   shiwoo is basically everything saebyeol is ...not. he is a clean freak, reserved, street smart and introverted. the bae siblings keep a very close relationship; described as united and humorous around one another despite their awful ton of differences. of course, siblings fight all the time - but saebyeol and shiwoo are often seen bonding rather than arguing. their time spent together is a lot less now that shiwoo spends all his free time at his job, so they decide to make the best of it. saebyeol is extremely grateful to shiwoo for all he has done to her and loves her elder brother a lot.    gunwoo is one of shiwoo’s closest friends in college; infact, gunwoo is friends with almost everyone on campus. from the popular kids to the cafeteria workers, everyone knows his name. but instead of hanging out with them, he chooses his friend’s whiny little sister to spend his free time with. the two had gotten along as soon as they had met, seen as they’re both social butterflies. they’re always spilling tea to each other, so gunwoo and saebyeol knows almost everything going on in each other’s life.just like shiwoo, gunwoo sees saebyeol as an adoring little sister and is pretty protective over her. though, he shows his affection a lot less. saebyeol and gunwoo are best friends and partners in crime - seen as if either of them was busy, the siblings would trust gunwoo with whatever they need.

   saebyeol’s computer science classmate. and her crush,, that lasted for three days. the beginning of their friendship was pretty rough, as the both of them attended detention often for not paying attention in class. saebyeol for doodling on her notebook, and beomseok for playing a game on his phone. they had slowly bonded over ( detention ) time, and now they’re good friends. saebyeol had thought his addiction to mobile games was just a phrase, but turns out she was wrong. the boy had spent almost twenty four hours on his phone - even once sending saebyeol a message about going to the toilet when she was sitting right next to him. beomseok was more introverted than saebyeol; so he clinged onto whatever friendgroup she had. he spends most of his time with saebyeol and gunwoo though - sometimes even shiwoo if he joins. he’s also saebyeol’s candy crush “opponent” if you can call it that. he’s at level three hundred, while saebyeol is at twenty eight.

   hanyeon deals with saebyeol’s the most - unintentionally. saebyeol always seeks hanyeon for help if she didn't know things and was too scared to ask the manager for assistance. like how to switch the square game thing-a-mabob on,  or where on earth is table eighteen because this jjajangmteon is slowly burning my hand off! saebyeol had taken an instant liking to hanyeon, as she was near her age group and actually tolerated her bajillion and one questions during her first week at cafe. she's usually seen clinging onto hanyeon during their breaktime, and sometimes invites her along to hang out with her own friend group.

   saebyeol and jikyung are constantly arguing and bantering over the littlest of things - to the point where it had became a running joke in the cafe, that these two had never actually sat down and engaged in a proper conversation. but behind saebyeol’s continuous whines and jikyung’s eyes almost stuck at the back of her head at this point is an eager teen wanting to learn more from her senior. saebyeol secretly admires jikyung. she’s independent and organised, yet still witty and able to take a joke. not only that, she’s slim and pretty. everything saebyeol is sadly not. saebyeol seeks jikyung for assistance whenever she’s in need of help - not only job related, but sometimes about her own problems as well. she thinks of jikyung as reliable and smart elder sister. she sometimes acts out a little just to get her attention - but of course, not daring to ever go past jikyung’s limit.
