into her arms, comforting her.

despite his scary outer attitude, he is actually a sweet and well-mannered guy inside and many don't see that at their first glance. in fact, he seems quite observant to his surroundings. he’s the type of person that needs to do something as he’s easily bored.

at times, he has to compromise his true self. his motivation for being a rapper was to be able to freely express himself which is why he chose the freer form of rap as opposed to song writing. he thinks art is showing to others the world you see and places a high value on being understood.

the idea of them as one is actually strange yet balanced for they are both like yin and yang. they do fight and have their debates on some topics but they keep it low.

even though they both had some things in common, it got them right on track in their relationship. clover's ultimately drawn to the complexity of sejin, she finds him interesting and intriguing. in a way, sejin is kind of a mystery to her; that makes her wanting to solve this person. and what she has managed to do over a period of time, is crack open choi sejin naturally and see the true and real individual that he is underneath.

and guess what? clover loves that person and falls for him harder, that individual whom sejin has kept hidden forever, she accepts that individual as well.

sejin sees a girl who has so much potential as a person and he sees someone who is as free-spirited and youthful as he is but also deep & complex and sejin is attracted to that as they become closer.

as they both also challenge one another, they bring each other back down to reality and call each other out on their facades. surprisingly, they do it without dictating or trying to control each others lives in any way and appreciate one another. the two of them have a lot of self-loathing at times, sejin being callous and sunhee having an insecure nature herself.

they both say to one another,"hey, you're a wonderful person and i accept you." they represent the idea that two completely opposite people can still form a relationship, despite class differences or prejudices against them. these two people are from two different worlds and yet they have a lot in common.
