for a wild child like her that loves playing with fire, she often rocks a red lip with a sharp winged liner to accentuate her fierce looking face. some people think that her make up is really thick just because she has a red lip, but she usually just have concealer, lipstick and eyeliner on. she has naturally good skin and tattooed brows.
she has long brown hair that stops at her chest, she changes her hair colour as and when she feels like it. she has a small frame, slim arms and legs that makes it perfect for the camera. she is also seemingly frail and small because of her height.
she usually goes for clothes that are pretty covered, and oversized tops because she can't stand the cold, she also doesn't perspire easily in the summer. her wardrobe is filled of solid colours, of muted/ dark and basic articles of clothings. sometimes, you can spot stolen clothings in her wardrobe that she conveniently 'forgot' to return to min yoongi.

some say she's a milder, censored min yoongi. she doesn't like to curse but still has that rude and crude min yoongi flavour when she speaks.
min yoonah is a dreamer. she has the drive and passion in her to fight for everything that she loves and is determined to achieve every goal she sets for herself. growing up she lacked alot physically. her family was poor so it trained her to be creative and she had to find ways to earn extra money for lunch. this training of creativity eventually helped her as she grew to write her own songs and rap lyrics.
yoonah always had a scary looking face because she didn't bother to fake a smile to be nice to random people. sometimes she has that face as a facade because she has fears of being bullied because of her petite frame and how she was used to hanging out with groups of boys, which is why she grew to have a boyish and blunt personality. she is also aloof and hardly gets extremely excited over something. even if she was, it doesn't really show on her face. she doesn't like to overreact and complicate things. she really dislike it especially when girls overreact. she also has a insecure side of her which is what drove her to want to look intimidating because she wanted to protect herself.
Background:
she grew up looking up to yoongi but she didn't want to be a female yoongi nor a mini suga. she wanted to be a unique min yoonah, but somehow it just won't happen. her family wasn't rich so financially, it was a struggle. most of the things yoonah owned were hand-me-downs. books, clothes and stationaries, she hardly had anything new. because of that, yoonah's fashion style leaned towards a boyish look even as she got older. other than sharing belongings with her brother, they shared friends. she always hung out with yoongi's friends and they were basically her friends. that was why as she grew up, she had this blunt character and she had to make herself seem intimidating with the boys so she could fit in. they also went to the same schools. until in high school, yoongi went into an all boys school.
as a kid, girls would laugh at yoonah for dressing like a boy and some boys in class would try to bully her but yoonah made sure that she could stand up for herself no matter what and she did not want to depend on other boys especially not yoongi to protect her because she knew that only she herself could protect herself.
yoongi had a burning passion for music that their parents didn't like about. yoonah didn't really understand but she still supported yoongi in all he did. in 2009, yoongi went for a rap competition and got accepted into big hit entertainment. that was when yoonah met namjoon, this really intelligent and tall oppa. she was lovestruck and would spend weekends going all the way to seoul to find yoongi (and namjoon). in 2012 when she graduated from middle school, she begged her parents so that she could study in seoul. and so she did.
As she hung out with namjoon and her brother, their influence of hip hop and rap music grew on goldi. when she got to high school, that was when she found herself forming a hiphop club with her friends, and they would compose music, write lyrics and perform at hip hop gigs. sometimes they'd even skip school to attend them.
in 2014, yoonah WAS SCOUTED BY AN SM STAFF, while she was performing. initially, she did not put much thought to it but her friends really encouraged her to go for the audition. but only until she shared the news with her brother and her crush, and when namjoon encouraged her to go for it, she decided to go for the auditions.
WIthout much expectations, she went in and performed one of her self-produced songs. and that was how she was accepted into sm.

they played basketball together along with yoongi when they were young. they were neighbours that grew up together and he is yoonah's age. he is that person who has to make the difficult decision of who to support when the 2 of them are in a fight. he used to run a bts fansite with goldie and he even got his own little fanbase because of his good looks. he is one of their greatest supporters.

yoonah didn't love woolim in the beginning. she always though woolim was kinda too cringy and cutesy-looking. it was only after a while that yoonah realised how woolim is always looking out for others that she lowered her guard towards woolim. yoonah got closer to woolim when her skills improved and they got to train together. Though yoonah wouldn't say that she's extremely close to woolim, she now loves woolim like a big sister, even though sometimes she skips the 'unnie' and get woolim all pissy and activates her nag mode. and because yoonah doesn't play by the rules, she often gets nagged on by woolim but she seems to enjoy it because she now finds woolim cute. (though it's super annoying for woolim because yoonah just laughs and tries to squish woolim when woolim nags)

Trainee life:
Yoonah began training in 2014 with basic vocal skills and an okay level of rap skills. yoonah's greatest difficulty was to juggle school, training and hiphop club.
because of her resting face, making friends in sm wasn't very easy for yoonah. so most of the time she just trained alone quietly.
every evaluation, yoonah would deliver her self-composed music and the company often loved them. however, yoonah wasn't good at dancing. in fact, she was almost dropped because of her lack of coordination.
everytime she wanted to backout, she was reminded of the hardship suga himself went through and she stood stronger.
as she improved, she was able to train with the more experienced trainees. when she met woolim she wasn't very fond of her in the beginning but eventually grew to like her motherly acts. with friends to train with, yoonah felt better and motivated by her peers.
the day sm announced about blue moon, yoonah was ready to be this girl group that will go places and make a difference in the world. she was determined that her dream to conquer stages where her idol has been will come true.
