this b blood type girl is wild. she is young, loud, outgoing, and really loves putting herself out there and testing her limits. she tends to make friends easily and has a very warm and fun vibe to her. kimmi is not afraid to look dumb or silly, very shameless but it also means she is not afraid to admit she did wrong. Kimmi is very outspoken and it can be a good and bad thing. You can hear this girl laughing, screaming, and even just talking when she's walking down the hall. Kimmi is childish and is the fake maknae for sure, she loves being baby. Kimmi has really good memories and can adapt to changes quickly. Kimmi can mix in and be friends with a lot of different age group. On the outside she may look like she's super free spirited, silly and outgoing but inside she worries alot and is very detail orientated. She is totally the group's hype man but she is super self critical and a huge cry baby once she gets stress out. If anything goes wrong she often blames herself. like she could had done more, if only she did this and that, etc.

in 2016 she was scouted out by a BIGhit rep. during bts 2016 seoul concert. she was tall she stood out and after the show someone gave her a card. but kimmi thought it was a scam and didn't really know how to feel about it since she was only visiting korea at the time too only. she went ahead and called the number and they set up an audition. kimmi sang and freestyle dance. After she went back home about a week later they called and told her they wanted her to go to korean and sign trainee contract.
when she became a trainee she did have a hard time because of the langauge barrier and the culture differences. she was train in both vocal and dancing.
she only had one year left of high school so she was enrolled into sopa for her last year. it wasn't too difficult for her to balance both training and school.

kimmi was born in seoul but moved to chicago when she was 9 months because of her father's job relocation. Her father was a professor and her mother baker. She grew up in a loving and positive enviroment. she lived a pretty normal life. through out her school years she made lots of friends and was in lots of clubs and sports. she was the typical asian minority who took piano class, after school math courses, ballet, theater, swimming, and volunteering.
she took interest in singing because her mother was an indie singer before she became a mother and baker. She knew she wanted to pursue music but her father did not approve of it. he thought it was a waste of all her intelligences. he was of course an asian father who wanted her to be a nurse or something that makes big money, it was one of the reason he brought her to america.
Because she was rasied in america her korean is a little wonky but she still speaks and understand it, she can't really write or read well.
he was one of the first artist kimmi was introduce to when she enter bighit because he spoke english. and kimmi has always said rm was her savior because he help her a lot with her korean and composing. she never tried rapping until rm suggested she give it a shot and thats when she fell in love with writing and rapping. they been good mutual friends since. 1 out of 10 closeness it would just be a 6 because they are not super close to knowing secrects and such but they trust and repsect one another. besides yoon mirae and g-dragon she looks up and really respects namjoon. he treats her like a little sister or brother, she is more of like one of the guys then a little sister. he is fond of her and has spoken of her skills before on his vlives.
kimmi and the group debuted when exid was having a comeback. hani thought kimmi was super cute and fun and has metion it a lot of time so finally they met at the music station and hani slipped her number through the inkigayo sandwhich lol im just kidding but then after exchanging numbers the two got close real quick. hani treats her like a baby and is very protective. they are hilarious together on variety shows.
they met when bogum came to visit taehyung at bighit. he has seen her on tv and music shows but never been formally introduce. he think she is adorable and funny. after his drama ended he went back to mc at music show and taehyung told him to help tnt out and take care of the girls. he often stop by their waiting room to cheer them on and get then snacks or drinks. he will get them each one but probably get kimmi two of what ever he got the members. he ask her if shes eaten, if shes tired, or if she needs naything. bogum has a crush on kimmi but he isn't too obvious about it and kimmi is oblivious to it. she sees him as taehyung's friend, an oppa. he is always watching her lovingly and supporting her. bogum wants to ask her out on a date but kimmi rejects him telling him she needs to focus on tnt because she doesn't know which unit she will be a part of or when she will lose her position. he understands and doesn't pressure her but still supports her.
